Okay I know this is discussed a lot and I'm sorry for being one more person who asks TvT; I know of some companies like Spitidoll, Akagidoll... but what other -female- bodies match Switch heads / I'm not too particular for resin match, but if it matches then all the better. Spiritdoll is a bit too young-looking for what I want...

 

Could you show a photo of your hybrid of Gyoha with Akagi body 66cm in all growth, please? There is a wish to see proportions) I just in search of a suitable body, for my Doha =)

 

So, I kind of entered the Mocha Waseon raffle on a whim yesterday not really expecting anything, but of course, I check my e-mail today and it turns out that I'm one of the winners. . . ? lol I'm still kind of shocked. I have no idea what to do with him. ^^;

 

I was curious about that. I'm not familiar with the raffle process--super happy I just bought him through FaithZ--but, I see he's just available to buy on the Switch site too. If you order through them now, do they just cancel your order if your're not a chosen raffle winner? I'm not sure why Waseon looks, just, open to buy...

 

I think that's how they're doing it. If you weren't named a winner, they cancel your order.

 

Gottcha, k, that's what I was thinking. I think you'll love yours though! Are you getting him blank or with face up and manicure too?

 

Hopefully I do! I've never really been drawn to the Mocha versions of SWITCH molds, but I already own a Waseon, so a Mocha version shouldn't be too different, right? lol

I'm getting him blank. ^^ SWITCH face-ups tend to be too soft for me, so I normally send them out for others to paint, haha. How about you? Did you get yours blank or are you getting him painted?

 

I loved this face up :3. Got him with face up and manicure. He'll be my first Switch doll . I usually think Switch' s face ups are too girly for me, but I like this artist. I loved the Gyoha face up too, so I was happy this is that same artist--pretty sure it's the same anyway.

 

Oh, then congrats on your first! ^^ Do you have anything planned for him or will he just be sitting pretty? Haha.

 

Sitting pretty right now, lol. But depending on how I feel when I see him, I might put him into a story/setting with my tan FL Scarlett (and tan FL Alicia whenever she arrives)-- a mermaid, steam punk storyline.

 

Kind of excited, I won the raffle as well. I was wondering if it was just an 'everyone won' thing or if it really was me getting unexpectedly lucky, LOL!

@Chelokotik this is my gyoha head on the akagidoll body and also my Hwahui on a lumedoll body (discontinued).

 

I have been away for so long! But there are so many beautiful pictures and new dolls to catch up on! Many of my old boys I have decided to refresh, they have sat in the case for too long untouched one has been nude I think a year now. (poor guy) I am going to be bringing back my unseelie reshelled from my RyunR to my sowah and my ryun I have new plans for. I still have my pale white ajeong. Hes so pretty and minty and I'm really pleased almost two years now, he still hasn't yellowed.

 

I'm not sure If I ever posted a photo of my Ajeong, I'm afraid I don't have too many great ones, the poor boy is still in the process of telling me who he is. So hes in that phase of stealing clothes so forgive the bad picture but I wanted to share. He looks thrilled to have me shoving my phone in his face for a photo too.

Sorry for jumping in and asking question right away. Do you guys happen to know if the 2017 Switch NS skintone matches that of Volks? I had a Ajeong from 2104 and Uhui from 2012 that matched Volks SDGr body perfectly to a T, but I also had a Milhwa from 2015 that was way pinker. I have yet to buy anything else from Switch since then but wigs and eyes, so I don't know what their current resin color looks like.

I am in love with the girl body. I think it's one of the most beautiful girl body in the market right now, but I'd like to make sure first if it's the color I'm looking for.

 

@Sjota Thank you for the info! That's what I suspected too. I really want a Switch girl but the only female suitable head I like so far is Haji:R. Just patiently waiting for a re-release

 

@Ebisama As @Sjota mentioned Switch normal skin is pinker then Volks. The one picture I have doesn't have the heads right next to each other, but I'll link it here anyway. Distant Memory Sunho Resin Comparison The heads are across from each other, with the Volks head showing its head plate.

 

Yeah, their resin was Volks color before they started selling their own bodies. I figure it's probably because they want us to have humming dolly body instead of hybrid-ing it. Which I can understand from maker POV. I remember having a Shiho way back when he was first released and he matched a SD13 body that I had.

 

@Ebisama I also did a resin comparison of Volks, Switch, and other companies. I hope it helps you. I'm still thinking about buying the attractive body from Switch or I'll go with Chinese companies that offer the Switch's resin compatible tone. The price is much cheaper than Switch though.

 

SWITCH recently posted pictures of upcoming clothes on their twitter account and they look so nice! I am excited for it.

 

Popping in with a bit of a dumb question! Are most of the Switch heads/dolls limited releases? There are a couple I'm interested in, but I'm not sure if I should be waiting for a re-release or if I should be scouring the second hand market....

 

Yes sadly.... most of them are limited except for monthly hd series

I was finally able to get Rhapsody's (Switch Ryuzo) body from custom, after 2 months; he's on the Akagidoll 66cm version 2 in Normal Pink Skin. Proportion is great, couldn't be happier. Color wise, the body is a tad bit darker but barely noticeable in some lighting.

Hi, just want to try to get switch doha here… what do you guys think abaout doha?

 

I really like Doha. I'm pretty new to Switch sculpts, but he caught my eye. Hoping to get my paws on him and Gyoha one day.

 

@thiofanni At first, I wasn't too interested in Doha's sculpt but he definitely grew on me after I stared at pictures of him. I have him ordered and I am looking forward to him!

 

Thank you guys... Me too, at first I was interested in seseo but Doha take my eyes after.. I'll order doha head next month through Faithzhk then, with layaway payment, then after finish the head I'll start to layaway for the monthly body, wish me luck for getting my first boy in the family.

Right now he's on Migidoll guys body which the owner is my other doll. But, I planned to get him an attractive body

 

I was actually planning after finish layaway for DOHA, I plan to get popodoll body for him, but I'm not quite sure if it will fit... any clue or information about Switch head hybrid with popodoll body?

 

I heard that it match Switch 2014 but Switch changed their resin colour now. So, It might not be a match.

 

@thiofanni Yay! I hope yours comes home quickly. I think I'll buy one of the switch bodies too, but that won't be until next year (or later). He can join my floating head collection for now.

Hi guys!

I just bought a switch head from 2010 and was wondering if anyone knows if the resin would match with a crobidoll body from 2014?? I hope it's not too yellow for it

 

Idk about the resin back in 2010, but my Uhui:r used to be on a crobidoll body, the match was good... but idk since by know they'll be yellowed more or less.
