[Adopted] Be with you... 28cm Baby Doll

Are you not able to order through YG? I ordered Paprika through layaway with him and it went fine. He is very good at responding to emails quickly.

 

I usually do not get a response from DP when I email them - I usually have to call them. Not sure why that is. Strawberry is adorable, and these dolls are amazing.

 

There aren't too many owner pictures of Kiwi so thought I would add one. She is telling the story of the 3 bears,

 

"RAWR! I'mma gonna EAT you!" lol
That face is perfect for that!

 

Love the expression on this face, I do wish YG would re-release those 4 wonderful faces again.

 

I originally bought her for my DIL, who decided she didn't want her. I have really grown to love this little one. I think her expression is done extremely well. Have you heard anything about the Paprika you ordered? Really looking forward to seeing her.

 

Well I'd say DIL's loss, is your gain.

No, not as yet D, I am not expecting her this month. I think delivery worked out to be the second week of July, so not too long to go. Just have to be patient a little longer (something I am getting better at).

 

I have learned patience myself since starting this hobby, but I am a big fan of instant gratification!

Thank you Nancy - I made the dress using the BID pattern from here. I just used 3/8" seems for the side seams instead of 1/4" Antique Lilac. Georgiana's dress above is from the same pattern.

 

Thank you! I have saved the pattern! Now to dig the sewing machine out and find a great fabric and ,of course, so time!

 

Athena's (AlmonD) turn to say hello to everyone. I ordered her another wig, but unfortunately it is out of stock - this one is cute though it may not be her permanent wig.

 

They are here and they are perfect. Carrot (Clarissa) and Paprika who hasn't told me her name yet. My birthday is in a month so my husband ordered Grape and Strawberry for me for my birthday . Think I am done ordering these dolls until a new one comes out or until we start seeing owner pictures of Potato and she is even more adorable than her promotion photos. When I get Grape and Strawberry that will be an even dozen. It's a fact - I am totally crazy

 

AmonD makes a very pretty girl, love the hair. Congrats on your new arrivals too!
