So: I ordered a Unoa back in January, paid with a credit card, got a confirmation email from Alchemic Labo a couple days later. In the email it says: "We will do the credit card payment after we ship the goods." At the time I assumed this was referring to the shipping payment. But I happened to check my credit card balance today, and saw that the money for the Unoa is still on my card. Does this mean that Alchemic Labo will only charge me for the doll after it's shipped, or did my credit card company mess up somehow?
Never ordered from Alchemic Labo before, but it does sound like they will only charge you when they ship the doll. I've ordered from other Japanese companies before that do the same when it comes to credit card payments. They hold the payment/get authorisation for the payment first but only actually charge you when they ship your order.
