Just want to jump in. I'm waiting on the Blue head at the moment, ordered and payed :3 Can't wait! This is kinda a new company for me, but that head is so pretty!

 

Ooooooh! Please post photos when you get him! The Blue head looks amazing. Right now I'm wondering if I will be able to get the new 70cm body when it's released to attached my Osiris head to..... I need to buy lotto tickets!

I remember a while back that there was another IOS girl. I have finally gotten mine to a state where... she's not completely blank at least. Her name is Ranlith. I can't even imagine her as a boy now, though I have seen her as one and not disliked it at all. I know she is not what you were looking to see but I am quite proud of how she is coming and wanted to share. I hope that you like her.

[MENTION=12930]Rabbit-moon[/MENTION] I was able to find an old soom supergem with the peanuts not the caps in the elbows... and she has the god hands. Now I know why they are called that. God do I love her hands! She, like I said, is still a work in progress. I have found a wig that will be her natural hair: it's brown burgundy waves so like a warm dark Auburn. She is a burlesque dancer and so wears a lot of wigs. The one she has on is one I imagined her in more frequently. I rather like it on her. I have no experience with girls. This is my first time sewing for them, though those are not her clothes. She's modeling for me. I can't wait to make her some clothes of her own though. I have a magazine that I got with thoughts of another doll but it has all of these worn layered styles in it that I think I can alter. She dresses like an odd combination of a flapper and a much more old fortune teller kind of... person. I want everything to feel like it has age and just... fits. I'm sure I will fall on my face, but I hope to get some nice patterns out of it, maybe one outfit I'm proud of for her. I made what she is wearing, and she might wear something like that occasionally when she is dancing, or to be a twerp and push someone's buttons, but her own style is very loose and free with lots of rich color. I don't even own a single pair of shoes for her. I bought a pair, which I love, but they turned out to be way too big for her. For whatever reason (or because I am an idiot) I did not think to ask what size they were before I got them. I just assumed most high healed feet were the same.... Nope! No way.
[MENTION=60714]batchculture[/MENTION] Oh my thank you. See, I didn't see her as a boy at all. Took me a while to pull this one together. Nicky came together pretty fast comparatively. I'll have to get a picture of both of them once I get her a little bit further along. They would know each other, but be more like empathetic souls than friends. They both owe a lot to the vampire that made her. They will certainly interact better than some of the other pairings I have tried with Nicky. I can't even get good pictures of him sitting next to some of my others. Ironically, Nicky's two favorite sitting buddies are Andreus, who is a vampire artist who was insane while he was alive and gained sonme semblance of clarity when his vampiric senses allowed him to process what he was experiencing, and a werewolf pack leader named Vail. Vail is just a chatterbox. I can just imagine Nicky with a soft smile on his face and his chin resting on his wrists listening as Vail rambles on about some amazing time he had after a show when he was on the road with some band in the early 90s. It would allow him to forget the troubles of what he is for a while. Ranlith would be a grim reminder of how far he has had to go to earn his freedom. I think the sculpt suits her because there is so much pride in her expression, but not arrogance.

Here is the proportion of her head on the body. I really rather like it quite a lot, hands and all. It is her, yanno? I so need to get her some stupid shoes. She needs some heals bad! I'm hoping to ferret a little money away from this coming check to be able to do that.

 

Does anyone know how much IOS bodies run when they release the 70cm in March? I'm hoping to get one but I might be looking at either Luts or Resinsoul.

Is there a special event for free shipping or something ?
I ordered an Infernale head last saturday and the shipping fees (for zone F) were free (I checked twice and went along with it), and I still haven't heard from IOS about an glitch on the website ?

 

Free shipping???!!! Really ?!!!! As I know, IOS did has a free shipping event but it about 3 months ago. I just ordered an Infernale head in December and i paid 17$ for shipping .

 

Does IOS do layaway? I'm hoping to get a body from them when they release the 70cm in March. (I hope. lol)

 

Yep they sure do. Just in 2 payments though, so you have to pay half up front and the second half a month later.

Wow, finally something that's not exclusive to Japan Who else is rejoicing over Ciel being available worldwide?

I guess to anyone who has an IOS Osiris (that's kinda sorta not really Sebastian in the same way that Jaguar and Shadow aren't Grimmjow and Ulquiorra , respectively), you'll now get to have an Official Ciel to go with him.

 

That Ciel made my heart race for a moment until I realized that he's the wrong size.

My future Sebastian is going to be 62cm tall (roughly) so I'd need a MSD-sized Ciel. IOS Ciel is just a bit too tall....thank goodness for my wallet.

I will just admire him from afar.

 

Luckily for my wallet I already got a Ciel (head anyway, haven't found the right body!) to go with my IoS Osiris Sebastian! But the IoS Ciel would be a much better size... and is gorgeous! Too expensive for me though.... *sigh*

 

I saw the price they are going to have for that Ciel and OUCH!!!!!! Oh my wallet just ran under the bed just looking at that! He is lovely so whoever get's him I hope they spam here.

 

I want him so bad, but I already went into layaway for Lacrimosa, but it would have been almost impossible for me to do a layaway for Ciel anyway being 1180 anyway. they would have to be Ok with almost a 7-8 month plan for me to get him....

 

They are not doing their regular layaway for Ciel, I pinged them to ask after the layaway strategy for him and about the 'number-limited' wording on the sales page. They told me (paraphrasing, I can post their email if anyone cares) that they are taking orders until the end of the period (31 March) buuut they are only doing 2-part layaway for him, eep! So thinking carefully on this, though he would look so amazing next to my Osiris too...at least I have some time to think, but I also have to get through Resin Rose and Emerald City Comicon next month, and Sakuracon and PNW aren't too long after that--my geek dance card is already so full, sob!

I actually got my Osiris with the outfit. So I'm contented with him right now. I'm just trying to figure out my Ciel plans, as Ciel is the one my sister loves more than anything...but she has picked her own Ciel out already and outfitted him, so it's a huge debate in the house. If we go in on Ciel together, with a two-part layaway it becomes quite reasonable (for us, not boasting, sorry!) but is it reasonable overall? Argh!

I am more than eager to see the official Sebastian! I wonder when they would release him. They plan to start shipping Ciel in October, so if they want him out by, say, the end of the year, I can't imagine they would wait much past April-May for the order period, but perhaps they'd choose to ship him in 2016?

I'd already got a head for my Ciel, but couldn't find the right body at 50cm. Now I'm probably putting my Osiris on a 72cm body I can go a bit larger for Ciel than I was planning - without Sebastian having to stand on a box!

 

An official Sebastian, huh...won't it be interesting if it turns out that this Sebastian is just an updated version of Osiris, and even more expensive now because he's not only an official merchandise but also a fullset.

I wonder if that's part of the reason why so many sculpts were discontinued...because some of the ones that are actually based on copyrighted characters are being negotiated to be official merchandise (ie: Osiris, Jaguar, Shadow). You never know, maybe in a few years, we'll see official Grimmjow and Ulquiorra — although since Bleach hasn't really featured them in the manga (Grimmjow, maybe, but that was his arm in a panel from how many chapters ago *lol*, and Ulquiorra's dead) and Bleach's popularity has waned over the years, so maybe not...

I was just looking at the DoA thread for the original release of Osiris. I can't remember if you could buy him as a fullset then? Or you could order the Fairy Tales butler outfit through IoS? I think you could so far as I remember. I wonder if it will be the same outfit that Fairy Tales still sell?
But I guess once something gets the word "Official" in front of it that really racks up the price!

 

Well... I think IOS has to do their best to make Sebastian without looking alike to Osiris. I really don't care he's official or not because in the end it's base on the outfit and face-up.

 

What I wrote about Sebastian being an updated Osiris was speculation only since we can't really know for sure until they release pictures. But still it was an interesting thought.

I don't think Osiris was really marketed outright as Sebastian (you know, in the same vein that IOS never confirmed that Jaguar, Shadow, and Chaos were Bleach characters but you could totally tell that they are), so he was never sold as a fullset, although you could buy the outfit from Fairy Tales from the IOS site as an option if you so choose to customized Osiris as that character he totally resembles. I think the outfit cost somewhere between $250-$300 (maybe someone who bought this with Osiris could confirm?).

 

I vaguely remember it being a solid $300, and it was just beautifully made at least. And no, he wasn't marketed as Sebastian in any way, shape or form, but his shape and form helped me figure out a way to end up with him. I'm more than happy with him, but all the same, I'll definitely be interested in seeing the Sebastian that's offered, presumably, later this year.

About Osiris as Sebastian, I must say I bought my Osiris for that carácter. However, to have him in my hands, not felt like Sebastian. I don´t know why!!I tried to do to him a faceup, like Seby, Butler outfit, red eyes, wig...but even so I did it. In the end, I guess for me, I feel that the Osiris's mold doesn't fit quite as Sebastian

However, Osiris is a fantastic mol from IOS, I kept the doll with me and now has a new character in my resinil family. I big fan of Kuroshitsuji and of course Sebastian M and I love IOS, so that why this news has me happy and I'll wait excited

But even before thinking Sebastian, I get the money to have Ciel

 

They will give us a break between Ciel and Sebastian... So don't worry! *Jumping up and down over here***

No, Osiris wasn't actually marketed as Sebastian, but the original promos had him in a butler outfit with red eyes and black wig, so it was quite obvious!
The more recent promos were very different.

I was actually thinking about getting a Blood to make into Sebastian, but when the restocks came up the only Blood they had was WS and I didn't want that so I grabbed Osiris instead and I'm really pleased I did because I love that sculpt to bits. He will be a part-time Sebastian eventually. But I have to start over again with the outfit now I've decided to put him on a bigger body. I do love making extra work and expense for myself apparently!

 

Haha all the feels. XD I have both those heads in white and I don't regret having them, but I'm slightly scared how he's going to look with a darker faceup for my Sebastian. T_T

 

I think it'll work. Sebastian is quite pale anyway.

It's funny. I sent some pics to the face up artist for what I wanted and she's done a really great job! Then the latest artwork of Sebastian by Yana Toboso actually looks even more like his new face up! Brilliant!

 

Ordered Ciel... now is waiting for Sebastian ~ They better make a Sebastian!! If not.. I'm screw....
