We should definitely start writing in about shiwoo. I need one too!

 

I need advice, please! My mnf Shushu needs her cousin to be shelled and I'm trying to find a facial sculpt that's similar enough but not too cheerful (if that makes sense). She will be going on a NS a-line body so she'll be taller than Annabel. I need more minifees!

I can't help you with the other thing though. I'm not good with faces.

I want Ruth and Carl to come back, though I doubt they will as they are 'boy' sculpts...

 

If Ruth came back I would 100% finally get a boy. Same with Carl, but 90%.

 

I could easily make room for another Shiwoo around here!

 

I love my Ruth. I had to dye him myself because right when they started doing tan they started phasing him out. (prolly for the best he has a diff skin tone. I might re-tint his dye again someday because the camera makes him look more orangey than he is.)

 

I wish they would bring back Carl. Oh what i wouldnt give to have a tan sleeping Carl. Oh well, hopefully they'll release a minifee boy sculpt that's a bit more mature like Sircca! Also, I really wish Frappzilla would open commissions again soon, I have a mighty need for like, 3 new frap wigs. Lol #dollproblems

 

I’m still waiting for the human Sircca I ordered on layaway through DDE at the end of July, but I got her SP in the mail today, and am as gleeful as a child on her birthday. She’s lovely. She will be napping for a while. Welcome Home, Cece!

Has anyone else lost track of heads? I just found two that I forgot I had - elf flam and Ria (the one with the open mouth, I always get Ria and Sia mixed up).

 

Are you looking for blank or painted? I have a Nanuri 17, but she’s blank currently.

I don't have a MArcia mold yet so will show an old picture of Luka with autumn mood.

 

I had all my dolls tucked away for years, and even forgot about my Marcia until I thought about @Araeyla 's question! And she is one of my favorites! How could that happen?

Oh, and I quoted you because, OMG, she is beautiful!

Luka is another favorite, only I haven't got her. But oh wow, classic Fairyland sweetness! Yours is exceptional too!

I love Marcia, too! I have both heads as sisters. Even though she's got a sassy face, you can still manage to get some other attitudes out of her!

 

I'm loving all the Marcias! I unfortunately don't have a Marcia of my own. She's on my list to get eventually (my really really long list lol)

What I do have is my pretty Lilly Belle (Juri '10)! I realized the other day that I've had her for 7 years now! Which is crazy! Her wig hasn't survived too well over the course of the last 7 years. It's taught me that super curly wigs are both wonderful and terrible at the same time, haha.

Anyway here she is! Frizzy wig and all!

Is there anywhere to get a NOT peice of crap head cap for MNF?? Like is anyone 3D printing them or anything?

 

I was looking for the heads painted. I have Nanuri 17 and the head with the Korean? Writing in it but I was hoping to see what they looked like with a face-up. Thank you though.
Tina, your guy is delicious. I wasn't sure about those hooded eyelids but they definitely work in his favour!

Thought this might be important for some people.

 

I feel like spare headcaps for Minifee would be really tough. In my experience they aren't interchangeable between molds so if they were printing one for say a Chloe, it probably isn't going to work on a Shushu.

My Summer 17 girl is going to be on her way back home to me any day now from AngelToast. I just got the pictures of her finished yesterday! When she gets home I'll definitely take some photos to show her off!

And an angle that picks up more of the engraving, it's so delicate. I'm not sure when I'll get him a body, but he's a keeper!

 

@vicemage, the engraved head is lovely. Now I’m second guessing myself.

 

I'm glad I went for it. I know it's supposed to suggest a sugar skull, but my plan is to target more of a fae look for this head, whenever I get it a body. (Which will be the M-Line boy body, so I can scratch my itch for one of those but still have the ones I wanted for my new pair.)

I was a little worried since they shipped in less than a month (it's been almost exactly one month since I placed the order), but Jaeson's tan resin is lovely, with no jagged seams and very small sanding/gate removal marks that will all but disappear when I blush him. And Edmund's body is lovely, too, and looks good with his head even though they have a 2 year difference in ages.

 

@vicemage congrats on your boys... I just love that event head so so much!

I took some pictures of my Liria today, I know you've all seen her in this dress all too much but I just love how she looks in it, sooo I added some fairy wings in the spirit of Halloween. I wanted to take Halloween pictures of both her AND Chloe today, but I ran out of sunlight so I guess Chloe will have to wait. Figures since Chloe is actually dressed up as a witch!

@vicemage , I liked the engraved heads and didn’t want a sugar skull, either. If I’d gotten it I wanted to try a watercolor looking technique in all blues. Oh well. The plain head looked cute.

I’m happy! My Coco and Mimi have updated to “photos & editing” on AngelToast’s site! And I got my final invoice for my basic Sircca! I’m hoping the SoulinaBox eyes I bought for them get here soon.

Thanks for this. I decided to get the plain Minifee head but wasn't sold on the look of it. The 1/4 angle shot you have makes me feel better about the decision.

 

It definitely does have a cute profile. I'm scheming up ways to paint mine with the engraving, but I'm looking forward to seeing the plain ones around too!

 

Hi! I was wondering if anybody knows where I can find a minifee head adapter? The doll I just previously bought my second doll back in April and just now found out that she was a hybrid with a chloe minifee head with a doll leaves msd body.. (I was told she was a full doll leaves doll and they sanded off the company engraving. I unfortunately paid way too much for her.) Her head was held in place with a hook/wire that hooked on to the inner hook on the head cap to the main s hook that kept her together.

I sent a Summer 17 to AngelToast for a faceup recently. She's not back home yet but I'll share the pictures I was sent of her finished faceup!



As always she did such a beautiful job! I also on impulse bought this Summer 17 head: [click] She's also not here yet but should be soon!

 

I believe so...I'm just not too sure cuz I'm still a bit fresh into this hobby.

 

These are what holds the heads on for Minifees. It’s a turn key system as opposed to the s hooks that most dolls use to keep the head on.

 

Liselotte-Hoshi if you buy a MiniFee body it comes with the neck piece. Or head adapter or whatever you call it. I'm not sure if the head is not modded because it wouldn't be possible to attach a hook in a normal MiniFee head without the neck piece.

Perhaps you should take a picture of how the inside om her neck looks and post it. That will make it easier to give you advice.
