Amadiz Studio Magdalena Old (milky) unboxing + hybrids

Hi to all!​

This is the unboxing of the first released doll from Amadiz Studio, Magdalena.

She was ordered during Dollscar2017 event on June 17, full paid on June 21, sent on August 20 and received yesterday, on August 22. Waiting period was exactly 2 month, the company sent the doll along with the winter batch of Magdalenas, and it was a very pleasant surprise. We was waiting for Old Magdalena version since we decided not to change the head to Magdalena New

• UNBOXING •​

(white balance was set according to the white box color)

Two boxes without ribbons contains additional feet: heels (added by default) and ballet feet (event gift for Dollscar orders). I like these feet, they are very detailed, each finger is well-sculpted, and even wrinkles on the heels are present!

The third box was a big surprise: Magdalena New head appears. My heart missed a blow, but the ribbon is a hint: it is a gift, not head of a doll I ordered

• POSING •​

She stands good and keep arms "from the box", but I cannot overestimate how smooth and well she poses. Her posing became one of the reasons to buy her: I had a chance to try her on Myth doll party and Dollscar. Sinсe I joined the hobby I experienced ~40 doll bodies and she reaches my "perfect poser", Demiurge Dolls body. By the way, the material looks close to Demiurge Dolls or may be heavy colored Dollstown, but Magdalena has much more textured surface.

On my opinion she has a body of adult woman which gave birth already. Her rounded stomach and wide hips fit the character best. Here is maximum forward move:

The smallest breast size:

The hands are unusual, I'd say a little too aged for her, but she's aged character, so I won't change them.

General impression:
+ safe and beautiful package;
+ pleasant bonuses as gift head and seam sanding;
+ posing (!!!) ;
+ unusual sculpt of the face and body, i have never had anything similar;
- surface seems slightly too textured, I'd like to sand it with Magic sponge a little before making a faceup;
- specific hands: might be too aged even for this body.

We're so happy that we didn't miss a chance to order Magdalena on Dollscar!
