also, who can say no to school uniforms? *u* if i thought they would suit my dolls, i've have a load of them but my dolls ages are later teens/early twenties orz so for me, they're too old

 

Everyone's dolls are so lovely!! In fact, they might be too lovely, I'm afraid I'm going to end up wanting all of the Migi sculpts...

Anyway, it's nearing the end of the school semester, so I've been super focused on school stuff for the past few weeks, and I'm pretty sure Aiden's super offended that I'm not paying attention to him.


I mean, just look at that pose, and that face. He's so sulky, and it amuses me so much! (which I'm pretty sure just makes him even more sulky, the dork.)

(And I apologize for the mess in the background, the end of the semester means no time for cleaning.)

 

Everyone has such nice looking dolls here holy cow. I hope it's ok if I stick my nose in this thread again, everyone's gorgeous dolls had me kind of intimidated to share mine hahaa, but I don't want to just lurk with out saying anything about these stunning dolls!

I'm gonna toss my Migidoll hybrid here too, His name is Li. He's a Migidoll River on a Mirodoll body. I just swapped his eyes out today and now he's being photographed a ton more. (He had huge fish eyes before hahaa)

Hi, apologies if this has been asked a lot but I wondering how well the resin match is between Migidoll and Angell-Studio? I'm assuming AS solid butter would provide the best match.

I got the uniform from Solomon on Taobao (the hat doesn't come with it, but I have one almost the same as the promo pictures and it looks so cute with it )
Just one word of warning though - the uniform came with a school bag and I only discovered after my fingers and my boy's hands were covered in it that the bag leaked loads of blue dye from around the trim!

I love coming back to this thread and seeing everyone's amazing dolls! They make me want to stop being lazy and take pictures of my own Migis...

Has anyone else seen the news about the suntan skin event? I'm currently plotting how to get my hands on a Cho...

Edit: And on second glance it looks like Cho isn't available in tan! That'll teach me to read the whole page...

 

They've announced Suntan orders, I thought their suntan was darker than that last I saw it. Have they gone back to Volks matching tan?

And why won't they do Jina in tan? ;.; I really want a tan Jina.

 

Rinoa, I'm actually really glad they don't have a tan Jina because then I'd HAVE to get one! I'm already having a hard time talking myself out of a Cho...

I definitely think the suntan is lighter than the previous release, though.

 

I am really loving that Ell in suntan.. But I don't know if I'll be able to bring him home.. orz' The new tan looks very pretty, though!

 

What I wouldn't give for a tan Jina... I bet they didn't release her because we'd break the board!

I must agree with Junnosukebe, Suntanned Ryu is super charming, and what brought me to this thread. >< I don't think I'll be ordering (I've been far too quick to spend lately! Bah!) but gosh sure do hope to see some of these handsome guys around in the future! I wish luck to those of you whose hearts have been hopelessly captured..

I'm glad I don't love the suntan skin bc my wallet is really hurting right now.
I never never never take pictures of my Sky Guys Miho and he looked so good the other day (though a little out of character).

Is anybody have ordered the default make up of Migidoll before?
How is it quality?
As my friend is thinking of order the default makeup or not and I had heard some bad experience of the default form some company , so I would like to know if migidoll's makeup is worth its price.

I got a sleeping Miho accidentally and I start love their sleeping boy~ I think they are so elegant and I love to get him into dresses XD

 

I have the default make up on both my Migidoll boys - Ell and Sun. It's very nice, it's quite a gentle kind of make up, not too dark or anything. My Ell was fairly like the website pictures and my Sun was almost exactly like the website pictures. (I think that other people have had quite different experience with the default make up though and it's not the same as shown on the website, the eyebrows especially seem to come out different.)

Thank you for your experience shearing. I am happy to know that the MakeUp is like the website picture.
I saw your skin colour comparison picture and I think the MakeUp are so nice.

Also, I found that the Sun is so cute and I start to like the M-Cute line doll. They are so adorable.
However, it is a bit sad that the M-Cute line is not in this sale.

I would be tempted to just buy the Ryu head but then I would be very OCD about getting a perfect match body so with that mentality, I'd rather just get a whole doll~

 

I want to get another Miho... tan Yujin is so pretty... I agree [MENTION=48031]Junnosukebe[/MENTION] if I was going to get a tan from them I'd get the full doll just because tans are so different from company to company. But with all these temptations... where is my winning lotto ticket?! Haha

I wonder tho... has anyone seen Ringdoll's tan? I wonder if that would be alright, because I think Yujin would look mighty fine on the RGM4.... I've heard Ringdoll's tan is a little on the orange side tho, and the pictures MD has looks like their tan is more ashey. Ahhh why is this so hard? LOL

Do any of you got the BNB youth 16 body that is available on the Migidoll website ? I really like it comparing to the original Migidoll body, I would would love to see a review (posability etc.) ^ ^

I was also wondering if it was the exact same body as the one on the BNB website, the characteristics are not exactly the same (mostly the neck circumference) ?

I got a tan Yujin... Just the head tho. I don't know what I'll do but I'll wait till I get him to see the color. Also picked up an in stock A type white Miho to qualify for the sleeping Cho. :3 good luck anyone else who wants a tan!

Wow, Black Knight Cho looks great...gladly I don't have the money for a new full doll at the moment But I'm thinking about getting a Ryu head in normal skin for my points I've collected.

Then I would have Ryu twins and Jina twins and Kay twins....and Ell (Have I said that I've started collecting dolls in February of this year...OMG

But for now...my Jina boy head arrived, and I love him to bits. The gorgeous faceup is by lovely Softpoison
He'll get a better wig and a body soon...hopefully...

I have a Yujin on the BnBdoll body! Sadly I can't give you a comparison picture of the two! I had a friend who has the original migidoll body and we did compare the two and this is what i found out. Firstly, the bnbdoll body stands a lot better than the original migidoll body, i had no difficulties allowing my doll to stand and he was very stable (do note that i haven't restrung him, so he is actually still a bit loose!), while my friend's doll usually needed to lean on something as he kept flopping over (my friend has restrung him several times already!). Secondly, i think the bnbdoll body poses really well! He is able to keep poses well, and the joints move very well. Thirdly, i just prefer how the bnbdoll body is sculpted over the original body! However, these are all just my own opinions. If I were to say negative things about the body, it would be that the hands are a little huge...? And his neck is rather thick as well, i think someone mentioned this a few pages in front in this thread~ I believe it is the same one on the BNB website, it probably is just a bit of inconstancy in the measurements. Sorry for typing so much! I hope i was of help! I would glad to provide more information about the body if you need them C:

and tsukikoreikan thanks alot for the review on the body ouo i do got it myself on my Vampire Ell, but i havnt really done anything with him yet, only giving him a name wich is; Rambo x) i tried tigthen the body once but i didnt make the ''knot'' on the elastic good enough so it popped back up again all of a sudden, was gonna restring him but i saw his elastic was a bit worn where his hip connects to the legs so i decided to get new elastic for him before i do anything for him ^^ btw.. what clothing you guys using for this body? SD17 or SD13?

 

I use SD17 clothes on him.
All the SD13 clothes I have (and even the outfit I ordered with him from Migi) are too small for him.

AHH! is it possible to post pictures? I'm still considering if i should get myself a vampire ell ;n ; and there aren't that many pictures of them around!! i use SD17 and honestly i think the body is still abit large for the clothes AHAHHA so it's really trial and error i guess. sometimes i resort to getting clothing for 70cms.

i saw a beautiful NS V.Ell faceup from Darjeeling on fb the other day :3 i myself got a White skin vampire Ell too, but im thinking of trying to give him a faceup myself and he needs new stringing yayyy ..

Aw thank you! I'd love to see what you end up doing with you Vampire Ell sculpt. Oh and a late answer to your clothes question, Kai is wearing an outfit from Angell Studio 1/3 Youth line and it fits him pretty well. They are robes though, so I can't say if the Angell Studio more tailored things would fit a BNB 1/16th body.

Haha I know he looks so serene and zen all the time. And here I was thinking I'd be getting a kind of bad attitude, young punk from the Migidoll website photos. But no, Kai has to go and have a much gentler and mature side than I thought! I hope he likes the outfit he does have coming in for him.

Hi guys! I still haven't found peace with Njáll's body, so I've decided to get him a new one.
Does anyone here have a Migidoll/resinsoul hybrid? If so, pictures please?

 

I was so tempted to get a Ryu in tan during the event, but I just can't justify the expense right now. So I pulled out my Miho for a few pictures and remembered how much I adore this guy.



Still doesn't make me want a tan Ryu any less, but he sure is nice to look at XD

 

I need help please. I bought a Jina head during the last sales period. I'm totally in love with her, but I'm having trouble finding the right body for her. I originally order her a BeYours body but now I'm thinking it will be to pink for her (I'm still waiting for her to get here). I want her to be 60cm at the most, and if she could fit into SD13 sized clothing that would be great. I know the neck gap will more noticeable but I don't care. I've already giving her a face up so I don't want to have to blush her head to match a body. What company skin will match? I've read through this discussion from the time they switched over to the new normal and I'm just confussed. Right now I'm looking at AoD, Granado, Fantasy Doll, Doll Family-A, Spirit Doll, and Soul Doll. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

By the way: Love all your dolls, they're fanastic!! I've been a long time fan of Migi's and I'm trying my hardest to stay away from their site right now so I don't buy anymore dolls until I find my Jina a body. I do like those tans though.

 

I am in the same boat. I don't want anything bigger than 62 cm tbh. Is not practical for me to have such big dolls. I ordered my Ell 2 weeks ago, and I have been looking at Akagi dolls and souldoll as potential NS...

 

Yeah, I like my guys much taller than my girls and if I have guys that are, at the shortest, 63cm then my girls need to be pretty short. Sadly Akagi doesn't sell girls (I do like their 72cm boy body), and Souldoll was at the bottom of my list because the neck is one of the smallest. I wish the companies would make hybriding a lot easier.

I have a terrible feeling I may be one of the few people getting the new NS batch??? which worries me a little bit... Souldoll makes sense, how about Doll Legend for your girl body?? I was looking at their color charts and their NS is sorta pinky, kinda a little bit like the new migidoll NS? I was looking at their dudes bodies there too... I like Akagi has the option of a wee bit taller than just 60cm, without me having to buy something too big... So, I am thinking maybe creating a list of possible matches for the NEW ns migidoll has. From what I have seen looks similar (based on a color chart) Akagi, Granado, Doll Legend, Souldoll possible, Soom original Release (which mirodoll seem to also have as optional color)
