Shipping [angeldoll] Dealer not responding

    1. hello, I need help as to what to do about a respected doll dealer (angeldolls) not replying to my messages about a doll I ordered. I have emailed a few times to ask politely if she knew when the doll in question would be shipped and I knew the doll company was a bit behind on orders so I wouldn't get her for a while, which I don't mind. but she didn't reply to any of my messages except for one asking about another doll I would have liked to have ordered. I have emailed the dealer before and they always were polite and replied quickly so what is happening now? I now don't want the doll anymore but they aren't replying to my messages. I have always been polite in my messages and haven't bombarded them with emails. I've sent messages to their different email addresses and another message on flickr so I don't think it's went into junk mail. what should I do? thanks
       
    2. If it doesn't make you feel uncomfortable: name the dealer you are talking about. It is possible that other people have more inside information about why the dealer may not respond or how to contact the dealer.
      Another thing you can do is check out recent feedback for this dealer. People may have mentioned issues (and how it was resolved) that may also apply to your situation.
       
    3. hi, I checked the feedback and saw that someone had problems with communication but were happy with the service. don't want to say the dealers name in case they get a bad reputation out of this :( I don't want to sound stalkerish but also seen they were online here recently too :/

    6. Angeldolls? I've been having the same problem with no contact al all :/ I ordered some cans of MSC and I've heard nothing for about... two weeks I think- payment has cleared and I've heard nothing even confirming they recieved it. I should probably email them but I don't want to seem like a twat about it...

    7. Me too.... My very first dolls from Anglesdolls were ordered 2/17 and I haven't heard anything from them. My recent emails to have have not been answered. I want to order more from them but will not until I receive my previous order. What is the most time people have to wait for an order to fulfill? Is it 6-8weeks? I am getting close to that 8 weeks time now.
       
    8. My emails have gone unanswered as well, this is very upsetting to me. I'm running a GO and have some missing pieces, if they don't answer soon I'll have to give a refund.

I'm so sorry to hear so many of your emails are going unanswered :( Sarah emailed me and said she has had a really bad eye infection, maybe if you contact her through here and flickr she will reply. hope we all receive our orders :/ Is it Angeldolls from the uk you have ordered from or angelsdoll?

    10. :( It does kind of suck. I have everything ready to start practising faceups, except the MSC :/ which is sort of bugging me. However, if she's not well, then I guess it can't be helped. :)

      Yes, I do know Ballymena :P We have meetups in Belfast every so often, but in NI there doesn't seem to be many of us BJD-Owners unfortunately :( Especially now two of our group have moved away, there's... 4 of our meetup group left, counting myself? :( Which is kind of sucky. But meh, the meets are still good. If you can make it down someday, you should come! :D

    14. I'm also awaiting responses from pay pal payments sent for a doll on layaway. I haven't bothered them, but feel slightly uneasy sending out sums of money and hearing nothing in reply. A receipt would be nice ;)

      I was hoping for a message like- 'we've received your money, we'll contact you when we're shipping the doll' or to let me know that dollndoll have alot of backorders so she'll be delayed a while.

    20. Giving this a bump since I'm waiting on an order atm that according to my last mail from AngelDolls should have been shipped to me by now, but I've had no further contact despite mailing them and no tracking number. Has anyone had recent contact from them?
       
    21. Nope, Rachel said she'll let me know when dollndoll respond. I messaged them too, but even dollndoll aren't replying :( hope they get back to us soon Lulu :)
       
    22. Urgh, I really hate this kind of thing. I go through a dealer to AVOID this kind of hassle and it seriously puts me off when communications start to fail. I can wait a long time as long as they TELL ME what's happening but radio silence just kills my faith in them.

    24. I got a reply after I sent two mails, the latter of which was verging on snippy. I can't say I'm thrilled with the outcome, but in AngelDolls defence, it seems like the company in question has messed them around with shipping so while the delay isn't their fault, the lack of communications is.
       
    25. That's not good. Hope we get this sorted soon. I think I'll buy mostly from the companies themselves from now on
       
    26. it isn't always the dealer though. if your doll is from dollndoll, they seem to be having problems. i ordered direct from them in January and haven't received anything yet. there are a few of us in the waiting room in the same boat. it's just very annoying when they don't communicate what the holdups are, leave alone giving an estimated date of shipping.
       
    27. Hi Kez, yeah I haven't heard from dollndoll yet either. It was just that a few questions I had asked angeldolls hadn't been replied to and was wondering if I was the only one. Hope we get our orders soon : )
       
    28. I sent Sarah an email concerning payments that I have made and she replied almost immediately :) This has set my mind at rest, and as i only have one more payment to make I am hopeful that I will see my doll sometime before July

    31. I'm going to bump this thread and ask for some advice... I'm also waiting for items, like the OP I wanted to avoid mentioning the vendor's name as I have been hoping to keep a good relationship and make future purchases, however it has now been over a month since any contact; I emailed 28th April in response to a mail from her the day before and heard nothing, so I emailed again 3 days ago (27th May)...

      Edit (1st June): have received a reply and I'm told items will be shipping next week!

      Edit (22nd June): Still waiting, heard nothing since above edit, getting worried again :(

    33. Well, I've just replied to a similar post in this forum. I ordered my doll on 14 April. I kind of knew there would be a wait. He is a Dikadoll Adler and I ordered him with a face-up. Dikadoll wait times can be long.

      In the middle there was a time when I didn't get a reply at once but then Sarah let me know it would be another 4-5 weeks.

      I diarised to ask her after 4 weeks and she replied at once as he'd just arrived! I received him yesterday.

      I imagine that Sarah has a day job or is a student? I'm sure she will come through for you. I think sometimes she has to contact the doll companies for info and as I'm sure you know they don't always reply at once.

      I think Zag is paging Sarah so I'm sure she will come through soon, Mews. I hope so! I need to contact her too LOL

      Adler is beautiful by the way.

      when i was reading this thread, i did a "wow. i did not know angelsdoll was having problems." angelsdoll is NOT having any issues, as far as i know, and they are located here: http://www.angelsdoll.net/index.php

      again, i am just putting this here in case there is someone else, like me, who is confused between the two companies.

      PLEASE remember that our feedback system is ONLY AS RELIABLE as those who use it - if names and feedback are not properly posted, then members have no accurate resource for making decisions about purchases. Retaliation and retaliatory feedback are NEVER allowed and if you feel this is something you have dealt with please contact a moderator with the details.

      Vague references to dealers and refusal to page and/or state dealer names is not really helpful for accurate feedback.
       
    36. Apologies, but I don't know what 'paging' involves, or what it achieves. (I've tried searching the forums for an answer) I included Angeldolls in my first post but later edited it out as I had no response... I assumed perhaps people would be less likely to comment on a 'named' dealer :?

      It's very hard to know the right thing to do in this situation. I'm still awaiting purchases and don't want to annoy Sarah to the point of no response at all. However, it has been another month since any contact...as such if you could direct me somewhere more beneficial to say this then I would be grateful, and happy to provide more details on the story so far! :)

The website you listed, is that the Asian site for those in U.S. to order. I'm very very new to all this and am still trying to navigate through the order process pages themselves. thanks
