    1. @Adalwolf Wow, your Ellana is absolutely beautiful! <3 Those horns, and that faceup! *o*

    2. Wow! Her Bodycolor is very interesting and she have a cute Face und this horns <3 <3

    3. @Adalwolf - your Ellana is super pretty and unique. I really love the style you gave her!!

I keep on wondering if Ellana will ever bee for sale again. I have a feeling not, since it is always an Ellana for sale in the MP. Also the Lune body is discontinued and personally I really prefere this over the new SD body....
      But i guess I wont need another Ellana either way since I allready own three of them ^^;

    4. Ellana is my favorite at this point. Her on the Lune body is becoming my grail. I've seen a few of them for sale on facebook or instagram and they always sell within a few hours! I need to start putting away money so I can snatch it up if another one comes along! (I emailed lillycat this morning to ask if maybe she has an Ellana in a box somewhere or something. Fingers crossed!)

    5. I adore Ellana. She is so beautiful. Alas, I've kind of sworn myself off large dolls and have been sticking to mini size. I would LOVE for Lillycat to release a mini sized Ellana. I know there is a tiny size, but that's too small for me.

    6. I got a reply back super quickly! There aren't any Lune body Ellana lying around, but she has plans to release new Ellana on Plum "soon." :O

    7. Ooooh, very interesting!

Facebook and Instagram aren't the only places to look. There have been several Ellanas posted for sale on DoA in recent weeks -- and still more on eBay (with plenty of authentication). In fact, I've been surprised by just how many I've seen lately, and how long they seem to hang around before finally selling. I bought a lovely blank caramel Ellana from the Marketplace, myself, and I'm looking forward to getting her back from the faceup artist before long. (wheeee!!!!)

    8. That makes me even more excited to get Marketplace rights* (*is that the right word?) in a month or so!

    9. Hello :3 Finally I managed to buy a Lillycat doll ! So happy!

I bought a second hand Lyse in caramel skin! At first I thought about dying her in pitch black, but I actually like the skin colour now, so I will think of something else!

I will post some pictures soon! I'm really in love with Lyse!

    10. I just got the shipping notification for my first lillycat doll! She's a dark tan lyse :D I was wondering if anyone knows what size jeans she wears? or where I can get jeans for her? she has the lune body.

      • x 2
    11. I have a dark tan Lyse too <3 Can't help with jeans though, unfortunately. Mine just has a venecja corset.

So all - does anybody have a Plum body yet? I'm curious if it poses better than the Lune body; I haven't been able to find any reviews of it. (I'm kicking myself because I was totally in freaking France at LDoll where she showed them off, I believe for the first time, and I didn't get a chance to handle one :P sigh)

    12. @Holmes9, try this Etsy shop -- I just bought two pairs of jeans for my Ellana here: Outfit for BJD doll end other. by LittleModel. If Irena, the seller, doesn't have any jeans in stock right now, you might ask her whether she'd make a pair for you on commission.

    13. I FINALLY bought a dark tan Ellana on eBay for a steal! I am so excited. She has been a grail for a long time.

    14. I asked the Cerisdolls Lovers Facebook page because I was curious too:

"I've never owned a Lune body, so can't compare the two. The Plum body is really heavy and finding the balance for standing has a learning curve, but she poses easily enough."

I've heard the Lune body was "kicky" and tricky to pose.

      • x 1
    15. Hmm that sounds promising :D I have 2 Lune bodies, and they are terrible posers, so 'easily enough' sounds like a big improvement :P

      • x 1
    16. My poor Ellanas are naked! And how is it that we all seem to have more than one Ellana?? LOL! I ended up with purple grey and dark tan!

I would love to get a Lyse as well, and the big Ninon Plum.

      • x 4
    17. Thank you! I'll definitely ask her if I could commission a pair from her! :love

    18. My Ellana wears regular sd13 sized jeans. She is on the old body (lune?).
These are Nine9style pull on stretch type pants in sd13 and they fit great.
Usually the waist is too big.

    19. Ooooh, I love her! If you don't mind, what kind of wig is that?

    20. It's a Monique wig that I fluffed and cut quite a bit.

    21. I ordered my first lillycat Ellana on the plum body last week... I'm having a hard time finding clothes to get her for when she arrives. Lol. Any suggestions? I did some reaserch but mostly everyone is referring to the old lune body.

    22. I believe the new Plum body is very similar to the Lune body, so I imagine all the same clothes will fit. The Plum body is too new to have many products marketed for it I guess.

    23. I suppose you're right! Thank you for the response ❤️

    24. @Marjie, really? Lillycat's website says that the Lune and Plum bodies are not the same size, and it seems as if she ought to know . . . :sweat

    25. Yes, bodies are similar, but Plum body is 5 cm bigger on the torso and 3 cm on hips... Also, everything looks bigger: shoulders, legs and arms.

    26. Hi. What size shoes are these?

Gosh... I keep looking at These photos. So stunning! She's making me even more anxious to receive mine!

    31. I made my last payment on my Lyse in dark tan on the Lune body~! I am so excited! I'm sure she'll be wonderful, and beautiful! I can't wait! I'll have to make her wig, and painting her face is going to be quite the challenge since I've never worked on a doll that's even a little tan, I'm ready for the challenge! I'll also have to make her a wig, and clothes, and buy her shoes~! This is gonna be awesome~! How long are production and shipping times approximately usually?

    32. When was the sale of Lyse? I missed?
Congratulations! This feeling is exciting. I also make wigs and make-up for dolls myself. I know that it's not just picking the right color and after collecting the image of the doll. I like to invent an outfit.
I wish you an early meeting with your beautiful woman.

    33. Thank you so much I'm so excited! It wasnt a sale on the lyse I just asked Rachelle when I met her in person last may if she'd be able to cast or find one last lyse in dark tan. It was her suggestion when I asked if it would be hard to find them second-hand. She was very kind in telling me she'd try, that was honestly more than I thought I'd get and then being able to buy her? I was over the moon! The funny thing is that I have her wig fibers all picked out and her outfits planned, I just can't start on anything until she's here. Again thank you~ I know I'll love her!

    35. So many beautiful Lyse in this thread! I'm in the same boat as @pinkittycat, my Lyse is paid and I'm awaiting her arrival. Mine was an accidental manufacturer's mistake in the wrong color & body I got from her Facebook and I was very lucky to get her (only two were produced!). I can't wait for her to get here!!!

Lillycat's website says shipping can be anywhere from 4 - 15 days internationally (I'm US-based) but I'm hoping she comes very very soon. Anyone have experience with her ship times?

    36. OMG awesome! I'm so happy for you and glad you got your girl too! I hope she arrives soon, I guess the great part about buying a doll that's already made is you don't have to wait for it to be made, that's the boat I'm in having to wait. :/ At least I'm getting her, my beautiful grail girl!
ALSO; anyone have experience with shipping from Lillycat to Canada? Just wondering, curious about my waiting times approximately.

      • x 1
    37. Aww waiting for dolls to be produced is so hard! The most agonizing part, for sure.

My order updated to “Complete” on the site so now I’m just hoping I get a shipping confirmation soon. *fingers crossed*

    38. I've just received my Ellana Plum today :celebrate Her name is 'Daphne' . I'm over the moon! Shipping took about a week from shipment notice, and I'm in Texas for those of you who are wondering... now to begin the waiting process for a slot with one of my favorite faceup artists, not to mention I'm already on a waiting list for a wig commission. I've no idea how to properly post a photo here apparently, so if you'd like to see her feel free to check my Instagram @isciissweet where she is in all her glory (well not ALL, since she's still a WIP) lol.

    39. She arrived on Monday!

Paid my last payment on 10/13. Order updated to "complete" on 10/16, shipped on 10/18, arrived on 10/23. It only took FIVE days for her to get here! :love

    40. That's so exciting @Elyssiimo ! :D I saw your box opening and your Lyse looks great. :3nodding: Can't wait to see her with a faceup! My Ninon Plum arrived today and I'm absolutely smitten with her. I haven't sewn in aaages, and never really for dolls, but she's already inspiring some ideas...

    41. Does anyone have any experience with hot glue sueding their lillycat girl? I want to try and hot glue suede Ellana, but I’m a little nervous about it.

    42. I hot glue sueded my Ellana, and either I did something really wrong, (which is likely, as it was my first time) or that that resin just does not like hot glue. It peeled off very quickly. It could have been that it was too cool, or maybe even the brand of glue I used. I have since sueded her with real pliver suede which worked pretty well. This has stayed on much longer for me. I did the same or my Chibi Lana as well. Do you have any questions about the process? I have gotten it to work on other dolls with great success. It's pretty easy, just a little intimidating.

    43. All sorts of questions!! Where do I get that, and how or where do I start? It is in fact very intimidating for me! But I feel like it’ll help me tons!

    44. I’ll PM you! :)

    45. @shinibun Thank you! I’m hoping to get her faceup done as a Christmas present, I just have to figure out the right way to tell my husband that I bought her. ^^;

I was thinking of regular sueding Lyse, I just cannot get her to stand on her own. Do I have to take the doll apart to do that? I’ve never restrung a doll and I’m terribly afraid of injuring or breaking her.

    46. We are in the same boat here!

      • x 1
    47. I've never sueded a doll, but it does seem like it would be easier to do unassembled. Restringing really isn't as scary as it sounds! Resin is tougher than it looks and bjd are meant to be taken apart for maintenance once in a while. Whenever I do it, I'm less worried about breaking the doll than I am misplacing an S hook or hand or something.

    48. It’s always easier to unstrung your doll to suede, especially, if you’re wanting to do traditional sueding, as it needs time for the glue to dry. I’ve hurt myself more than my doll, honestly. :sweat Stringing can be frustrating, especially if you’re not very strong, like me, and you don’t have someone to help you. You best bet is to get some forceps to hold the string (you can probably find them in the medical isle of a store, if not, they’re readily available online) and some chopsticks or pencils as well, to keep the string from snapping back. Ribbon helps pull the string through the limps.
      Here’s a good tutorial:

    49. I tried hot glue and it’s a no go. Comes right back off. Lol. I’m going to have to try ordering some of that suede you linked me and give that a go.

      • x 1
    50. Hopefully it’ll work for you!

    51. I’ll kerp ya posted! Still super nervous to restring her, but I’ll have to give it a go!

    52. Hello there! My 2 cents about the Lune body legs ^^
I got my Ellana recently and had struggled with the hips joints for a while. But I don't dare unstringing so I found an option that I want to share: I make myself hot glue discs (just like silicone discs, but as I have a glue gun, well...) with enough grip and thickness. Then I cut the radius (the line between the edge and the center) so I can insert my disc in the joint without taking the doll apart.
Although it's not perfect it helped a lot for me.

      • x 2
    53. HOLY SHIT that's genius. I might try this method. Did you make the discs on like wax paper and then wait for them to dry?

    54. Yes, what did you make the disks on? I’m definitely going to have to try this!

    55. I had a few tries before finding out that masking tape is the best. The yellow one from harware stores, because it adds texture to the discs and it's easier to peel off. I also recommend wrapping 2 pieces of cardboard (or any flat & hard things) with that masking tape and use them as a press.
You have to pour some glue on one of your flat surfaces and cover it with the second one until the glue is cold. It should come out easily and even have a pretty round shape already. All you have to do is make the hole in the center, resize if needed and cut the radius.

    56. I’m not sure where I saw the whole “dr scholls moleskin” idea, but I gave it a go and it worked pretty well. It’s self adhesive so it sticks easily with no residue. I cut out a circle in the sizes I thought would fit well, then cut the circle in half, and afterward I cut pizza type shapes (but not all the way) so that it would be easier to cover the area while allowing some flexibility. She’s definitely posing better now. I’ll try and find the site I saw this idea on so that I can link it here.

    57. Thank you for this great information on sueding the joints. I shall try some joint discs.
I just recently received my Caramel Lyse previously owned from France, and her legs and arms are all over the place.
It's been quite an experience knitting for her as I have to try the dress on her as I knit to her shape. Once I have my pattern perfected, that's not needed.

On another note, a newbie to the fabulous BJD world in my 60's, I'm totally smitten with Lyse. She needs a some faceup work eventually and a new manicure but she fits my Native American character perfectly! No traditional dress in mind for her, just a modern day girl of Native American decent. I will SPAM a pic of her with her new eyes, eyelashes and wig in a dress knit for one of my MSD dolls. Her custom dress is on the needles.

    59. Loving all those Ellana's and Lyse's you keep sharing here:D

I bought Ellana on plum body from the last stock sale Lillycat had. Now I'm just waiting her to arrive to my friend so she can start on her faceup ;3; I'm super excited for her! She's my second big girl and last grail doll to add to my collection, for now at least :D

    60. Congratulations on your Ellana @Tuulen ! I can't wait to see her.

I've been knitting for Kira, (Lyse) and finished a custom dress for her. She's showing Abby how to pose in this picture. Her personality is starting to shine through.
