Hi there! I stumbled upon these dolls only a few weeks back when I saw Hasel-Annes HeYe and wondered what "OR-Doll" is
I ordered Sui and Hakurin now, I'm excited how they will look in person ^^
How long does one usually wait for heads that are on sale/in stock (does she even keep them in stock?)

peixunpey, It seems to me, Orlando is the most versatile and multi-faceted among Or-doll heads (although I love all of them). He is always different, he is always a little bit mysterious.

[MENTION=67765]No_comment[/MENTION] I thought the previous pic with the playing cards was very seductive, if I may say so^^... and the new one shows you know how to create the perfect perspective, it's amazing! I'd totally get into that pink beetle even though they're very bumpy when you drive.

I was so surprised about the new, very exquisite "trunk" announced at Or-doll's website. I wonder if there will be a male one as well? I don't know if I am ready for a girl yet. But I love stands like this for display.

 

Hello - I just ordered the new (and wonderful) Azuma head from Or-Doll. I wasn't able to register with the site, and also I am not sure if the payment went through ok.

I think maybe I'm doing something wrong with the registration form!

I did get an email from PayPal saying the payment had gone through but the Or-doll web-site said it had failed.

Is it better to use internet explorer rather than Chrome?

Hello everyone! Rene761 suggested I check in here as I now have a Sui head!!!! She just arrived today after a long, wet wait, the artist needed good weather to paint her faceup. I had to be patient & wait her turn, & hope for good weather...but in the end it was so worth it!

She is on a Granado Nuevo body that I bought second hand in the mp last month. I am really happy with how it matches her.
Now to decide on a name...
Mei Xing, Tsukiko, Kasumi....hmmm....

Yeah, my rolling Or-Doll Phoenix head will finally get a body. Can't wait to complete her! And I also found the perfect wig for her. So I'm slowly finishing my first big girl! I'm really looking forward to sew her some outfits...

Hehehe...Hasel, those lips & eyebrows are what hooked me when I found Sui on the Or-doll site. X0 I was checking out the Lion Boy () And Sui caught my eye & won my heart. Sui with this faceup was one of those dolls where I never really had a chance to debate whether I needed her or how would she fit in....she was just meant to be.
Today she has found a safe place in my front room, to be displayed as a fine piece of art...if my family asks me how a doll has escaped from my doll shelf, this will be my answer.
I didn't have time to finish the floral kimono I had in mind for her. But now I see that her ethereal presence needs more layers of sheer purple & blue robes instead, when I get a chance to sew.

Danone, good luck on the body hunt! I was hoping to put my Sui on the Granado Maiden body, which is also 58cm. But first I found this Granado Nuevo body in the mp & she was too convenient to pass up. For now she is 60cm tall on the Nuevo body here. I will be happy to see how she looks on the shorter body also. The Granado resin is an excellent match for my Sui in NS. Good luck with the match with Onlydoll Guu.

glass_mountain, I agree-Sui is indeed beautiful! Last night I finished part of her hanfu...trying to take photos at night is always tricky for me. But Sui looked sooo pretty....

I love how her faceup looks both up close & at a distance.

I have gotten my Limos yet - great dream! That isn't his character, but he is not bad with temporary clothes and wig) He will be quite different, but now he is looking like this. Now he is on spiritdoll 60cm boy body, but I think, that his head is too big for thin body like this) Photo for greeting people)

 

They may be temporary but he certainly makes them his own R.A.Fortuna!!! He looks fantastic.

I was wondering if there was any news about when Or-doll will ship Azuma. They originally said around the beginning of August. I tried to access their web-site just now, and it seemed to be down.

Has anyone had any recent contact with them? ^^

 

I can't help you with Azuma, but when I had questions about my order, Rene answered very fast to e-mails. Also I can access their homepage without a problem at the moment, maybe too much traffic that day?

Wow, she looks really nice on the Souldoll body! I already made some head-thingie for a Souldoll NL hybrid, so I guess it's managable to make that fit...

@MuhKuh I'm glad it helped you) I'd love to see how it will look "completed". As for me I feel that souldoll lacks a bit of shoulders for Sui head, but that just personal preferences

 

Heidin, it is amazing how different our Sui's look!

Mine is on the Granado Nuevo 63cm body.

 

@cthulhu oh yes, I love that thing about bjd generally, and some molds in particular. They can look completely different! Sui is one of them, she has a lot of Asian features, but you can choose to emphasize them or not.
Yours look like a nice Asian girl for sure!

Pony, I had originally planned another body for my Rio, Crobidoll B-line, and still consider it the one of the best variants; all in all, I am satisfied with Doll Legend body, although it a little bit taller than needed

 

I finally painted my Sui and Orlando, Sui is currently on the Dollstown 18yrs body. The resin match is terrible, but the proportions look fine:



Pony, I can try the Orlando head on some bodies for you this weekend, but I only have Soom, Dollshe and Volks SDGr (my boys have to share the bodies, poor things...)

 

I placed my Eris girl on a loongsoul body, the resin match is pretty good and the proportions are also pretty good.

Resin match is nice (both are WS), but the body's neck was far too thick. I reduced it.
I have an Ordoll Orlando too, but he is still waiting for his body

DOA newbie reviving this thread to post some photos of my Limos head. He's on a POPO 68 body and the resin match was practically perfect (though the skin type escapes me at the moment, I'm pretty sure it was normal). The proportions also look really good. Plus you've got to love the Limos default face up

And welcome to DoA Magical Rin, your Limos is also very beautifull, he looks so sad and I love his little teeth!

@ Pony, I'm not sure what you are doing wrong, I can only find the link to your flickr acount in your post. If you are looking at the photo in flickr you have at the bottom right an icon that looks like an arrow, if you click that, click BBcode and there you can select the size and then copy the link to the image. If you paste that in DoA it will show the image correctly
