---mod note--- These posts were archived from a thread marked for removal ------------------ Apokripha - he looks amazing Love it! I forgot. ves-chan (on Flickr) posted two photos from a friend, comparing Popovy with aGatti Hope that will help someone second photo
I wish I could take credit for him...but I have nothing but the artist and you to thank for giving me the opportunity to find and own this little guy. As far as having him painted..definitely badassery. The hard part for me (since I have ZERO talent) is pairing the right artist with him & that they can/like to paint anthros. I have a handful of artists that I send my "people" dolls to but I think he's a bit different. Plus it would help if they liked cats. Lol. But for over all colouring/concept; something like Siamese, Abyssinian, Puma, Mountain Lion. He deserves full body blushing, maybe a scar, maybe a tattoo but all that has to wait until his clothes are made. I plan to reluctantly send his body off (along with the his neighbor to the left of him) to someone who will create custom clothes. So far I know that a pair of JID camoes do fit but are too long and the leg a tad fuller than I'd like for him. Meanwhile: Here's a little comparison pic of all my 40-47cm something dolls and how Daniele measures up. L-R (Bardo Research: Sadhana; Anna Linberger: Kim; aGatti: Daniele; Granado: Terra; Loongsoul: WanWan) Mini Update: I added a couple photo's in the what fits photo thread
I am a bit slow in getting stuff done - but I have sorted out the trusty steed and practised airbrushing. Next is sorting the dolls blushing and face ups - I feel more confident now that I have had a go at a big horse and got the hang of the airbrush - not confident enough though to use it apart from applying matte varnish sealant - the blushing and painting will be by hand. Here is Ilya on trusty steed - the scale isn't perfect - but not bad:- IMG_5111mod by Carolyn Fisher, on Flickr (the rest of the horse makeover is here:-denofangels.com/threads/making-a-trusty-steed-painting-a-battat-20-inch-or-my-generation-horse.701448/ I have stuck his legs out straight like that - because that is how knights rode their horses - must be to do with all the armour
I also prefer a small head. In case it gives you an idea, here is my mini Grant with a ChicLine and aGatti Guarvo. The Grant is about the same size as the aGatti woman. And, as for small breasts not being "normal"...
