Wait Times Amadiz waiting times

Hello everyone, since there is no active Amadiz waiting room and the discussion thread isn't all that active as well I'm posting my experience here.

Has anyone ordered or received a preorder doll from Amadiz in the last weeks or months?

In November 2024 during a sales event I ordered a 44 cm Devon the Elf in milky skin as a preorder doll, which was marked as "casted doll in stock" (and still is) and ready in two months after full payment plus two preorder wigs from Amadiz' website.
Of course, as all these stories go, I paid through PayPal F&F, since none of the payment methods on their website worked for me. So I reached out to Kira directly on Instagram and she offered me to pay directly through their PayPal with the discount they offered at that time and a 2 month layaway option.
Since I had done business with them before, I saw no problem in that, I have two dolls from them (that were all in stock and shipped right after ordering) and several wigs and was happy I got the event discount and a layaway.

In March they reached out to me telling me the casting of the doll will take longer since they are updating the legs of the 44cm body and if I was okay in receiving an updated version. Promising heeled feet as a gif for the longer waiting time. I was ok with that and happy about some free heel feet.
In May they reached out to me telling me casting the doll will be taking longer since they have been sick and had some personal problems. Around the same time, they started posting stories on their Insta, saying they had money problems, trouble with their box manufacturer, health problems... Around that time I was getting a bit worried, to be honest.
In August - having heard nothing - I asked for an update on my order. This time I actually got a shipping date, my order would be ready to ship on September 1st, since casting the parts took longer again.
September passed without a package or notice from them.
On October 19th I asked about an uptdate again. Kira apologized and told me my order would be ready by the end of October, offering gifts as an apology. Well, it's now November and I haven't heard anything back.

This whole thing is especially frustating since they post instock dolls and wigs for their Etsy almost monthly and I'm still waiting for my order since almost a year now. This was definitely my last preorder from them, as sad as it is and as much as I love their dolls.
I am completely understaning when production of dolls takes longer or when life gets in the way of things as long as communication is clear. But me having to ask for an update every few months and shipping dates passing without anything happening is not the way to go.

So, anyone else waiting for a doll from them or has experiences to share?

I got an update though, last week they contacted me and told me Devon and my two wigs are finally finished and scheduled to ship on Saturday last week.
No shipping notice or tracking number until now though. *sigh*

 

Little Update
On 27.11. Kira posted an update on her instagram story that she's been to the hospital because of burnout, apologizing for the waiting times and that all preorder dolls that are ready to ship would be sent out next week (first week of December).
They will no longer accept pre-order dolls starting next year, which is probably the only reasonable thing to do when you're so far behind with preorders.
To this day, I still haven't received my doll or a shipping notice.
