[Adopted] Volks Super Dollfie - SD, SD13, SD16, SD17, SDGr, SDGou & FCS - XI

Sharing a photo of my Saitou Hajime, he's still in his default faceup except that I've changed out his eyes and wigs. I haven't thought of a character for him yet but currently he looks good with glasses
I think Saitou's head is kinda big on SDGR, he will be perfect on SD17 body.

That would be great if you could. I have several Volks boys that need to be taller but I believe the SD17 body is only 64cm?

20 one off dolls!! Gosh, I really do hope that there aren't a bunch that I'd like to have. lol, how unlikely is that? Anyhow, I'd love to be able to get a Shadow Shiro.

 

HOLY FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-------! There is a SDGr Alice as a One-Off for the new Volks web opening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just kill me now!!!

 

I'm almost dreading the one-offs. And making preparations to tell Volks to shut up and take my money.

 

New image was posted just a couple minutes ago! Too bad I'm not really a fan of Alice.... ;_; I guess I'll have to pass on her.

 

Here you go, kuina. Volks School A on a DollZone 70cm b70-001 body. This body has a long neck, and even the DollZone heads sit very high on it. I measured the neck circumference at 10.5cm (I got 10.2 cm on the Volks SD13 neck). I think the neck on this body is just a little thick for the Sch A head.

I don't have an SD17, but I believe they are about 67cm.

Oh, the one-offs... I'm dying to see them, but at the same time I'm a bit scared I'll love one way too much! I don't have enough luck to win one, I used up all my luck a long time ago lol. I do hope some find their way to DoA though so I can admire from afar!

 

He's so handsome!! I really love this mold... I wish I could have afforded him. I'd love to see him in more variety too~

And geez, 20 one-offs... I really would love to have the Alice.. like everyone else, I'm practically dreading the rest. But I'm excited too. I'll just be depressed if I fall in love with one and then can't afford it or don't win it lol

 

I'm so glad I have somewhere to go where people understand all my dolly feels~ ;w; I really want to add another SD-size (or larger!) doll to my collection - I'd love to try an SD16 or SD17, or even just an SDGr, but they're all... LIMITED. T__T Volks must love to pull on my dolly heartstrings!

 

@ galatia9 - Thanks so much. The neck does look a bit thick for him. I might have to look for another body with a skinnier neck if there is any.

I thought he looked pretty decent on that body! - Necks on bodies, and neckholes on heads, can always be modified for a better match, if it's not too far off to begin with. This doesn't look too bad. (And if he had long hair, you'd notice it even less. ^^)

SD17s say they're 67cm, but I think they're just around 65cm... Possibly up to 67 with hair + boots + a larger head. My Shiro seems taller than my Genji because he's got a bigger head.

Shinji drive-by just because I think we always need more pics of SD17s in their underwear.

 

Does anyone know when the website will open?

 

Will they have sign-ups for the new accounts open? Arg! I have a million questions that do me no good since I don't have money.

The anticipation is freaking killing me!!!!!! I know I have slim chances of winning a one-off anyway, but I am seriously scared of what they may offer. I mean, there are grail dolls that I may die if I actually won.

 

I just checked and the Volks site is not open due to some technical difficulty... Arggggggggggggggggggh! The anticipation is killing me as well can't wait to see the one off's and of course sign up for a new account. Hopefully the technical stuff will be resolved soon.

I think it looks pretty good too, but Gavreau's baby face looks odd on the tall body to me. If his cheeks were sanded down a bit and he had a more mature faceup, he could look pretty great on it! Even the DollZone heads look almost bobbly on this body, but long hair covers it very nicely.

And thanks for the photo of Shinji! Underwear? What underwear?? o_O

The only one I was hoping for was Pearl, but I'm really impressed by the Tony and Cecile!

I didn't get a confirmation e-mail for the lottery either. I did get one for registering one and for editing my profile. I hope they will send one just to confirm.

 

They were not sending out email for lottery confirmation. You can see the order though under orders

 

The Tony and Cecile really caught my eye too! And that is the most beautiful Yukinojo I've ever seen, though he doesn't usually turn my head. The SD girls are really lovely.

Ksusha, I have always gotten an order confirmation when I've entered a Volks lottery. I entered the Volks USA orphans lottery and got one from there, too. *edit* Whoops, I haven't entered on the new site, though.

Arg! That Kohya girl is so cute! So is Liesollette! And MIRUKU- one of my grails!

 

There are some really gorgeous one-offs! Lieselotte, Bianka & Tony are probably my fav's but I don't think I will put in any entries. I'm still swooning over the new standard girl Coco more than anyone right now.

And jeezum crow, that Tony IS a stupendously gorgeous specimen! I do like a Tony with icy-blonde coloring. But he's an SDGr Tony, which I can't quite imagine... his head is soooo big... and that body is soooo narrow.... As long as he keeps on that gorgeous gothic suit, he'll be fine, but he'd look like a lollipop in a tanktop.

That Shiro is adorable too. (And so much less than he cost on YJ after his original release. ) Love that dramatic red outfit on him.

I've never paid much attention to the Michele sculpt cos I didn't care for it when it was first released, but wow, that boy is tugging at my heart strings! So many lovelies.... but if I had known they were going to do this, I would have saved my money. I just spent on dolls so now I have no doll funds ~_~;;; I may try for one anyway...

 

I have to find a way to enter for Cecile... I never thought I'd find a family member for Gatsby but I think there's some serious resemblance between the two. Not to mention Cecile has been on my wishlist for years, of course. ;D

 

Tony is amazing! He will be perfect for SD17 and SDGOu body

 

I registered, would love to try at the lottery for 1 of these lovelies, but I do have bills to pay and that darn car tax next month......so not fair.

 

I entered for both Lorina and Alice though considering their popularity, I highly doubt I'll be able to win either. Still... I'm crossing my fingers.
