[Adopted] Kid Delf (Luts) Discussion Part 1

Nyco, I once saw urethanes that had the colour leeched out of them, so the original blue colour had turned silver. The owner just left them in a drawer, so no sun exposure either. I think it's a flaw duuring the casting process, since silicon eyes have been known to fade sometimes if not made right. Perhaps try asking Withdoll if they'll replace them?

Oh no! I've never seen anything like that before.
I agree with Rainwaltz, you should contact the place you bought them from ^^ See if they can help, or at least clue you in on what causes that!

I hope this problem with the eyes can be fixed.
I know nothing of eyes in general, my twins just have acrylic eyes in ^^;

PoeticSoul - I love JinnJinn - I was obsessed with I Dream of Jeannie when I was a kid - and I recognize that name! I should have thought to have a genie doll! Great idea - I love that she looks for forgotten treasures! Does she have a genie bottle to live in? How about a harem outfit? That would be so much fun to make for the dolls - a genie outfit! I love her purple and lavender dress - beautiful with all the details! (purple is my favorite color!)

With the photo albums, you click on the "organize" tab and you make a "set". :3 You can always reorganize, add, and take photos to and from a set so no worries about it being permanent.

Thank you! I super love those blue eyes. I'm a bit sad they're not in my Vampire girl, who they were intended for. I may get her an open eyed head one day xD but I won't be modding her sleeping one. So, Yuki gets them for now xD They look cool with her dark brown hair.

It reminds me though that I failed at making any summery clothes for my dolls this year... Poor kids are all stuck in dark clothes and long sleeves and pants.

Great job on that cool summer gear for your girl, Dieverdog. And yes, I love "I Dream of Jeannie" as well and that's exactly where I got her name. I always thought Jinn-Jinn was such an adorable name for any genie creature. She does have a genie bottle of sorts...a shelf decorated as the inside of a genie bottle. I'm still tweaking it but eventually I'll be taking photos of her in it. Here's my Aru girl in a completely different look, wearing a traditional genie costume I received in a recent swap from the very talented elfmoon here on DoA.

I just ordered new eyes for her. well... I wanted new wigs... but... not enough money for that .... T T
Everything is soooooo expensive for bjd....(especially for shipping fee-_-)
I rather buy my clothes... but always end up with buying more bjd stuffs LOL

In regards to the earlier eye discussion, I have hear of this happening before elsewhere. It kinda freaks me out since the majority of eyes my dollies have are urethanes type eyes...So far they are looking good. I hope the resent heat we have been having won't get to them. But it seems that if they are going ot go "bad", they are going to go bad.

On a lighter note, I am finally finishing up a little photo shoot of my Darshan. I couldn't get call the scuff marks off her body, but her hair is doing a great job at hiding them

Hey everyone, I've been lurking for a while but I'm coming our of lurking to request some Darae spam. I've been looking at Alexei/Elias for awhile now and now Hei/Nobu and I really like the height difference between Doll-zone and Luts, I think it's cute and I was thinking about getting a Darae in the future to be my new boys girlfriend.

Can anybody here help me with some information?

I would like to know when Luts first switched to the "real skin", and when they first started giving their Kid Delfs double-jointed elbows.

I bought a Bory from somebody, but they're not the first or even second owner either, so they don't know how old he is. I used to own a Kid Delf Ttori years ago, and the resin of this Bory looks and feels similar, and I would describe the color as "normal yellow", but it might just be yellowed (evenly) from age? It does not look like the pink-hued resin color of newer Kid Delfs I see on DoA and Flickr. But my Ttori didn't have double-jointed elbows, so Bory must be "younger".
