Wigs Advice needed: elf ears and wigs

I've got two Sprites and a Song and wigs fit just fine. They've worn fur and regular wigs with no problem. The band fits just above the ears. Where ears become problematical for me is hats. I wanted my Sprite to have a bonnet, and I had to design one with slots for the ears.

 

So long as the aers are situated roughtly where human ears would be, rather than higher on the head, they shouldn't be a problem with wigs. All of my elf dolls were regular wigs with no problems:

Oldie here! Mostly all of my dolls are elves, some I have purchased that way and some I have modded ears onto. Thankfully majority of wigs wont give you any issues, especially when they're long. The only ones that have ever frustrated me are shorter wigs as they sometimes tend to have a mind of their own and like to stick out in all directions around the ears. However, they are easily managed with a touch of water to stick them back down.

I would say the only thing that you might want to look out for are hoods. I have a couple of boys with some really long ears and they end up looking a little goofy as I try to stretch a hood over their giant elf ears.

 

Almost all of my dolls are elf-eared and none of them have issues with wigs - I tend to want to show off their ears so I fight with the wigs to show more ear haha! So I struggle with styling but the fit is just fine!
