[Adopted] Fairyland RealFee Discussion Part 2

Arkelle - Sorry you're already having a difficult experience, I'm sure this doesn't make it any better. I know that after a mistake, it doesn't seem unreasonable to expect above-average reconciliation. But I think that's just how the cookie crumbles. My Pano has some thin resin on his chin that I can see the light through if I hold it up. I'm personally not bothered by it, since I know they're handmade and I expect imperfections in any handmade product. Seems like they were also working very fast by FL standards, and speed and precision don't often go hand in hand :\

 

Am I a terrible person, when so many others are still waiting for their RealFees, if I'm dying for Fairyland to re-open RealFee orders?

Nanny Boggart, my Panos, points out that if I'm going to end up buying another NS body for my reshelled Hari O'Malley (LittleFee Leah, on a RLF body with bunny legs), I could get Nanny some WS faun legs that would match her fullset wig. And get the hoofs blushed metallic blue, to go with her eyes. Darned demanding little beings!...

Yay, my Pano showed up in town this morning and is out for delivery! Hopefully he's on the right truck and actually arrives today.

 

A Blythe tunic, Sora is still waiting and not very patiently for Nuada to arrive.

 

not really, i don't even have mine yet and already i have plans for two more bodies with pukifee head connectors. i hope they wait a little while though i need to sell some stuff before i can afford all that!

 

Me too ;D Seeing the Realfee Body from Owner Pics made me love it and my Soso Event Head needs a Body xD
Hope FL will release the Human Bodys as a regular, unlimited option. And if they would be REALLY nice, They would also do that with May and Pano head XD (I NEED a Pano. She is so cute and I love her smile)

 

Oh man, people are getting theirs already?? So excited! I bought a Pano, but no news of him being shipped yet.

Wow, she's so sweet! I love her giant fluffy wig; it fits her perfectly. I didn't think anything of May before, but now I almost regret not getting her too :P I love her furry rabbit legs and over sized feet. If an opportunity ever arises I may cave in...

Hey everyone, I just got my Fullset Pano and May from DDE today and I was wondering if anyone else that received their Realfees did not get the faceplate magnets? My May didn't come with hers and I already sent an email to DDE about it. Pano did thankfully. (still need to think of names for them) Just wondering if anyone else here had the same problem?

Finished painting my pupu plate today. The wig is actually 6-7 sized, its only holding onto her head because of her bunny ear magnets, lol. I haven't seen many pupus so anyone interested check out my flickr 'cause I have a lot more pics!

She's beautiful! Having seen so many heavy-handed Fairyland Pupu face-ups, your light touch is like a breath of fresh air.

 

Well my Pano arrived today and I have some small discrepancies. For one, the wig does not fit. It is too small and too tall and WAY TOO MUCH hair, I couldn't get his hat on over it. I also have noticeable sanding marks on the tops of the hip joints as well as the front of the waist on the tan hoof legs. He also does not fit the magnet shoes properly.

But thankfully he's going to be bald and never wear the shoes anyway, and the sanding's not painfully obvious.

I am loving the photos of new arrivals. I was feeling kind of bummed, as I hadn't received a shipping notice. Well, I am working out of state this week and I just had the opportunity to check my personal email today. It seems I got an invoice from DDE on Monday for my last payment on Pano, stating he was ready for shipping. So, I promptly sent off my payment and Paula has already shipped the package. I get back home in the wee hours Friday morning so I am hoping he will be delivered on Friday afternoon!

I'm so sorry to read about all your troubles Arkelle. I hope that FL makes it right for you.

thank you everyone!! i really agree that pupu always looks better with a nonfactory faceup. i don't understand why fairyland paints the whole mouth pink, especially when the mold actually has defined lip areas if you look closely.

 

Got my ns Pano this evening when my husband brought home the mail after work. Thankfully, the customs wasn't as bad as I feared. I'm still trying on his fullset; so far only see one small seam line on his forearm. I don't care for the wig; I'm having trouble figuring which is the front & back!

Poses nicely. I sure do hope FL sells the fantasy legs one day.

 

canada customs got him? thats too bad. the always do if i order from dde, but direct from fairyland they sometimes sneak through

I agree, while the RLF hands are FAR more dainty, they do appear a bit large. That said, they actually aren't big at all. Proportionally, an open hand is the size of a person's face (chin to hairline), but we are so used to seeing those tiny little hands on PKF, PP and RP that these look larger

The only magnets I got were to attach the ears/horns

Ooh, and clothes too! They're rather adorable. I wish they had released them at the same time as the Realfees themselves, rather than now. Mind you, maybe it's a sign that they definitely will do more with the line. When they were first released, FL made it sound like this would be a one-off, but since the booklet that comes with them says to look out for more things happening with Realfees in the future, and now they're making clothes and shoes, it seems like they will be producing more Realfees in the future. I hope so, at least!

 

Hmm I guess I just got unlucky in that the magnets for the bunny ears for my Realfee May weren't included. And I had made sure to double check everything.

 

still waiting for my May! i hoped she was going to make it here this week, having shipped on Monday, but since she hasn't even made it to Canada yet somehow...it will probably be next week when she gets here. I can hardly wait to see her beautiful face in person. Those of you with all BW Mays, post pictures, please, to help me wait patiently for mine to make it here!

 

My May could come home tomorrow O_O that would be REALLY fast (and it's getting my hopes up that she didn't go through customs >.<)

I got my pano full set yesterday, I got nabbed by customs and had to pay $90 to get him!
And after all that, I'm less than impressed with his full set his wig is way too long and doesn't even fit. His outfit is okay, I guess, but looked way cooler in the promo pictures. AND they sent him with those sparkly eyes when I specifically didn't order them because I don't like them. So now I have to find a wig and eyes for him when I was hoping I wouldn't have to.
I do quite like his proportions and he poses really well, probably the best out of all the fairyland dolls I've ever owned, so that's nice. And he fits in well with my realpukis.

 

Then we might get our Mays both tomorrow hide_freak! I'm crossing my fingers for you! It's my birthday tomorrow and May's a gift to myself. I'm so excited to open her up, it was so hard to not unpack her for the last 4 days *grabby hands*!

Haha, I guess joke's on me for paying more for the special eyes.

 

Those puny pipestem RLF arms make the hands look larger than they are, too. IMO, the chubby Littlefee hands are "right" for toddlers or primary school age kids, but I agree the RealFee hands look more like an adult's.

 

I got hit by customs too, but not as badly as I'd feared. Hope May does as well.

My Caliburn has spent his time trying on lots of clothes and shoes, so he's happy. We're trying to decide what pant length these rompers should be. I like knee length; my husband likes the shorter length as he said Pano would be wearing leggings anyway. hmmm

you know you are just going to spoil him anyway, so maybe one of each? i kind of like the knee length with those boots though.

 

My girls are here! I'm so excited!! I fell in love with my tan girl immediately, I've never owned a white skined doll before, I really like her but wonder if I should've got her in normal skin instead...she won't keep the wig she's in, or the eyes, I'm ordering both their wigs next week, and some outfits =3 name wise I'm thinking Mila and Miku.

Did you order the fullset? I didn't ask/pay for the special eyes with my Pano fullset, but she came with them anyways..

 

As per the fullset product page, if you ordered the fullset WITH fantasy parts, you automatically receive the premium eyes for free.
