I'm pretty sure it's the 10th of August, as the dates of the news posted on their website use the same dates format. And no, you are not dreaming! ^^

paxita, the only info we have so far is that they delayed their release for September, but they will probably post some new pics soon. Can't wait to see more about the lil' guys too!

It is a little unnerving to not know the exact deal as far as the quantities go and only that they will be "stocked." Either way, I kinda doubt the numbers would be that high. Although if anything I think the heads would be the ones that would really be subject to a click war verses the bodies. I'm hoping for a body but we'll see... I'm thinking they will probably always have a "stock" of bodies but the heads would be harder to come by...

 

OH MY GOD. I had to pinch myself yesterday.. I couldn't believe it!

 

I received my Dollzone order this week, so Deniel, my Chaos, finally have a body (the B70-003)! If anyone is interested, here is some pictures of mister all classy in boxer and shoes (because he didn't wanted his pure white feet to touch the dirty floor XD). When I played with him yesterday I thought the proportions were perfect, but now that I look at the pictures maybe the head is a little big? What do you all think?

The resin colors are more different in person, the DZ body is more yellowish and the Chaos head is really pink in comparison.

He was supposed to have some dika jointed-hands but someone at jeeryama forgot to put them in my boxes so I have to wait again... I hope they will find them soon! -_-'

@Joliepixel - haha..I love mister all classy...so funny. Especially with that smirky face. But I guess I didn't really notice the head/body ratio until you pointed it out. But the more I look at it, I guess it does look a little big but not so much that you couldn't work with it, I don't think...what does he look like clothed/wigged? I wonder if it's just the head shape...in the picks it looks more elongated which makes the head look big but then when I put my thumb over the top portion, like where a wig might be it looked alright to me.

 

I don't know if it's the angle of the picture? But like you said, there's a way to work around and do something with him. I really love the esthetic of the body (slender with looong legs, like the IoS body, and both have almost the same measurements so he would probably look the same on the class70 body). Thank you for your opinion!

 

I've just bought Lacrimosa. I'm shaking with joy. My god, my very first complete bjd.

 

Congrats Dulcimea! and wow, going for an 80cm full doll to start. If you can handle him, you can handle anything!

 

I know! But his is my grail doll and I couldn't really let him pass.. I have his character so clearly in my mind. Konstantine.

Yay! I'm celebrating with you I remember how much you love Lacrimosa and that you've been waiting for his re-release. .... and now you will have your grail doll as your first bjd!

I was just as lucky with Taz, my IOS S. He is my favourite and my first doll and he was totally worth the long wait. He just arrived back from the face-up artist and I can't stop locking at him. Will take pictures this weekend.

Yes, I can't believe I begun with my grail doll and I was ready to toss all of my hopes in trash bin.. I was unsure whether to buy him or not, it's a little bit more expensive then I thought but then again, will it be permanent or limited? Will I ever being able to buy him again eventually? So, I bought it with no second thoughts and in full, not with layaway and I hopefully get him earlier >v<

 

I don't think that he will be available all the time. If I understand IOS's statement correctly, the schedule for re-releasing sculpts won't change much. But they have them on stock now, and they'll restock the following month, if a sculpt sells out quickly. I just had a look on the website and right now there are only 2 full Lacrimosas in NS left.

I practically stalked the site in the last 3 days (not to mention the last months) to be sure I wouldn't miss him. I bought him in normal skin (that yellow tone is just perfect ) with the default make up. I only need a suitable pair of eyes for him (preferably grey or violet) to finish him

I went ahead and ordered the class 60 body. >_< It was something I've always wanted but at the same time I feel so broke. I completed drained my dolly funds, but I guess it's worth it. Does anyone here have a 'G' boy? I searched all over the internet but it seems he's one of the non-popular sculpts so it's hard to find owner pictures of him.

 

Holy crap, he's sold out already, nooooooooo!!!! I've been dying for a Lacrimosa, and it ain't even been 24 hours yet!

I am shocked that Jaguar hasn't sold out yet though.

 

Congratulations for all who got especially Lacrimosa, he's incredible sculpt I can say Every time I see him I'm wondering how perfect he is.. totally want to see more of them here, he's still quite rare or they all are hiding secretly. My Lorrence is waiting for Lacri spam as well XD I need to let him out of my doll closet and take some photos again~

 

Oh yes, I'll pic-spam him as much as you all want. I'm gathering some fabric to make him something as soon as he arrives (I already have an amazing crobidoll wig for him) so Konstantine spam for all~

 

Dulcimea: Yay!!! Which wig you chose for him? I like Crobi wigs too so I'm curious and which kind of style of clothing?

I still do not have clothes for him, but he is kind of old style, shirt, vest, classic pants (so, Freedom Teller, come to me *muahahah*)

 

I like this wig a lot and it will look great on Konstantine. Crobidoll wigs are fantastic - I've got one for Taz and really like the quality. I'm so curious to see what you are going to do with your Lacrimosa. I love that sculpt a lot! Maybe one day...

 

I discovered they now restock the doll every 10th of the month, so now it easier to get one of these big boys~
I think I was one of the first the other day to buy him, the third maybe, judging by the Q&A board xP Yup, I stalked the site a lot..
The first photos will obviously be crappy ones, since I won't have any clothes, but I can reuse some old shirt fabric and make him pants and shirts, not elegant ones but he likes to dress casually once in a while :3

 

Well, spit. Up and gone. I was going to try for a Lacri head, but oh well. If there's going to be a regularly rescheduled restock (say that three times fast), at least we can plan the doll money.

I too hope to see more of him in the meantime.

 

welp...in the end I decided to pass on nabbing one a beloved class60 body on the off chance that the bodies will always be available OR they decide to release G. Guess I'll find out next month....

 

I've got the hunch that G might be available soon. He's gorgious! The eyes, the lips and I am in love with the profile shot on the IOS site. I also like gloomy Mezz a lot, but would like him on a smaller body. It'll be best to buy a lotto ticket this week...

 

I'm saving for the 50 for my friend I was glad when they said they would put them back. I may still be short. I'm so nervous cause I have no idea how much they will be. I could cry.

YES post more Lorrence spam. he is so gorgeous. I do really like that sculpt too but I just can't... bring myself to nab someone that I don't have a character for. Your Lorrence is definitely very much someone... and mine would be a pretty shell. I couldn't bare it.

So I have some Nichodemus for you. He is sitting with Andreus right now. they seem to get along really pretty well. I'll post a picture of them sitting together if you want to see. Andreus is another hybrid that I did a ton of mod work on where Nicky is actually the closest to all original that I have. Andreus is very light, despite that he is so broken, where Nicky is very dark. Anyway... Nicky for now.



He's on DA so I have less control over the size. I hope you like it anyway.

does anyone have their 70 cm ios doll heads on a different sized body? like for example a 65 cm body? i wonder how that would fit because i think maybe the 60 cm might be too small looking for it? trying to plan for the future when i finally am able to order my ios mezz head this friday...

I don't have a doll blog and I'm not too sure about Tassilo's background yet. For example he told me that he's Sasha and Ilya's little brother. Sasha and Ilya are from Russia, but as far as I know Taz doesn't speak any Russian ... it's a bit of a mystery.

Thank you! There are quite a few sculpts out there that I love, but S is my grail and I am so glad that I got him as my first doll.

I think Mezz would look great on a 65cm or 63 cm body. Have a look here and here.
