Thank you everybody for your lovely comments on my new KDF Aru, Jinn-Jinn. I thought long and hard about which Kid Delf to get, but Aru was just so perfect for this little genie character of mine. I needed a face that was super cute, ultra innocent, and far from mature. Aru really fit the bill!

Yeah, her hat really slays me too! That's what I like about this girl...she's just so very quirky in her personal style. You never know what to expect next. I'm involved in a swap right now, so I'm making an outfit for someone (and as I often do, I will also make my own doll a similar outfit while I'm at it, just for fun.) In this case, I'm thinking of making Jinn-Jinn a hat with a jelly jar on it!

my bory and salgoo came on friday after all. mail was just late so i got the card and picked them up on saturday :yay

i'll try to do a box opening this week but it will be at least another week before i have a chance to get to the faceups.

junier does your salgoo have a default face-up? she's even prettier than the company pics!

yeah, bory will be my first boy this size and only my second boy at all. my littlefee digory is so excited to get his big brother, he was feeling a little overwhelmed by all the girls (but girls are so much easier to make cute clothes for ) good thing it's summer the only boy clothes i have are jeans and shoes so he will be bare chested for a while.

Yes, Jinn-Jinn's name is indeed inspired by Djinn. Her story is she's a genie who was freed because her bottle came open when it was accidentally tossed aside and forgotten.

does anyone know if luts ever restocks wigs that are marked out of stock? i have 2 wigs that i wanted that both sold out while i was trying to decide on my order.

 

@AuntBear If you contact them they usually restock for you. And since the summer event is going on, I assume they would since they want to sell more during the event. Thats just my guess though. Good luck getting the wigs you want!

djsiberia, I adore your "grumpy" boys...they do look like they have something to be displeased about, but they look so darned cute about it, it's difficult not to squee! And heat wave...well, I live in the Arizona desert, so yeah...all summer long (and then some.)

Remiera, that photo is absolutely adorable! A tiny puki and giant cookie...who could ask for anymore out of life than that? No wonder he looks so determined to hold onto it.

Mad: I suppose that really it's okay because I don't even have all of Aislinn's stuff put together. But there are also a lot a people a head of me on her to do list. It makes me think I shouldn't have sent out Aislinn's head until she'd gotten through some of her commissions. Oh well, you live and learn right?

Hi All! I'm new in this thread. :3 So far I've had one yo-sd and three MSD's (all of which one I've sold, though the last I'm holding onto for a friend). One of the first dolls I really loved was the KDF Bory and I didn't want to go to SD so instead I went for more mature MSD's, recently I realized that I really want an SD but I also really really want a 'kiddy' MSD. So I'm going to go with a Bory Boy! Finally after the past several years in the hobby, getting a doll that brought me into it is really exciting!

I'd have ordered him on Thursday had I had not went to the Dentist, but I'm definitely ordering him before September! (Hopefully before August!)

So! Can I get some Bory Boy spam? I'd especially love to see some 'posing' spam. :3
