Shopping Angel sculpts/large wings?

Fairyland's Fairyline Pegasus Wings + the Wing Assist Connector for 1/4 scale comes to mind. It's intended for Fairyland's Minifees, but I think it should work with any doll with a similar size neck of approximately 7cm circumference neck or smaller

 

@maple.honey Unfortunately I cannot say as I do not own them. They're on my wishlist of potential parts to get, so if I ever do get them I'll let you know Maybe there's someone who does own them on the forum though

 

I'm a HUGE fan of sculpted/resin feathered wings, so I will be following this thread! So far all the resin wings I know about are limited edition releases, and with the exception of the last option all of them are designed exclusively to attach to those doll bodies.

• SartoriaJ released 3 dolls late last year with resin wings that had jointing and designed specifically to fit their 1/3 SarJ bodies. The dolls were Raphael, Melissa and Derek from their 'Tarot' series. Angel wings and Devil wings.
• Luts released KDF Bory the Youth in Dark Warriors back around 2010, and I think it was re-released once. Dark version and Holy version. The wings are jointed and look wonderful.
• Luts also released SDF Bory Forgotten Story.
  
• Soom released Super Gem Obsidius, ode an der Abgrund end of last year. These wings (seraphim six wings plus head wings) look like fixed sculpts with no jointing.
• Edited to add: Soom also released Little Gem Nor & Dune - Regression quite a while back. These wings can potentially fold around the body, but they're not jointed.
  
• I also know of a Chinese creator called Whimstudio who designed a set of jointed resin wings designed to be worn by any doll using a harness and magnets. There were 1/3 and 1/4 versions of these wings, and were only available for preorder through Taobao. I only knew about these because I followed the creator on Weibo, as far as I know this preorder didn't make it out into the EN-speaking world.

 

Dream Valley has 1/4 body with jointed wings. There was another version of the body with with that I own, but now it is discontinued, yet this one is still available Doll Parts, Dream Valley - BJD, BJD Doll, Ball Jointed Dolls - Alice's Collections

They’re not resin, but for Big wings, I recently ordered these from dollection

I have very mixed reviews. The white ones are made of really translucent basically packing foam, and the ends were crinkled. Dollection basically took a year to ship them out and only shipped them out ultimately because I sent a lot of emails, so I’d suggest seeing if another dealer like New Clover Singing could get them, if you wanted them.

the upsides to them so far are that they’re insanely lightweight, which will make either tying them on ir magnet-attaching them a breeze. And they are still quite pretty despite their subpar materials. And they’re huge—like the 70cm size is absolutely massive—I’ll get photos one day once I finish painting mine up.

for smaller resin wings, I’m sure it would be doable to build a connector for the fairy line 1/4 wings to 1/3. There’s also some discontinues doll chateau 1/3 sculpts that had reasonably sized wings: Kevin and Zenobia for bone wings and another sculpt I can’t remember that had butterfly wings.

 

I will second the Fairyland feathered wings! I own a pair. Their movement can come forward to kind of hug the doll. I would have to play with my girl after work to really test them out.

 

If you're up for a serious (and potentially very long-) quest... Hunting down LatiDoll's Black line Largo might be a fun option. He has absolutely gorgeous, clear resin wings (Blushed very colorfully in the full-set version) that are large/heavy enough to be a bit of a balance challenge.

Even finding pictures of that sculpt and his wings is tough, though.... A quick image search isn't coming up with anything, Lati pulled down his sales page years ago, and I'm no help since I've never actually taken any pictures of Bennu (my Largo-) wearing his. Finding the actual doll for sale wouldn't be any easier. To call either of the Lati Black sculpts "rare" at this point is an understatement. But those Quetzalcoatl wings really are pretty things.

I think her sales period ended but I'm not 100% sure. If you can't buy her, maybe ask Alices collections if they can order her for you, because they managed to order mine for me even though the sales period was already over at the beginning of the year :3 Denverdoll is also worth a try, they usually get most of Dollzones dolls in stock.
