Spam alert! I finished the Henley pattern I've been writing and made Ezio try it on. The fit is pretty good (one never knows with knitting until it's finished) and really, these boys make just about everything look good.

Just came to ask if anyone noticed that Loongsoul is also available through Alice Collection now too

Ginormous is right! Those are quite a sizable set. Is it horribly difficult to find tops? And thank you! He's NSY, I just love how it mellows Your girl looks more pink? Which resin tone is she?

 

Lots of things just won't go over her chest and she has a tiny waist so dresses are difficult too. She is normal pink skin tone. It's a lovely colour. I'd buy another Loongsoul but can't be doing with the 9 month wait times.

 

Lol, I've gotten over being annoyed at long waits (I was on the wait list to order a Cuartos dragon for over a year and I'm on the year long Twigling preorder) I'm going to take the plunge and order the pretty new boy in the next month or so...

I got the day off for my birthday, so midweek photostory introducing the new boy, Julius (yay!) This is the 4th year in a row that I've gotten a big LS boy for my birthday, I hope this trend continues (Link to photostory)

As for on topic, i'm new on the forum and decided that i want a Meiji as my first doll. Now i haven't been able to find owner pictures at all. Is there anyone here that owns a Meiji???

Hoping someone can shed some light here. My Muchen arrived with a broken finger and I don't know how to fix it so I thought it would be easier to buy replacement hands from Loongsoul but I checked the website and could not find the hands. Do they not sell the hands separately? What should I? It's very depressing looking at him with a broken finger.

 

who did you purchase him from? If it was a dealer or the website direct, I would think they would be able too assist. Also depends on what country your in, ls does not sell to the US directly. Sorry to hear about his hand, good luck!

 

Unfortunately, I bought him from another seller. Should I try super gluing it back? I've never had anything broken before so I have no idea what to do. Think I'm going to cry now.

 

Aww, Don't cry! I have never had a broken doll, but I understand that a lot of people have simply super-glued it back together. I think if you are very neat, and don't allow the glue to drip, it should be very clean and hard to see. I do know that when superglue drips on resin, it can "stain" the area - as I got a second hand doll that the previous owner had dribbled super glue down the back of when applying magnets and never bothered to remove - but I was able to sand it off for the most part. Fingers would be tricky though. I guess what I am saying is, yes, I think you can fix it that way - but you should probably wait for the advice of others who have had experience doing so. I wouldn't panic just yet though!

Worse comes to worse, I am sure there is some way you can purchase spare hands!

 

If you have the scratch for jointed hands, you should be able to buy those from Loongsoul if you have the doll's certificate or dog tags. Ask the person you got the doll from where they bought it and the dealer can probably help you with replacement parts.

I redid Selias's face-up (he had the default before) into something cuter and more "him". This is my first attempt at freckles!

I also dremeled the inner eye wells to make them not so far back so his eyes would sit better.

 

Selias looks great! Those freckles are adorable.

Delivery of my MuXuan had to be rescheduled due to delivery person negligence, but knock wood, it's all straightened out now, and he's supposed to arrive tomorrow! It's been nice having something to look forward to during a very busy stretch at work, but I'm very ready for him to show up now!

Once I had them side-by-side and tried them out in different wigs and clothes, I had to recast them. My idea for my doll family is ultimately for everyone to be human/humanoid versions of Wonderland characters. Now MuXuan is March, after the March Hare, and Ivan is Albany, for the White Rabbit. Very glad I didn't give Ivan a faceup yet, because now I'm envisioning him with a very different look!

 

I am in 100% Need of an Aoyue but I don't want the Loongsoul body. Does LS release their limiteds as basics or even just sell the heads after the event period?

 

It seems like Loongsoul doesn't sell heads of limited dolls separately very often, so your best bet might be to ask someone to go in on a split with you. You might be able to find a split partner to buy the body relatively easily since Loongsoul has a good rep for well-made and very poseable bodies. Though on the other hand, 80 cm is still a bit of an unusual size...

 

Yeah that's what I did. I made a split thread in the marketplace. I didn't notice right away that he's 80cm. But a super tall boy is just what I need for my OC. I'll probably go back for the body at a later time but the head is limited and I so need it now. I even did a mockup of what his faceup would look like on the Aoyue head. I am in way too deep here. I've emailed Loongsoul and MoC about getting him split. Loongsoul said that a dealer could help me to split the order but I'm wondering if they didn't mean still me finding someone to buy the body.

Found a split partner and ordered my Aoyue! Ahhh!! But Mint on card doesn't send the Loongsoul orders in until July 27th TT_______TT that's a whole month that my doll could be being produced. No fair.

 

I'm dying today! We did a photosession in the yard, and some how lost his 'natural' penis attachment! Have looked all over the house and yard for it. Weird thing is that he was dressed the entire time. So it most have come off and popped out of his pants .. Although I have no idea how!
Been racking my brain trying to figure it out.
He has all his larger 'attachments' but I dont use those (dont see why a doll is sexuallized in such a way).

LoongSoul has really long production times, so I don't think that many people who ordered QingLi or Meiji have gotten them yet, but this is definitely the place to ask

I recently purchased a Loong Soul Leon at their convention booth. I am trying to confirm skin tone and additional details about him. He is my 4th bjd, first new purchase, and I didn't think of questions until after I was home. Grrrrr.
He also came with an assortment of genitalia --- which was a surprise (I thought the extras were hands!).
Have now lost one of them - the basic (flacid) one for pants - and need to order a new one.
Does any one have a direct email contact for LS? I have emailed twice and havent heard back from them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

You can maybe try asking their Ebay dealer, Jeeryama? I've been told that they get pretty good results.

Oh no I am so sorry to hear about losing his uhm, member :/ Esp *that* one. I love Loongsoul, seriously, they are my fav. company, hands down, but I really wish they would be more willing to help out with parts replacement, esp if their customers could confirm order details in stome way. I really fear that some day my Farkas will suffer some break and will be unsalvageable because of the loss and inability to match his resin with either other LS parts or other comp. parts. Just throwing this out there since I know sometimes LS agents have spoken up on some DoA thread or another...

That aside, a day I have been waiting for, for a long, long time has arrived - my Farkas has returned home to me...being picked up at the post office tomorrow! He was sent over sea's to be painted by the lovely and super kind Zoe of Pearls of Danube. I hope his eclipse21 wig fits, that just leaves still finding someone to commission the perfect outfit for him...it's been a long process getting his character straight in my head, but he is truly a doll that will be with me forever. Any ways, hopefully I will have some good pictures to share in a few days, if not, I am sure at least a few bad ones

On the interchangeable urm, parts, I've ordered LongYi on the B-B73-02 body and I pretty much plan on leaving him an eunuch unless he needs a bit of a bulge for photos (non-gapping tight pants FTW) But it is frustrating how difficult LoongSoul can be about parts...

 

My Aoyue is ordered. Now to wait for that July 27th pre order ;^;

Hey Loongsoul that would be fantastic My Farkas has held up really well, but he is not that old yet and I want to have this guy when I'm like...80.

Here is a *terrible* picture but I am too excited about his return to me today from the face up artist. I am hoping for a sunny day tomorrow to get a few clear shots of him. It amazes me how much of a difference a different face up can make! I know he is meant to be a wolf, but I have made him into a frost faery, in memory of the cat I lost last year who we named after a faery prince.
