I just ordered tan skin ver of Lacrimosa.
This is going to be really exciting because although I have handled SD13 size dolls, 80cm is going to be a first for me.
I can't imagine how the weight is going to be like and I've seen some comparison of sizes with Class 80 body.. it just amazed me how tall it was. I absolutely fell in love with Lacrimosa sculpt but I was a little hesitant to order it because of how big it was. But then when I saw that they released a tan skin version of Lacrimosa, I just knew right away I had to have him! XD (He is absolutely gorgeous).

I am curious of the shoes that will fit class 80 body though. Has anyone tried Luts shoes on it?@_@
I've heard that alot of the Sd13/17 shoes fit okay with it. Is there a particular shoes from certain company that 'fits good' on it?

anyone else thinking of getting the Dr. Strange doll now that they are doing 12 month layaway?

 

No he is too big and does not fit with the rest of my storyline. I've decided to stick solely with that as my doll owning basis.
Though I will drool over those dolls when they arrive.

 

He certainly is tempting, especially with the 12 month LW.
I am still kicking myself for not getting Grell, ugh !

Hi everybody, today came to my house, my head Sezz tan, I asked for the darker version and in my opinion it's not exactly the same as the color of the photos on the page, did anybody ask for a head without a body? I ask to be able to hybridize and to know if there is any other body with a similar Tan :/

 

Yeah... For once I'm very glad that I've channeled my MCU collecting habit into Hot Toys (a collection that usually feels expensive, but not today), the 1/6 scale equivalent is a tenth of the price of the admittedly glorious IOS doll. It's fantastically tailored, the likeness is comparable to this one, and it comes with numerous fun features such as clear transparent mandalas of his magic in both orange and green, as well as a minute but legible spellbook and all the stuff you see with the IOS model.

(And with the very accommodating payment plans available in the 1/6 scale end of this hobby he's already long - since paid off.)

But I admit if they expand outwards into non-MCU actor likenesses, I may be in trouble.

 

Brought Yuki with me on my recent trip to Japan. Managed to get this shot. A little pixelated because the ISO was messing up but i think it turned out pretty well! Has a mysterious feel to it xD

 

I have trouble finding clothes for them but the dolls themselves are fabulous *___* given the price though I'm hesitant to try faceups just yet

This will be the 4th release! And the version is called Chikagai ver., that is all I know and pre-order will be available in 2017!

If you notice from the photos, the new Levi's face up is slightly different (I.e.: lighter) from the previously released Levi's.

Eh ? XD Clothes are pretty easy to find for IOS' 60 and 70cm guys tho o.o They are the standard SD13 or SD17 or 70cm Guys clothes available at all if not most shops o.o

No information on Undertaker yet but my last chat with IOS... they said it would be released within 2017 >w<
With the amount of collaborations they have going on right now... i cant help but feel like they are gonna delay undertaker's release... since they are re-releasing Levi and have the cumberback and mikkelsen projects going on ..

I've been out of the dolly world for some time, its particular for me to see IOS doing doctor strange. Not in a bad way, just very different from the style I remember them having. He looks awesome though

 

Dr Strange is a realistic action figure, a big one! So he would not match their prior style. He is very well done! I would love to have him but he's not in the budget at this time.

Latest IOS addition to my crew, Ren ^-^ Finally got his wig styled and his eyes came in a week ago ~ All ready for his first "official" photoshoot tomorrow!! Pretty excited! Hopefully the weather treats me well tomorrow >w<

 

Ren is so handsome! By any chance is he based on Ren from UtaPri?

 

Yep! He is my fav character from the series and ive been planning to create him in doll form for a few years now xD

You picked a great sculpt for him. The smirky Valentine is PERFECT! Are you going to find him a sax? It's too hard for me to pick a fave from that series. There are only a couple I don't like XD

Oh nice! I recently just got a Valentine as well! Although I'm lost on what his character will be, I agree with you that he seems to be a natural redhead. xD

 

@Peachy : The character i had in mind just happened to be a redhead lol xD I think they are more suited for Silver or black/grey hair tho... atleast with the default makeup ^^" .. I had to redo my boy's faceup to get it to look ok with the orange hair he has now cuz it was too pale in comparison before >w< Im excited to see another Valentine in here tho! I'll be waiting eagerly to see the character you come up with!!

 

@xTempest Haha, yea it's a bit light, it's beautiful, but when I have the money I'm actually really thinking of turning him into a Shuu Tsukiyama doll from Tokyo Ghoul! His look just reminds me so much of him, and I've wanted one for so long, even before IOS released Kaneki. XD

 

@Peachy : Omg! His default faceup is perfect for Shuu tbh! Did you get Kaneki ? XD

 

@xTempest unfortunately no. T_T I couldn't get him, even though I wanted him, but it's ok, maybe they'll release him again, and if not I'll just make one of my own. Haha

Been gone for a few months, lot's of stuff going on at home, so just catching up on each thread a bit at a time.Taking a break from my coursework to have a little lurk here and I'm actually shocked that I seem to be the only person so far that that I've seen to have ordered Dr Strange... Am I really alone here?

Admittedly he is expensive, but the likeness and the details are just exquisite. Very different from IOS's usual aesthetic, but really well done. I love Benedict Cumberbatch (not a fanatic, just like some of his work) and Dr Strange is one of my favourite Marvel characters so I had to order him when they allowed the 12 month layaway. If it wasn't for that though, I'd have never been able to do it

Lacrimosa and the Infernale head were packed away during a clear out so I haven't been able to give them a face up or even take any recent pictures, but I'm hoping to remedy that soon.

I seem to always miss the sale periods of the anime likenesses (didn't even realise when I'd seen some of the dolls advertised in previous years that they were made by IOS ), so I really like seeing the pictures of them from owners on here. Keep them coming

I really hope that IOS will release undertaker with jointed hands since ive been harassing them for years now to release those but my recent chat with them leads me to believe that they wont be releasing jointed hands for undertaker as they said that the current jointed hands were only for the 80cm dolls and they didnt have plans to release them for the 70cm range >.<

And yeah, I ended up getting Soom hands for my own hybrid boy.

Muahah, I finally got Shade (Anima) into respectable clothing suited to his attitude (read:arrogance)!



Nezumitoo on etsy makes incredible stuff! It's even lined! And the Dikadoll body fits clothes in SuperGem size. This outfit is like it was made for him!
