[Adopted] Maskcat 57cm Dolls

Has anyone ordered girl jeans from TTYA for their Maskcat SD girls? I ordered two pair and am taking a risk that they will fit. I am expecting them to be long, which I could fix. Thanks for any input. Is there anywhere else I can order jeans????? Help.

 

Did you find out if these fit her or not?

My Nerine has been shipped, fingers crossed for a speedy and customs free journey!

Hello kayjay--I see your have your Nerine girl...looks like she has white skin like my Melodie. They are beautiful dolls. The Maskcat skin in unusually smooth to the touch, luxurious. I'm letting you know that my TTYA order has arrived. I took one pic of my Peakswood and Fairyland Feeple60 wearing them. The white jeans were hard to get over the foot of the Feeple60. But the PW body being slightly slimmer fit well. I order the leather belt to go with but found it took large on these bodies. will be good on the Maskcat and Supia. I also ordered a pair of SD16 size jeans from Blueblood dolls for my larger dolls. And really at a reasonable price. They are perfect on the Maskcat body and the creases in front and back make they rather trendy looking. Easy to get on and off....they also fit the Supia body. Both those girls are larger. I've taken some photos for you to see what I'm talkin' about. Thank you so much, I really appreciate your input and I'm happy that your order was successful. There's nothing worse than buying something that you think will fit and finding it doesn't. My Nerine has the pink skin, although I have to say it is not really pink, just a normal pale natural skin. I have yet to have a play with my Maskcat to find what fits. She's wearing Ospirit here, which fits her quite loosely. I have some Dollheart to try and a few other dresses - I don't have a huge amount of SD clothing as I have tended to collect smaller dolls in the past. I will take some pics of what fits and doesn't when I have a try-on session with her. The other SD girl I have is Laycee by Kaye Wiggs so I can do a comparison with her also.

I love that on her and love that brand of clothing. Do you have a full length photo of her in that same outfit? What size did you order as I was afraid that outfit would be too small. LOVE it.

 

Hi Cathie, no I don't have a full length pic of her mainly due to my lack of tights and shoes for her, but I can get one for you if you would like and forgive her bare legs. I think the skirt is shorter on her than shown in the pics, but otherwise it fits her ok. I'll get photos tomorrow to show you. I also have a couple of other 1920's sets to try on her and report back the fit.

 

I would so appreciate that you post the full length of this outfit on your doll. I've always loved it but was afraid to order thinking it was too small. Whenever you have time is just fine.

Well a big thank you your way...I ordered it this morning. Mint on Card had 2 left and I snapped it up. I know that Dollhearts doesn't seem to be selling any new designs since her designer left to form her own company. I believe it's call Code Noir. I know if the length looks that good on the Maskcat doll, it'll work even better on my FL Feeple60 and my 2 Peakwoods girls who are a little thinner/shorter. I do love my Maskcat girl with the white skin...such a beautiful doll.

 

You're welcome. I haven't bought any Dollheart outfits for a couple of years now, I collected some 1920s inspired ones before I even owned a SD! I then got a Volks Coco but we haven't bonded and she didn't look 'right' in the 1920s look, but my Maskcat girl has the perfect face for the clothes, I think.

Has everyone seen the new 57 cm girl Margo and the new mini sized girl Anemone? Wow - just Wow!!!!

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I posted here but I finally got my Del together and took some pictures of her!


She's getting ready for the holidays!


I see that maskcat is once again producing beautiful works and remains to be a wonderful company to work with. I'm going to have to browse through their items again!

 

Now that I have access to internet AND time to take some photos to post, here is a photo of Lisette. She adopted this red dress, white wig & red eyes for Halloween & I don't know if she will ever give them up!

 

And finally a chance to take nice photos of lovely Nerine who arrived in September. Such a gorgeous girl, fabulous dress, lovely wig...everything about her I love!

If you are still looking for a picture with both a 60cm Maskcat doll and a 65-70 SD, I may take one for you. What ado you prefer? Male SDs? Female? Rather 65cm doll or a 70cm? Please do not answer "all of them"!

I choose my Simply Divine Harlequin on Ringdoll body (more or less 70cm, it's one of my bigger dolls). I was unable to simply put them side by side, so I did a little mise-en-scene! XD
Of cours he is really bigger than my Lisette. She hardly is 60cm with heel shoes and he is leaning over her:

Hey everyone! I was wondering if any of you has already gotten a Margo? I love the sculpt and I'm way to curious for owner pictures!

I think shoes for SD10 and SD13 work well for Maskcatdoll. Here is my Margo (I call her Fargo) . She just arrived last Friday. She is wearing a SD10~13 shoes I bought from Taobao.
She is really a girl worth waiting for!!

 

From what I have read, Maskcat dolls fit nicely in SD13 Clothes pretty well. I'm waiting for a Ronia myself

Thank you very much! I took the picture in a hurry so no proper lighting and setting at all! (plus my shooting skill is not good) She actually looks much much prettier in person than in the picture!

I ordered her at the end of Nov 2016 and just got her last week...that means I've waited for her for about two and a half months. But it might because of the Lunar New Year (which was a very long holiday in China). According to the official site the normal lead time of Maskcatdoll is usually 35 days to 45 days, and I did see some people just waited like 40 days for their dolls.

 

Margo looks gorgeous.......I can see why you are thrilled with her.

And Volks SD13 clothes are a perfect fit for the Maskcat body, it makes it very easy to shop for her.

The faceup artist is truly amazing at her work. She totally delivered my requests, and I'm super finicky about eyebrows haha.

@kuro Of course! I had all four of my dolls painted by Lina Kroeger, with Del specifically in mind for her. She's super skilled and does stunning work. I love the way she highlights the natural features of the sculpts. Honestly, Del's facial expression is so versatile for something that's set in place. I wanted her to be a moody teen and it was delivered, but she can be delicate and vulnerable as well. It's truly amazing. Lina Kroeger also painted the hands for everyone and they are so adorable, especially Del's.

 

@LetterJaey I completely agree, she has really brought out and accentuated all the unique features of the sculpt. So lovely
