Angelesque (Dollzone, United Kingdoms) problems?

    1. Does anyone know what is the status of this UK agent for Dollzone?

      I've bought some items from them and i never got ANY reply. The purchase was complete via paypal, but i didn't get a single email from them comfirming anything. It's been a week and i've emailed them 3 times already. In my account the item shows as 'pending'.
       
    2. I'm afraid I don't know much about them.

      Is the item showing pending in your Paypal account or your account on their website?
       
    3. It shows 'pending' in my account's order history at the Angelesque's website. The transaction on paypal was completed, which means they did get the payment.

      I dont know how business accounts on paypal work, but premier accounts (like mine) you have to accept the payment, it's not automatic. If business accounts are the same, then they know a payment have been made.
       
    4. Ok, well, if it was an instant payment on a business account (from a shopping cart especially) then they don't have to accept it, it goes through automatically. They would have received notification that a payment had been made.

      Might be that they are just busy or away at the moment and haven't had time to answer emails or update the account status.
       
    5. My sister sent them an email about something else a few days ago, and hasnt recieved a reply yet. Sounds to me like they're busy/away from their computer for whatever reason

      I'm worried they might not be operating anymore but just left the website there... i don't know.

      I ordered 10 days ago, so i'll wait another week because it's easter. If i have no reply i'll have to open a dispute through paypal i guess. :(

    11. Like Maz, I also know who owns this site as I too am a member on the forum she runs.
      The lady concerned also publishes a doll magazine, runs a forum, as well as having to deal with her own family which includes very young children.
      She is incredibly trustworthy and if she's not replying then something must be up, no consolation to you I know but just letting you know this is unlike her.
       
    12. Trustworthy or not, it's inexcusable to take people's money and then not at least respond. If she's so busy, she shouldn't be running an online store. If you're running an online store, that should be your TOP PRIORITY! - and if family or other personal matters prohibits that, then don't run the store in the first place!

      I also inquired that store some time back when I was wanting to buy my first doll, and never heard a peep back - so obviously I went to another European DollZone agent instead.

    14. Thing is, like Trekkie said, if you cant for any reason run the website, then dont, or put a note there saying it's not operating at the moment, at least.

      I know that what i paid wasn't much, but still i tried contacting them for a long long time. An email would've been nice. I waited a month... in that period i could have received my item from china, germany, spain, anywhere really. I ended up going to DZ Spain for it.

      What bothers me is that you have instant payment, you can't just order and wait for an invoice like most places in the UK because despite working as an online shop, they don't really make a living out of it, so they are not there 24/7.

      I only got an answer when i opened a dispute on paypal. Then it didn't take a day before i got an answer from them, an apology and my money back. It's upsetting...maybe they should change the payment option.
       
    15. I bought some shoes off them a while ago, and heard nothing. I kinda forgot all about it (online shopping spree) I can't even remember if the money went out of my account. I've never recieved anything from them though, no email, no contact, and definately no shoes. They may have £6 of my money, I really aren't sure. It's partly my own fault, I should have kept track. But by now I'm past caring. It wasn't a lot of money, and for the amount of hassle it would take to get a refund or anything, I'm not too fussed.

      I have only just been directed to this thread!

      Let me just put up a little explaination on whats happening with the site.

      I se the site up, but have not had time to add much to it or to run it, so I have been in the process of selling it. Its actaully been taken over by a friend of mine, who has spent the last week getting it all updated and she will be running it full time from now.

      Since she has taken it on, we have found that there IS a problem with the email.

      All emails sent get returned. Now, it seems I haven't noticed this, mainly because I get about 20-30 spam emails a day which are entitled "returned email" so I must have deleted the returned emails.

      The email problem has not been resovled yet, Carol mentioned that whenever she tried to send an email from the account, it bounces back.

      I will try and help her to get it resoved as soon as possible.

      In the meantime, if you have any queries, then please feel free to send them to my email above until we get this sorted out. I have no idea why the address will receive but not send. My brother does all my web stuff and I hope he can tell me the problem.

      If you have made an order, and have NOT had the stuff then I will work it out. I have had one order which I didn 't know about, but I have refunded that. I was not aware of any others, but if you have paid by paypal then the money will be in my account so I can either refund it or get carol to send the items.

      From this point, the site is back up and running. Carol is very enthusiastic, and I hope that you can give her a chance. I think she has listed loads more stuff on the site, and I knw she posted orders out at the weekend so things are running really well.

      You can always call me (evenings for preference as I have two small and noisy kids) or email me. In fact if you send an email to Carol from the website she WILL get it, so maybe pop a number in and maybe she can give you a call until the reply email is working.

      Carol will be at the Discover Dolls show too, so you can come along and meet her in person.

      Hope that clears things up, sorruy to anyone who has not had a reply. Email can be such a nightmare when you don't know if it has arrived or not.

      I think Carol will probably post herself when its all working again.

    18. HI, it is Carol here, sorry if anyone feels let down by any delays or non answers, I have been trying so hard to update the web site and sort out my e-mail problem, i wasn't aware emails were not being sent until Cathy pointed it out to me!
      I have now sorted out the e-mail problem, so any questions please feel free and I will answer quickly!

      The site is almost updated with everything I have in stock, but more arriving shortly, so keep your eyes peeled!

      And finally I hope everyone who uses my site is more than happy as this is my aim and after a bumpy start I hope things improve for you all!

Would you please read what I wrote before jumping to conclusions? :doh I wasn't in *any* way jumping your throat All I said was that if someone has a webstore, it needs tending to. Ignoring it, even for a short while, is bound to scare potential customers away. If I hit you on a sore spot there, then.. well, all I can say is it wasn't aimed at you. Nor is it aimed at Angelesque in particular, it's valid for all webstores.

      And I must say I'm still a little ... confused as to what's going on in England. Two people posted here, but I'm still not sure who is the present and who is the past owner? And it's a shame because I am looking to buy me a new DZ doll and due to the customs fuss ect. I really prefer to do that from some EU country.
       
    20. If you read what Life-is wrote (Cathy) she said a lady called Carol now owns the site and is sorting all the email problems.

      Whitey is Carol and has just joined DoA and is now the new owner.

      So Angelesque has a new owner and Carol is sorting out all the email/site problems.

    21. Apologies for being so 'snappy', I have been incredibly unwell recently and unfortunately sometimes my tact goes out the window when I'm like this. I just got rather upset and therefor defensive when seeing people who I know are some of the nicest and most honest you will meet being spoken about like that.
      All I tried to say was that if they were not replying there must have been a good reason for it, it was highly unlike them to behave that way and now we can see why.

      Hopefully it's going to be ok and sorted out soon.

    24. Not recently but my friend ordered a pair of white boots for her Yuu from Angelesque a while ago. Apparently got there no problem.
      But I'm kinda dissapointed cause the site doesnt offer all the things DZ have on show on the official webbie.
      So many stuff I wanna buy but I cant seem to find the right agent. :(

    42. Hi, dont worry sinister! The free shipping may have finished, but all you would pay is the price on the site for the goods you want , plus postage, which is yet to be changed over on the website, but orders upto £10 are £1 postage, upto £20 £2 etc. over £100 free postage! :)

      So I hope this is ok! I know it works out cheaper than ordering from abroad individually and getting customs charges and shipping splease feel free to place your orders on the site and I will get the postage updated tomorrow! (I am not clever enough yet to do this by myself!) sorry for any confusion!

    43. Even if there is a postage charge its definitly better than ordering from overseas. I usually order DZ stuff from china and even though I only want a wig or something small like that I end up paying £10 for shipping! *_* So its really good that we have our own DZ based in UK now. ^^

      Feedback for Angelesque: A few days ago I ordered a pair of white boots from Angelesque and they came just 2 days later! The site is really easy to use and order from and P+P/delivery time is super fast. Whatever propblems they've had before has been sorted out now so I'de really recommend their service. :)

      Just seen this thread! I actually have a DZ Kay in stock with tan skin, he is on the website and has light blue eyes, what colour were you thinking of? If you want me to order some eyes at some point they are £10 for glass eyes.

      The next order is being sent on the 14th November to allow time for delivery before xmas if you want some different colours they are all available just get me the number from dollzone.com.

      Yep we offer Layaway, email me for details and the dolls on the website are not in stock yet but we intend to hold a good amount of stock in the next couple of months, ideally around 10 dolls at all times, just need to get a feel for who is best to stock and popular colours!

      There has been soooo many questions about RS! they certainly are popular dolls! Hope I can help you to offer one a home soon!!
