[Adopted] Volks Super Dollfie - SD, SD13, SD16, SD17, SDGr, SDGou & FCS - XII

I finally got home to open my Lovely Dress Tae, and her head is definitely bigger than my first release Anais. O: I'm not sure if Tae has always been slightly bigger, or if Volks modified this version of Tae to fit the SDGr body -- I did hear Shizu was modified and that's why she wasn't as popular?

Voted madly for the SD16 shoes! I've been looking everywhere for some of the particularly popular ones, and would love a rerelease. ♥

 

I have to admit I was hoping for a WS Yugiri or Sakaki more, but I will take whatever bone Volks throws me because like most of you, I am an addict…somewhat sad (not for me, just for my wallet), but true. I vote everyday, and I will only be worried about the Tenshi vote, so if someone wants me to vote on something else, I don't mind doing so!

I've been wondering about that rainwaltz, most of the time the heads are just plopped onto the bodies whether they really fit or not, then given a wig to cover up anything strange, but lately I feel as if some of the heads are fitting better than I would have imagined.

I voted too …. I want those fur heeled boots!! Ugh. How did I miss those when they were released?! Also voted for the Unas, although I'd love to see a number of the tenshi angels re-released. And voted for the chibi kimono outfits.

 

Oh man, that voting-form's shoe selection is pathetic. xD They've released WAY more than 3 pairs of goodlooking boys' shoes in the last 10 years, but none of 'em are up there! What's up with the lack of boys' stuff for the anniversary?

My newest girl 'Milky' who is an original character of mine arrive days ago, she was re-shelled from being a Creamy mami to the new standard model Saki.

Ah, yes, I know exactly what you're talking about -- good luck!! (I've actually been really pleased with the oval glass eyes that you can get from Kemper -- they aren't urethanes, but they're very nice, for glass, and they fit very well in odd-shaped eyewells like Choa.)

Have fun at Dollism!! Wish I could join you -- sadly, the timing isn't right, financially. I'm really hoping that there is going to be another US Dollism in the future!

(I admit, her head is currently in the freezer so that I can try some ED eyes in her, after I pry all the glue out. The defaults are beautiful, some of the nicest Volks default eyes since 1st-release Kurumi, in my opinion -- but I tend to like slightly smaller irises, so I'm going to see how she looks with some different eyes.)

Wowwww, he looks ENTIRELY too hot in that tight priestly trenchcoat! I'm liking the white hair on him, too, against all that black. The frosty haircolor seems to make his eyes look even bigger.

@Ashbet, that waves-kimono is too awesome! I keep saying my boys don't need more kimonos ever, but things with waves on them are special.

He is looking just divine! As any tenshiboy should. I love his yukata. His wig makes him look so much like Yukinojo-- it's wonderful. When painted more gently, Sakaki looks just like Olivia. He's like the go-between sculpt for that couple. xD

I'm sorry to hear you won't be home with the dolls for awhile! Sometimes, real life calls. ;;^^ But the great thing about them being dolls is, they'll always be there waiting for you exactly as you left them.

More Sakaki for your summer evenings... Urban seraph Kentaro sometimes comes to the local bodega with me to get blueberries and wine.



(It's California, you can buy wine anywhere. And it's summer, you can buy blueberries everywhere.)
