How did I miss your post - she is adorable! I am so anxious to see his new dolls (hopefully tomorrow). I also hope that he offers some of the BWY dolls again like Carrot, Strawberry, Grape etc.

 

There's a little girl named Potato who is on the entry page at the moment. SO cute. No sign of MilkTea, I really hope he releases her as well.

 

I don't know what I was expecting, but this one is not doing it for me, it reminds me too much of my iMda Colette with that chin. So I hope there are others to be re-released along with the little Milk Tea.

How much did shipping cost to the us? Im thinking of taking advantage of the 2+1 offer and maybe do a split with some other people but it doesnt seem like the website gives you an estimate..thanks ^^

 

No, the website doesn't calculate the shipping, you need to wait and he emails you that after you order.

Shipping cost on AmonD was $38 to California, but multiple dolls tend to cost less than they would individually. I'm expecting the shipping on the 3+1.5 to be somewhere around $80-$90. But you can always contact him directly and ask...I'm sure he'll answer you right away, he answered my email from last night already.

Ordered Paprika with faceup and wig today. Would have loved to take advantage of the event but funds wouldn't stretch that far right now (saving for another RealFee).

I'm very lucky that the event started just after I'd sold two dolls! Definitely fufilled my yosd quota now!
Missed out on previous 2+1 events so glad I finally got in on one. ^_^

Paprika is special though, she's the only standard size yosd in my collection right now and she totally steals the show! Looks cute in pretty much anything I put on her.

I actually did the whole order through email with YG. I find it easier that way and he's very helpful and has very good english.

I have plan to buy 2 dolls. But I'm very curios about doll size. Title said its 28 cm doll but after I read detail it said doll height is 26.5 cm so I want to confirm about doll size and can they fit on Yo-sd cloths ??

This thread has been so quiet and there's not many people in the waiting room, so I have been wondering how many have actually ordered dolls this time?

 

I guess I won't be getting any of these cuties in the near future. Doll Peddler has a Carrot and a Strawberry but has them listed for $425 each, almost twice what they are originally - just can't justify that

 

Order from YG himself! I've done two orders through email with him and he's so easy to deal with!

 

I would love to, but I don't use Paypal and I couldn't get it to work using a credit card through email to YG and paypal. I am not very computer savvy.

You may need to have YG send you an invoice. Then I think you can pay through paypal without being a paypal member.

 

Thank you Nancy - that is what I tried when the event first opened, but I think both YG and I are not too sure of how it would work. Think I will just have to be happy with the little ones I have - I have 8 so I am not hurting for his wonderful dolls. I just wanted some of the older sculpts as all of his faces are so appealing and I love the body and how well it poses. I really like these dolls better than the Littlefees. I wish DDE would start carrying his dolls - maybe I will email them

Yes! DDE should stock them! The more dealers who have them the more likely I will be able to find potato when I can afford another doll. That pout is just way too cute.

Thanks for your answer. I also sent email to ask YG himeself and he said that its 26 cm doll. For the catagory name he said he have plan to make bigger size and smaller size. So I join his 2+3 event and now happily waiting for cut baby to come home= )

I emailled Doll Peddlar about layaway for one of these guys and the layaway is only 30 days, with a 50% deposit.. Kinda desperate but can't afford it in such a short time.

 

That is really short for a layaway. I was looking at them also, but was wondering if they weren't second hand as they aren't packaged the same as when YG sells them - no additional hands, nude in white felt - so I decided to pass them up.

 

Wow! Really? I did not know that. But I did notice they charged more than YG (or at least did the last times I was looking at buying from them), so passed them up myself, and haven't looked back. I got my little AmonD from YG through emails. Mostly just getting my password because I couldn't find it.

 

Doll Peddlar seems to mark up prices for everything. They definitely aim to make the maximum profit. Some of their processes I don't like, for instance if you want to reserve a Latidoll you have to pay it all off within a month....but those dolls take a year to arrive! They did let me do 3 month layaways on SD and MSD dolls. I think YG's dolls are an exception because they have customers who will purchase them outright and Doll Peddlar can obtain the full selling price for them immediately. They said they are pretty popular.

I have no clue why some of YG's dolls from them seem like second-hand . I got my Golden Kiwi from them and thankfully she came fully supplied.

 

I purchased most of mine from the also, and all came in the proper packaging with the extra hands etc - since YG just re-released some of these dolls I wonder if he would have shipped them already and then not being in their little fur containers, not having the little basic outfits, and no extra hands really made me wonder if they didn't buy these from someone other than YG.

Edit: Just went to YG's website - it appears that the extra hands are not being sent with the new dolls so maybe the ones at Doll Peddler are new - has anyone else received the doll/dolls they ordered?

 

You might be right with it being one of the new ones.. It does say "new SMJ and ECS system" on the sale page.

I really want Strawberry for silly emotional reasons, and I'm going to be utterly devastated if I can't get him. 30 days though! In my money that's nearly $100 per week, which is a bit crazy. Maybe one will pop up in the marketplace but it might be unwise to leave it to chance

The other thing was, I messaged DP twice through the contact page, and got no response for a week, and I had to ask on facebook to eventually get a response. Is there normally such a delay in communication?

I'm also in love with the limited Potato outfit everything about these dolls is wonderful!
