Sorry for the double post. I decided to purchase the oe Yumi. I was hoping some one would be able to tell me if Elfdolls WS matches Fairylands WS/NS. Thanks in advance.

sweetpoupee from what I gather, Dami and Yumi are the same sculpt, but different resin colors. Dami open eye, half-open eye, and reminisce are all Elfdoll NS. Yumi open eye, half-open eye, and reminisce are all Elfdoll WS.
When I ordered Ivy, I was careful to get Dami half-open eye, rather than Yumi half-open eye, therefore Ivy is Elfdoll NS, and she is a pretty good match with Fairyland NS, especially with her faceup, wig, and clothes.
Now, if you ordered Yumi open eye, she is presumably in Elfdoll WS...and from what I gather, that would be a closer match to Dollzone NS-pink or Doll Chateau NS-pink, for example. I hope that helps

I got a shipping notice too, yeah! My Soah heads will finally have a body ^_^ And I can't wait to see what Elfdoll is planning, hoping they will release new msd dolls soon.

Smudge, have you contacted Elfdoll? But I'm sure next week your Yumi will be shipped, when did you order her? My order was on 20th February and they shipped it out on 17th March.
And... my Yumi arrived today, yeah!!!

But there's something weird... her right eye is bigger than the left one Is this "normal"?

My Yumi also had eyes that were not the same size. But you can't tell once they have a faceup

 

She looks so cute! I love her glasses. I've not tried to contact them yet but I'll give it a go. My order date is 1 March but it was the end if Feb when I ordered my Tiny.

Dew_Drops, I think too that with a face up the difference will not be noticable, since I had never notice that while looking at a Yumi
Smudge, so if your order is later than mine and you also have a face-up, maybe it will still take a week or two

 

Only my tiny had a face-up. I'm hoping they will be dispatched this week!

 

My girls have been shipped! Hopefully it won't take too long to go through customs and they may be with me by the end of next week!

Has anyone else, who ordered recently, experienced problems with their tracking number. I had my email on Friday but the tracking number still doesn't work.

 

Yes, it can take a few days for the number to start working. You also may want to check that they didn't add or miss a number -- they've done that before too.

 

My tracking number still isn't working and no reply from Elfdoll yet, so can I ask for some photos to cheer me up?

 

I received my Yumi she is beyond cute ! She is real skin and I just love her color.

Thank you - it's been two weeks now and I'm starting to suspect that it's lost I've raised it with elfdoll and they are looking into it for me. The waiting is tough though.

I think I'm having a streak of bad luck with my elfdoll order. I received the tracking number two weeks before she was posted and now she seems to be stuck in customs!

 

Smudge, I hope your order come home very soon. If it's in custom they should delivery it this week or next one, maybe they're late because of Easter...

She's here - after taking an extra two weeks after I got the shipping notice plus two weeks in Customs! Her face is really shiny at the moment but hopefully I can find a make up artist to turn her into something special. I also got two free faceplates so I'm really happy!

I ordered the semi-closed eye version of Yumi and they sent me the sleeping one and the open-eyed version too.

My Yumi came with the Dami faceplate and now I am looking for a body for my Dami she is a realskin head from the 2012 september pre-order. Any suggestions ?? Please ? Yumi wants her sister I have a light tan Resinsoul Dan but the color is way of, its to brown. Elfdoll realskin has a more reddish undertone ?

 

That's it, I shouldn't have checked this thread. I caught the Elfdoll Lovely Dami Real skin smiling faceplate bug. I've checked Elfdoll and only headbacks are now available. And I cannot find descriptions of the lovelies' body either. Has anybody got privileged info regarding the next sculpts Elfdoll is going to offer for Sale?

 

Has anybody trouble with logging in?
It keeps telling me my user id or/and password is/are wrong, then when I try creating a new user id and password it tells me I'm already a user.

 

I've heard of people having trouble. Try emailing them and ask them to reset your password.

I've had this happen too and I've had to sign up again with another email address (I'm on my 3rd with them). One thing I've noticed -- if I use my iPad, it tends to capitalize when I don't want it to and Elfdoll's system is case sensitive. I'd check that first but Oka can reset a password if you let her know your sign-in too. Good Luck!

 

How long is it taking to ship these days? I bought one of the spare lovely headbacks that was available, and haven't heard anything since they confirmed my payment. I thought they'd be ready to ship?

 

I bought 2 in stock heads in February and it took about 2 weeks for them to ship out. In late March I ordered a Hiro tiny that hasn't shipped yet. Thank you Nancy_schroeder_ca and Icicle, they've sent me an email. I got access to the body measurements at last!

Well, that is a bit of a shock! Elfdoll told me that the Dami real skin smiling faceplate is discontinued and won't be done again though they will release new limited editions soon.

 

Oh wow they told me the lovely doll line would be discontinued. I just bought a Realskin body on MP for my Dami faceplate now my Yumi has a sister, if Elfdoll ever will send the headback I ordered in april . . . at least the two limited wigs I ordered for the girls in a Leeke Go are shipped !

 

I took some pictures today: a lazy sunday for Suki, Isys and Poppy (Elfdoll Yumi).

 

Has anybody already known about the NEW lovely dolls? I asked Oka about this, but she said it was a top secret and said nothing about it. I am now seriously wondering that are they really going to discontinue all the Lovely lines? What type of limited edition will be introduced? and when? Anybody knows?

 

I think we just have to wait and see. If they tell anyone what's coming, it's no longer a secret.

 

Hopefully, they will keep Lovely line and introduce more special editions!

 

I think Elfdoll purchases were delayed because many people kept spending their money on limited editions. So Elfdoll was forced to join the limited edition releases also. I had Lovely Soah on my wishlist for a long time and just got the head.

 

I went to Toys'r'Us today and bought Couria, my Dami/AoD hybrid, the budgie she always wanted.

 

I hope they come back with the Lovely Line. I really want a half-closed-eye Yumi/Dami but I'm a little late to jump on the boat. I wish they hadn't taken down almost all the pictures, too, because I'm having trouble figuring out what sculpts they have/have had and what the old to new body looks like.

 

so......still nothing on the lovely line and if they will bring back Dami and Yumi? I have been checking their site constantly but it doesn't look like they have updated anything in a long time :-(

Hi guys....wondering if any has ever had a sleeping dami/yumi plate modded to a half open eyed?

 

Yumi has been a grail doll of mine for a while. I keep seeing pictures of peoples dolls and really wanted one for myself. I've finally managed to snag a half eyed Yumi off the MP and I'm so happy!

Hi guys, wondering if anyone has heard any updates from Elfdoll, I emailed them back in August and they said there were releasing new lovely line dolls in September.....but the website has nothing :-(

Catalystflours, no, sorry, these are just some pics I got from the Elfdoll site when I was trying to decide which body to get. I can take some measurements if that would help.

There is an announcement on the Elfdoll site. The next new doll will be an Asian sculpt Lovely doll. They expect to be back in March, 2015, and the site will be down for awhile while they change servers.
