Ally says hi!!

Hi all!

I'm Ally and obviously new, as I am posting in this section of the forum! ( I was wondering where the rest of it was before I started reading the smaller text! :P) I guess you could call me a ''refugee'' from DoA. (I saw someone using this term and I think it's quite funny!) I was an ''obeserver'' of the community over there. In something like 2 years my one and only post was : good work, keep it up... or something of that nature. How original and thoughtful! I am hoping to be more involved here and to post things with a bit more substance!

I still consider myself a beginner in the bjd's world. I don't have any, I have actually never seen one. But I've been learning slowly, reading tutorials and forums all around the internet. Since I am wayyy to poor to buy one, I've been thinking of trying to make one for a while...but barely started this week only... so far I have a head. It's an experiment. So unless I am blessed with outstanding results, it will never end up here! ( I might take this opportunity to say that I expect a lot from myself.)

My favorite doll at the moment would be Pipos' Cheshire cat. And I really like all their collection to be honest.. An other brand I like quite a lot is Peakswoods. ( I don't even know if they are considered quality dolls, never dared to ask anyone!) You guys must know about Marina Bychkova's work ? So stunning, I did an art assignment on it last year.

I think that would resume who I am in the doll world! In the real world, I am thinking of studying geology next year, I was an exchange student in the Great Southern Land, I am a fan of Ceasar Milan and I my brother gave me a bit of his obsession for the Halo universe!
