[Adopted] Migidoll General Discussion - Part II

Fiiiinally a tanskin Cho! I've wanted one for my tan Jina ever since their last tanskin release. I would love to get my hands on a tan Cynical Cho, but Ryo's pretty cute too. @.@

It looks like their tanskin is more coffee colored than hot chocolate this time around.

 

Right?! Ryo and Cynical Cho are looking pretty nice in that suntan colour! Plus, they finally came out with a Cynical Cho which I was totally hoping for!! It's too bad that Cynical Cho is a limited, I'd love to get him in NS for my developing character, but I'm just too short on money atm D:

 

The suntan resin looks lovely! :O Wow. I also wish I wanted one of those sculpts... hm... maybe I do? Ryo looks beautiful after all... ;D I'd love to see photos of the other dolls in suntan too...

I'm also really happy to see that Mu will be available with faceup from now on! I wonder if they'll do custom faceups...? Either way, this is definitely feels like a fantastic development!

 

Suntan ;A; Waaaant!! I'm really loving how hot Ryo looks in it ;A; I would be torn between him, Ryu, and maybe Jina...
Just really bad timing for me.... Got a layaway and planning on a big one in late August...
But it's calling out to me ;A; I've always told myself if they do suntan again I'd pick up a Ryu ;A;
I'll have to see what I can do... I'm guessing the suntan will be limited edition so no layaway... But I asked just in case.

Man oh man are tan dolls calling out to me right now. XDDD

 

I didn't get the impression that the suntan was limited but maybe I read it wrong. Hopefully everyone will be able to get what they want though. ^^ I myself really want a Miho but I have a huge dolly debt to pay off first. xD I want to save up for Miho like I did for my first doll. Everyone else wad charged! They're all paid off though except my souldoll on the way. Oh Miho, one day~ I still think he's way too cute for a SD haha not sure if I'd like him in that suntan skin though. I also wish they had more pictures of the other sculpts.

 

Why Migidoll? Why? Do you know how much I love tanned dolls? Ugh. I am hoping that the sun tan skin choice isn't limited -- or at least -- it would be nice if they offered it periodically. D:

 

I could be wrong... I hope i'm wrong... Because I would love to put one of these suntan guys on layaway. But Migidoll doesn't do layaway for limited edition...
I based my thoughts on that the suntan is in the "Special" category and is said to come with limited edition certification card.

Welp! Got a reply from migidoll ;A; They said layaway is possible on the suntan boys ;A;
Now to spend the next couple of days and weeks figuring out who to get and if I can actually get /slapped
Ryo is winning my heart in the suntan and my friend actually agrees with me for once too!! Though she definitely loves Cynical Cho more, I really love his eyes but he wouldn't suit the rest of my resin group imo.

 

Glad I dropped by this thread, I always assumed that you couldn't do layaways on Migidoll if they were limited. This is nice to know though! ^^ Good luck deciding, I've been eyeing the suntan Ryo too!

Anws, a suntan jina sure sounds tempting or even Ryo. Ryo didn't appeal to me in NS, but suddenly, he looks so hot in Suntan >< And a coffee tan instead of a light tan. ><

hi guys! Can I ask who are ordering a suntan from Migi? I tried placing my order for Jina but i can't seem to put it in cart whenever I choose the w/ make-up option. Same thing happens if I choose Miho, Ryu and Cho. It looks like the make-up option is only available for Cynical Cho and Ryo. I already posted the question in the site but I just wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this? Thank you so much.

 

^ I didn't order mine with makeup unfortunately :/ But I can go test if it gives me this problem.

Yes, I experience the same thing. It also gives me a blank popup that I think is supposed to be an error message.


I am crossing my fingers that this head will maybe be a good/close enough match for the newish real skin tan that Luts has. I really want to pair the Ryu I ordered with their sword hands <_< It looks like it'll be a warmer tone (who can tell with monitors?), but that's fixed with blushing.

 

I'm thinking about getting a suntan Jina, but I don't think I can afford a full doll right now. So I asked on the Q&A board about matches to their suntan skin, here's their reply.

From what I can tell, Crobi's suntan skin limited, this doesn't help me. D:

 

Money was set aside for an anime convention I was going to go to but as it gets closer, I am starting to have second thoughts about going and now I am really considering getting Cynical Cho. I need to make up my mind before the 19th. >.<

I found a can of MSC, and I FINALLY modded my V. Ryu's ears. Maybe someday my Ryu will have his expressive faces!

Does anyone know if volks still matches Migidoll from 2010?

 

Would anyone like to share some Cho spam? I'm a bit undecided if I want him as a companion for my Jina or not.

Extra points for Cho and Jina together.

I haven't been here forever >.<' I've been on hiatus for a really long while but I thought it might be time to revisit my attempt to shell my characters. I was going through some of the new sculpts and came by Migidoll's Mu. I did a quick search on DoA and google which yielded nothing (my google-fu ability might have died). I've been contemplating Mu's sculpt for a female character in mind but it would need to fit on an SD10 girl. I had a Ryu head that I thought was a little bit of a bobble for an SD10 girl but I was hoping Mu's head would work as it seems a little smaller. Does anyone have a Mu and and an SD10 by any chance?

To keep it more for discussion and not so much a photo request; how are the new 2013 resin matches with volks? (assuming the pureskin NS has been kept in a cool dark and dry place to prevent as much yellowing as possible)
