Oops, just realized that the picture I just posted of him above (with the jointed hands) he is actually on a Granado 68cm long leg body. These ones he is on the SSDF body. He does also fit the Granado body but I like him better on the SSDF body.

My guy is strung pretty tight so I can get him to look down okay but I can't tip his head back or tilt to either side. If the elastic was looser, I don't think it would be a problem. There is no gaping with the head. Maybe one of the other owners who also use the SSDF body can help you with the head movement question.

Do not tell me, how can the body in a white little yellowing ... do not lodge it in the sun and also blushing? О_О

 

My Jaguar is in white skin (he was only released in that skin tone) but I blushed his head to match my SSDF body. I did not bother to do the headcap or back of the head since it would not be visible with hair on. It took many layers of pastels, but I'm happy with the result. There is no yellowing or discoloration on the head.

 

Areanra - I love that blue fabric! It looks great on your Kitsune!

In my mind, Kitsune will always be Ichimaru Gin but this mold is really something~~~ Love to see what owners did to their dolls

Areanra, what a gorgeous little guy you have. I mean he does have an I may bite your head off look to him but I love how his eyes are done. Really beautiful!

He does have the... sexy up to no good cheshire cat vibe going, doesn't he Lucky? I think I said before that I loved the aqua on your boy. Good job blushing him to match the body. I didn't even realize till I saw his wig off.

Thank you Sorenka, very much! I... spent some time with him and... well... I blushed him. He's... very naughty. Nichodemus feels that toe licking is simply not good enough for the kind of worship that he deserves. I'll post pictures once I get him and the big camera out together. I desperately hope it picks up some of what I tried to do with him. I only have cell phone pics right now which don't do him justice. I hope that you like his back even better.

Here're also jointed hands from Spiritdoll (Herculean line) they don't match 100%, they're a little bit more orange/peachy but with slight bodyblushing they'd make wonderful parts and they're enough big scale for these boys! And also, if someone wants his arms very very tightly strung, I'd recommend to mod those wrist joints smaller since they're a little bit too large, don't fit correctly and they might break IOS guy's wrists over long time with powerful pressure.. Anyway, they're awesome!!

I love Lacrimosa and am sad not too many are around (or at least don't have pictures here). He is one sexy guy. I may try to find his head one day to put on a smaller body. Feel free to share him with us a lot!

For those that have the bigger boys like the 80cm, what's the posing & handling like? Or do they sit around looking gorgeously lovely?

LuckyXIII that blushing is amazing. I never would have realised he was white skin under that. The more I see stuff like this the less concerned I am about getting a really wonky resin match for a doll hybrid. How many blushing layers went into the matching?

Plus I really like learning about everyone's dolls. People post these great pictures of beautiful dolls that have so much thought put into them so I want to learn more but if they don't mention anything or there's no blog, etc...there's no, easy non-intrusive way to find out. And to that point there are so many interesting looking characters created with IOS dolls...it's inspiring I just want to know who they all are.

 

Hm, three or four layers I think. I could only do so much before it stopped sticking so I'd have to go back out and spray another layer of msc.

 

Hey guys! I'm new here. Just found the IOS website and got my world turned upside down. I think it would be safe to say at this point that after this next convention, my money stockpiling for one of these babies will begin. *A* I'm so in love with these mischievous faces.

 

Mine have been sitting around a lot. First, because they were waiting on faceups. Now they have faceups, but my LumeDoll Usil came in, and all other dolls have to sit back and wait while I coo over him. (Plus, I was busy trying to get a pattern made to make my boys some shirts, so they sat around half naked.) (Yum)
But from the few times I've played with my Lacrimosa and Stille: they both have kicky elbows - the arm just wants to be at a 90degree angle. So I hot glue sueded them (all over), and now they stand great, but wait until you're in another room to fall and go boom, so now they SIT... until I can get back in there and clear out that glue from their ankles.
Also, the butt-locks work great, but really distress the IOS slacks. So I'm sure any pants you buy or make, will need a little extra room in the butt area for sitting.

Wow...thanks Aernath for the comparison and the info on the blushing and clothing consideration. Its funny how one does have to take in how a body is engineering in the fit or wear of the clothes. I bet making clothes for these guys is fun. But then again why bother...

But sigh if only IOS just sold bodies....
And the scale difference between your boys is pretty hilarious. Poor Chase is lookin kinda like an MSD there...haha.

Hi guys. So yeah I fell in love with these 80 cm beasts and now Infernale has replaced my previous grail doll. .H. I joined the bandwagon too late it seems, because every last one of them is sold out. Do they rerelease often? I feel like I might not survive without Infernale. (Okay overstatement there but THE FEELS ARE REAL--)

I just would like to know if the heads fit onto any other kinds of bodies and what kinds of resin colors the IOS dolls are available in.

In particular, I'm curious to know if they would fit on a Soom Idealian body or a Spirit doll herculian body. ^U^
I'm still not so sure about the 80 cm bodies oAo;; They're so dadgum huge. And I've not heard much on how good they are, though they are spectacularly gorgeous. =;v;=

The Infernale seemed like a one time thing, but IoS does do re-releases sometimes. I can't recommend a smaller body for Infernale, though, having seen owner pictures of him. His head looks big even on the Class80!

 

Oh wow, thanks Adalwolf for the pic of your boy with the Herculean hands! They look like a perfect size! I really wish I had ordered that size instead of accidentally ordering the proud size, but at least I ended up getting all my boys matched up well in the end.

And also thanks for the great comparison pic Aernath! hehe it is funny that poor Chase looks almost like an MSD in comparison. I gotta say, seeing them lined up like that makes me even more sure that the IOS 80 boys are the best sculpts out of the tall guys right now. There's a few rough points, but I think overall they have better proportions and overall look than Lumedoll or Lee El.

 

IOS releases their dolls in batches. They post the schedules up on their site so you just have to keep checking back to see if/when the doll you want will be out. You can also post a message on their board to let them know there is interest in another release for him. I have seen the 80cm heads on a 70/75cm body and think it looks good. I think the 80cm heads actually like a bit small on the 80cm body, but that may be due to the fact that the neck looks a bit too big to fit inside the head hole so they look like they are just sitting on top of the neck instead of down on it. I do not have an 80cm myself so can't be positive. I think there is a comparison thread around showing the 80cm with other dolls (soom mech angle and a few others). I'll see if I can find it for you.

I’m so happy to have found a new white Infernale head (someone is selling the entire doll in the marketplace but don’t ship to foreign… Ble!)



Now I’m holding money to buy the next 80 cm new white doll. If Lacrimosa he will have a second head. If any other I will get the body and use the extra blank head to try my first custom face-up (poor guy...).

And I will need to know where to buy shoes for him.

If you click the link I just posted above yours, there are a few posts in there with different outfits. I think it was mentioned that the 80cm can actually fit the Soom SuperGem size shoes.

can anyone tell me please with which firm (especialy Luts or Spiritdoll) IOS white and normal matches?
I'm planning to buy 50cm Fox but haven't decided in what skin tone. And I want to place his head on bigger body then IOS's. Thank you!

 

Going off of that, which color of Soom resin and IOS resin is the best match for each other? ;v; If someone could answer that, I'd be greatly appreciative.

Look like IoS changed their order system. If I understand correctly they will only sells dolls they have in stock and will restock every 10th of each month? That is interesting... we might be able to get some sculpt easier that way, but I wonder if they will keep stock of everything!

I saw that news and found it hard to understand. I was wondering if they are going to mark all or most dolls as in stock but only make a few. Then those who put their orders in after the listed number get moved to the next months production. I guess we'll have to wait to find out more. Sill hoping to get a Jaguar in normal skin (with a body!). Tempted by others too...

 

Really curious how it will work...which dolls will they have "in stock" and how they will decide. That would be a lot of dolls to have pre-made even if it was just 1 of each sculpt and hope they will sell. It might be good for some of the popular sculpts but for some others they may just sit around and not move. It would be exciting though if they would their bodies separately.

 

Yeah now that you mention it, they would potentially have some dolls in stock for a long time if they only sell pre-made stuff... I'm not sure it's a good thing. And if it's 1 of each, it's going to be a click war on the 10th of each month.

 

But a click war you have a chance of winning every month Which may be better than waiting months and months, hoping that they'll re-release the sculpt you want...

 

Good point but stressful...ugh...I remember how stressful it was to get my M before they extended production amounts. But I guess we'll see soon enough. I am just kinda glad that they will be doing some kind of monthly production. I'd love to get another IOS boy.

 

It was nerve-racking! M and S sold out in minutes and I almost missed out.
But who knows. If all of the sculpts were available in small numbers once a month, it might sort itself out after a while. It might take a few months or even a year for the more popular sculpts. If the demand is steaduy, the new system might even result in a few more jobs @ IOS

Very true. I am looking at it in a positive light and trying to calm my "freak out meter". But yeah, I never want to have to go through that again with the M & S sale. But I would love for the company to do well and continue to produce. Their dolls are so incredibly unique. And I love the IOS60 body. Plus you know an IOS doll when you see it and I like that. So...that said, I'd probably be awake at some horrible hour poised for the click war if it comes to that.

Me too! With the new system there will always be a new chance the following month! IOS is one of my favourite doll companies and I wish them well too.

I was thinking about making my Jaguar a red head, but I think he's always going to be Grimmjow to me. So Grimm will stay as-is, though he is a different character. Can't resist the grin!

Question! Does anyone here the difference between the normal skin color and their White skin color??

 

Other than white being white and normal being normal? I don't have a normal skin, but the white is very white. Not sure if the normal leans towards pink or yellow.

OMG I am so excited about the re-stock news and that they will have the class60 body available. I was two steps away from ordering a different body for a floater head but I desperately wanted him on the class60. Something was telling me to hold off on getting one of the other bodies, since IOS announced it's stocking plans...and it looks like it all paid off. Yippee!

Now I just hope that there will be enough re-stock for me to pick up a body this go around. I know I will be awake first thing it goes on sale.

I got my answers from IOS!

I'm not that happy about the news for Jaguar considering the answers because I will have the money to buy him on the 15th and as he look pretty popular I'm sure they will all be sold when I will get my money... and it look like models will change every month so I might wait another long time before having my chance to have my Jaguar... sad me is very sad...

 

Joliepixel - I wonder if you can make it with layaway or something and it looks like they give you 3 days from the order period to pay. But who knows if they will change this process too. I was just looking at layaway myself since I'm jobless at the moment and shouldn't be buying anything. I hope you can make it and get your boy..

 

I'm slightly confused now ...
So, IOS said they'd sell only in stock items and re-stock each month on th 10th. However, not all items will be restocked on a monthly basis, so like before some sculpts might not be available for some time. But they did say that there will be another chance to order in the following month, if a sculpt sells out quickly.
Jaguar seems to be very popular. He might go on sale again in September. Or maybe you could order him via paypal CC?

 

It is a bit confusing... I hope they will restock popular sculpts the next month. I don't want to make this all complicated so I will wait until the 15 if there's still some in-stock, "destiny" will choose for me if I have him now or later!

 

It sounds as if there are more chances to get dolls under this system than in the past... when we never knew if any of the dolls would ever be re-sold again! OR when they did come up, it was only for a short time and in VERY small numbers.

Dolls are all about waiting and waiting... At least with this system it sounds as if they will re-stock when they can!

...Makes me happier, anyway! I'm not ready to buy any dolls at this time, either, but I'm glad to have a chance to buy in the future!

I've been doing a happy dance since I read the news. I'm not looking forward to spending the money and waiting, but I know it'll pay off when Jaguar arrives home.
