    2. I like that you added freckles as most would think albinos don't have them, the bluish tint under eyes, great! With pale blue eyes this will be perfect.

    3. I agree with SteamWitch. But I like his brown eyes its a nice contrast to his pale skin :).

    4. I do like the blushing around the eyes. It's not overdone, and the subtle blue is well done!

    5. Beautiful faceup

    6. I love the blues and yellows. He's stunningly realistic.

    7. I like it, looks very realistic!

    8. I think it is beautiful but i would prefer blue eyes...otherwise the brown ones make him more interesting...great job

    9. This is very well done, you've managed to create not only a realistic skin tone, but a texture as well! The resin looks like skin, very impressive! I like his eyebrows, they're whispy and appear to fit the character quite well. I prefer the brown eyes, it gives more of a contrast. The eyes would have to be dark or an unusual pigment like bright aqua in order to stand out. A silvery or pale powdery blue would become lost in similar tones.

Your boy is so handsome and you're very talented! :)

    10. Wonderful job and very fitting. It´s not overdone, the hint of color and texture of the skin looks great the way it is.

    11. he is very handsome! i agree that some pale blue eyes would definitely go well with his look. the slight blue under the eyes give him an ultimately realistic feel that you dont see faceup artists do very often to their dolls, so its nice to see people take the natural shadows of a face into consideration :)

    12. The colours work fantastically together, and the freckles/moles are the perfect shade and size for this boy's skin tone. Well done!

    13. Well done!

    14. One of my friends is albino, and that face-up is spot on! Well done! I would put blue or pale eyes in him as that would be more accurate to albinism, but it's your doll, so do what you think looks best!

    15. Very nicely done! Like everyone else is saying, pale blue would look absolutely perfect, but you could also go the route of having reddish brown eyes, as that is another strain of albinism. Just depends on the character, and how you want them to look. Really great, though! I'm a sucker for freckles.

    16. WOW! I like a lot the albino look on dolls... it looks so delicate and intriguing! I'm amazed by the texture and the colours you put on the skin, they look SO realistic! Great job!

    17. Thank you all) Retar with pale red eyes now/ This is his finished look) Just waiting for his new wig)
As for the skin texture...i like to paint it... Doll becomes alive)

    18. How did you do your freckles? They look so fantastically real! Actually everything is fantastic. Thanks for showing him :)

    19. It's a lovely doll, no matter what color eyes you put in it.
I have to get preachy here for a sec, because sometimes people don't make it clear that their "albino" doll is 100% a fantasy character, and inadvertently perpetuate stereotypes.
I think most people have an incorrect idea about what color eyes are associated with albinism. The one Caucasian albino I've met had light lavender eyes- the hint of pink is due to the veins of the retina showing through the pale blue iris. If you do an internet image search, be sure to stick to medical sites if you want any sort of reality, because so many photos are either altered or the color is wrong due to the flash, etc. Almost nobody has such complete lack of pigmentation that they have red eyes like a white rat. Wikipedia has a good entry "albinism in popular culture," which is worth reading to remind ourselves that these are real people who not only face health problems but also prejudice.
