Actual Dreams About Your Doll

I had a very long dream that me and my friend, Jayden, were visiting a strange place. There was this huge mansion owned by an old lady who was rumored to be a witch. She had a display case outside her house, right at the road, open to everyone, full of all sorts of dolls... including BJD's! Some of the best kind!! There was this beautiful DIM model, I knew it was by them because of its fangs and it's faceup, and I knew I could easily... take it. I was conflicted, I knew it was bad to steal, but obviously the doll was being mistreated (as it was left outside!), and someone else would surely take it, so why not me?! However, I found out through Jayden that she only left them out there because anyone who took one... would be cursed. Although in waking life I am quite superstitious, in the dream I was highly skeptical. Knowing a lot about witches, I said there was no way she could curse me. I grabbed the doll and took it with me... later I was followed by a man who later turned out to be the devil himself. He disguised himself as my partner in business and led me to do awful things, then later he killed me... awful dream, and although it was not actually a dream about MY BJD, I still thought it should be shared.

yesterday, I sent first payment for a limited doll on the market place and that night & I dreamed that the next day, the seller contacted me saying he is actually a man, never had the doll and is running away with my money. D:
I was so panicked when I woke up! the first thing I did was checking my mails and paypal xD

 

The other night, I had a terrible nightmare. I don't remember all of it, but I do remember that I had sent Ezzie off for something or another, and she comes back with a terrible faceup drawn over her factory faceup, and on top of that, all the MSC was peeling off in little tiny squares! I was crying and freaking out because I was lucky that they were willing to substitute the default eyebrows from the Puki Sugar when I'd originally ordered Ezzie, and now it was all ruined.

 

I had a dream that I went to an antiques store. I remember a subtle carnival theme for some reason.

A middle-aged man was there, watching the weather on an old TV. He was also selling two dolls that were behind a glass case.

A boy and a girl--one was a Luts, and the girl I couldn't identify. I wanted to talk to him about the dolls, since I've got no one to talk to dolls about IRL, and it was a nice conversation. I didn't buy the dolls, but I left happier than when I came in. It's surprising 'cause I'm not one to strike up a conversation with a stranger.. :3

I'm gonna see if any Luts sculpts jump out at me, and whether he's the one I dreamt about.
edit: I'm pretty sure it was a Kid Delf Pine. He's on my wishlist, I should have recognized him. XD

 

I had a dream a few months back that I completely ruined my sister's doll. haha x)
In the dream I was posing him and thinking "wow hes so flexible" thats when I snapped his torso. -_-;
I didn't even freak out in the dream. I was just like "oh well..." >.<
I woke up so relieved it wasn't real.

 

I recently had a dream i ordered a Puki, but when it got here it was too small for me and i didn't like it's face but for some reason it came with EVERY faceplate o.o and i thought about it and sold all the faceplates and i got over $300. I was so happy i bought Pandora's body that arrived instantly and then i finally sold the original puki and his face and got about $400 : O
was amazing and so i bought the Iplehouse Amy :3 i was so happy but then i woke up and was like.. awh darn D;

 

I once dreamed i had a puki. It was 2-3 Times smiller than they really are Ô___o

 

I often dream of dolls. most recent dream I was trying to pack everything that is important to me in a hurry, so I packed Freya and I was trying to pack some of her clothes and shoes before time ran out, then I went to pack my bears and mangas and grab a handful of clothes for myself. don't know why I was packing or where I was going, I just knew I had to do it in a hurry because something bad was about to happen.

I had another dream about dolls last night for some reason.

It was daytime, and my mom came into my room, asking me when I was leaving to go to my doctor. She saw me holding a few of my dolls (which IRL weren't my dolls) and said something along the line of me wasting time when I'm going to be late. I told her that I was going to take a few to show my doctor, and I was thinking about which one I was going to bring. Then, I got really excited for some reason, and was like "I have five dolls - five of them!"

In actuality, I have 2... I guess I need five, lol.

 

I only have dream about my doll once,but I can't remember what happened is dream.T_T

 

I dreamed of Freya again last night. This time i was going to visit my aunt and I was taking freya with me (my aunt lives 5 mins away from me) but I forgot to pick her up before I left my house. Then my mum was trying to take me on a long walk, but I realised I'd left Freya and went back home to get her. By the time I got home I was too tired to go to my aunts. And thats when I woke up. Funny thing is, I am going to my aunts this friday, lets hope I dont forget Freya or get taken on any long walks.

 

I dreamed all last night of an adorable little Puki. I'm don't know what mold she was, but she told me she was a fallen star and asked me to take care of her. Most of the dream was about us building her a tiny house and making some clothes for her.

Needless to say, I've officially decided I need a Puki. XD

Once, I had a dream, I was in the most cutest cafe I've ever seen, when everywhere was beautiful ivy and shelfs with dollfie, I want to have cafe in this style one day...

Ps. I want to have dream with Puki too : D

 

I had a dream last night where I was being like stalked or something by this freaky woman, and the whole time I was carrying Rika around (pipos cheshrie) only she was like the size of a Dollmore Lusion Dahlia o.O I woke up remembering that i had a thought during my dream; "it would be kinda cool to have a chesire the size of a lusion O_o"

 

I had an interesting dream last night.
It was in my old, old house that I lived in 6 years ago. I love that house so it was fine with me. So anyways, I guess there was a doll meet in it, in like every room including the bathroom (where the tub was filled with someone's dolly crew all arranged and sitting). It wasn't hosted by me though. So I somehow obtained a Fairyland MNF Shushu. (I'm waiting for one in real life). But this Shushu was like a combination of the idea of Soom Mixi and Iplehouse Tatiana Trapeze edition. Anyways, she was made of clear resin for a torso and one leg. Also cyan resin for the hand tips and on the legs (the legs/feet were weird and big and...not feet.) and apparently on the nose. The face was lightly tanned.... and she was wearing the Trapeze Tatiana's outfit. The other odd thing was that if I washed her, it would all wash off. The cyan, the tan, and yes even the transparency. o.O

So I went into the other, smaller bathroom and began chipping away at the tan face"up". Then I realized there had to be a more official way to remove them. So I went to this guy in my house. He was kinda like a bum skater kid with long straight hair and face piercings, but was like a BJD guru and obviously not a bum. I asked him how to do it properly and he didnt have anything with him, so he began mixing some kitchen ingredients into a pan. It looked weird. I think it was a spicy dish. He had me stir it, but a particular way. Then he grinned and said "Yes, its turning over bright red! Its ready." and I said "Is this what you normally use?" and he said "... Lets just forget about this afterwards, okay?" so I didn't know if it was a risky way, or a secret way. Haha.

Then I looked at my finally-obtained Shushu (whos face didnt actually look like a shushu, but in my dream she was called that D: ) and wondered if wiping the colors on her was a good idea. I asked the guy out loud "Is wiping her a good idea? Should i do it?" and he started putting my "mix" into containers and said "No way. You bond with that chick and you get a new Shushu for your plans." in a tone like I was crazy to want to wipe a rare doll or something.

I said "AW MAN...but I tried so hard to get a Shushu for this. And I got this one. And I have no money left for another one. I was even already planning to get something after I got money, but I guess I could get her later and save for a shushu again...but the wait was sooooo long for my- ...wait. The wait for my Shushu....Thats right! I have a Shushu being made right now! I forgot, she's going to be here in ... 2 weeks! Oh my gosh, yes!"
Which is true. My shushu should be here in about 3 weeks though, and I only own an Iplehouse doll right now. XD And its true I have no money left and was planning to get something when I got more money. I was going to order a Resin soul Mei from Junkyspot. Perhaps I'll mimic this dream doll on Mei? :O and I know exactly where to get the Tatiana outfit....

 

That's interesting. I have never dreamt of BJDs. weird.... Maybe I just can't remember. lol

 

I don't have any dolls yet, but I was contemplating getting a Resinsoul boy. So I had this dream the other night that I was playing with the Resinsoul's hands, and I also had a pukipuki. ( I knew the pukipuki hands used magnets) I was taking the pukipuki's hands off, and the Resisoul's, and I think I even tried the Resinsoul's hands on the pukipuki. (The resinsoul was an MSD). But I was like the same size as the pukipuki. I decided that I really liked the pukipuki hands.

That day, after I woke up, I was browsing Fairyland's website for some reason, and I fell in love with the pukipuki piki.

 

This made me smile . It seems that the most unexpected people are the most important in dreams or something. Maybe it's our brains trying to make us not biased toward other people? Like, 'Don't judge a book by its cover'.

 

I dream of what tattoos I am painting next, the face ups I do and the world I am creating. But dreaming of the doll themselves I have yet to really do that.

 

My daughter, my poor dear daughter, dreamed that I'd had my Puki Elly for just a couple weeks. Somebody was admiring her and I gave her away!!! Just gave her away! And I do love her so (yes, both the doll and the daughter). Said daughter was abhorred and shocked! So was I when she told me.

She felt like slapping me for 'making' her dream it, I felt like slapping her for daring to dream it!

 

I am planning on dyeing a doll and have the supplies ready.... So I had a dream the other night about the whole process and now I am more apprehensive about actually doing the project! I guess my subconscious is trying to work out the details, but it's driving me crazy! And yes, I have the occasional dream about ordering a doll and it never comes! I'm warring in my sleep!!!

 

Whenever I dream about any of my dolls, it's always a bad dream. A nightmare...
They always end up hurt or broken...and it happens to Pyrrie most ;A;

 

I dream about them, but they're usually real and talking to me. I dream about Celadon almost every time he's next to me in the bed. Last night I dreamed he had a boo-boo on his eye and we had this exchange:

"What'dya do to your eye?" (I was actually worried but trying not to be.)

He blinked at my lack of concern and backed up a bit, flustered.

"Ha! You probably deserved to get socked in the face you ol' pervert!"

Yeah.

 

Taby 1234, or "Don't judge a book by its movie" LOL I read that on a hot topic shirt and thought it was perfect! XD Anyway, I had a nightmare about me kissing sha on his cheek which totally messed up his face-up then my little cousin got him from me and broke his fingers by playing with him roughly. For some reason, I could not move to help sha until she broke his fingers off.... I woke up the see sha just fine. I give him a big hug of relief. =D

 

I dreamed Elly was in a fire, sort of. We were in an area that looked like a disaster scene, and somehow she was in the ruins. I went to get her and somebody called me away, and I LEFT HER!!@! Then I was loaded onto a halftrack and they wouldn't let me off to get her. It was horrible!

 

My new kid came home yesterday, and I dreamed about her all night. Considering I messed with her from the time I arrived home until bed, I suppose it was not a surprise. Mostly I was opening the box and changing her eyes and clothes in my sleep all night.

 

I had a dream a while back, I have been waiting for my first real order for my dolls, I have usually bought in stock dolls from dealers so there was never a wait or at least much of one. I had a dream though about the dolls I was getting that they came in that next morning and I was horribly disappointed! I had gotten event dolls so i got one doll and two heads (impldoll) and they had horrible faceups, and strange wigs with them, very very anime painted and looking (which i dont really care for even tho i like anime). it was horrible, and the heads that i had gotten for free were just the front of the heads like masks for the doll. It was all strange and befuddled though.

 

I've had a few dolly related dreams. Most of them are set in an antique store or second hand shop in which I stumble across a doll and buy it instantly. I've only had one dream about a doll I actually own and it is slightly creepy. It was a small part of the dream, I am laying down and my Issac is climb up my chest like a spider monkey. It didn't scare me, more like a what the heck feeling.

 

I had a dream that my doll was alive and was speaking to me in korean.

 

I had a dream I was ordering my first doll. I was so excited. When I woke up I called my mom and never ordered...

 

I've had several bad dreams about mine. Such as accidentally setting one on fire or dripping acid on the face. I actually like having bad dreams about them -- it's such a relief when I wake up and realize nothing's wrong. I've also had dreams about my parents buying me dolls I don't want. (My parents never buy me dolls, and I wouldn't want them to because I'd feel guilty if I didn't like the doll.)

 

I actually had a dream last night about someone taking my dolls and sending them back to me piece by piece like some tacky 80s hostage ransom film *lol*

 

Doll related dreams happen to me regularly! Mostly they're about finding a vintage grail doll for really cheap, lol, or about making stuff for them. I get some great ideas that way, at least when I remember them!

Well as it appears that there is already a thread on this topic (which for some reason I could not find when browsing), here's my dream:
Last night me and a life-size living version (meaning as an actual person, no joints or anything) of my doll-to-be were somehow stuck in an apartment and the city was taken over by cleaning zombies (yes, you did read that correct, I said cleaning)... I remember one of the guys trying to break down our door was holding a feather duster and another one holding some cleaning spray. The only thing missing was that they weren't saying staaaaains instead of braaaaains. It wasn't very scary, actually even the the dream it was quite hilarious. I don't remember if we escaped or found a cure or something, but I do remember my doll wearing her hair like the wig I just ordered the other day :P

 

I've had 3 BJD related dreams...
1st one was the night after I got my first BJD, I didn't connect with her very well, she looked slightly different to the pictures and she creeped me out.
In the dream I was in my bedroom and my parents had a few people around, My mum had given me the doll in christmas present box, I opened it then put her down on my bed, I though to myself she's creepy, I want to return her. I went upstairs for whatever reason without her and when I came back down she was twisted and wrapped in my blankets and I panicked I went through the blankets and pulled her out but her head was not attached to her body, I searched for her head and when I found it as soon as I picked it up half her face crumbled inwards and I was horrified. I hid the head from my family because I didn't want anyone to know... weird.

The second dream I had after I showed my Nan my doll for the first time, she loved it and she stared at it for a long time.
In the dream I was doing something and I had left my doll with my Nan for a bit and I was looking at a note I got from somewhere on it said 'I love you.' followed by examples of how to do faceups and many different pictures of faceups (shocking how my subconscious made a load of fabricated faceups) anyway, suddenly my nan rushes up to me and says 'It's amazing! come see, your doll is alive!' I instantly rushed by to my doll and went up to her, she was smiling and and blinking and I was staring in awe and I smiled at her.

My third dream was after ordering a new wig and shoes for my doll, I've been working hard on making her costume.
In the dream I recieved my packages but they had the wrong things in them, two BJDs and an Obitsu.
I was thinking they are so pretty, I wish I had the money for them. I was thinking for a moment maybe I could keep them. Then I looked at my doll at thought 'no I can't keep them these must be for someone else, they might be worried sick their doll has gone to the wrong person, besides these aren't what I really want'.

Well my weird array of dreams for ya~ XD
(By the way I did warm up to my doll and I love her very much now)

-When does this happen the most, like for instance, when you are waiting for one, or just got it? When I just got it or waiting for something.
-Is he or she featured as a doll, or as a person? Like, do they have joints showing? How big are they, doll-size, human size or perhaps gigantic? As a doll, with all the joints and normal size.
-Do you ever dream about other dolls than your own? Perhaps one that you know you'll probably never get? Yes, I dreamt I was sent a Volks, the reeeally anime styled ones. I like anime but I'm not keen on having one.
-And of course... What do you dream about? Do you have great adventures together or do you just dream about dressing him/her up or something? see my post~

 

I have nightmares about my dolls all the time, or other dolls xD
I'm still waiting on Edgar my DZ Mo to come in and I keep having dreams he comes in with like funky purple eye make up that looks terrible, or my mom gets over excited and opens him before I get home from school *shivers* xD Its terrifying.

 

I had a dream a few nights ago that I put the Supia Muse I'm saving for on layaway. >< IT WAS AWESOME. Actually, that's how I ended up knowing her name long before I'm able to order her--in the dream she arrived and was named 'Ariadne' so now I have a cool unconsciously-inspired doll name. >U>;

Aww I feel bad for you... I haven't had any nightmares about dolls yet (knock on wood), but I bet it would feel awful if somebody did something horrible to your doll in the dream, or if a beloved doll suddenly would get scary.

BTW I just dreamt that I was a doll and making a fur wig for myself xD

 

I just had my first doll dream. I don't know why, but I was arguing with my mom and she had my doll, and I think something spilled on the doll and my mom was trying to make it better and clean her but she ended up wiping half of the face-up off and I woke up. It was a nightmare! I always worry about my doll's face. I love love love her face-up and I know that I could never recreate it.

 

I think I may have posted this in an older thread, but my dolls made an appearance in a daydream I had. I was feeling pretty stressed at work so I closed my eyes for a minute and tried to imagine a happy place for myself.

The place that came to mind was a wide, open field with a single cherry-blossom tree in the middle. The wind was blowing and everything, including the grass, was covered in pink petals. It looked like pink snow. I heard children laughing; I turned and in the distance, I saw my unicorn twins running around - playing tag.

When I turned back to the tree I could see Vesper (my LS Emily) standing under the branches waiting for me. In the daydream, I don't think any of them were actually dolls. When I approached her, she smiled and kissed me lightly. Then I turned around and Vesper wrapped her arms around my shoulders and rested her chin on top of my head, and we watched the little ones playing.

When I opened my eyes I did feel calmer and very at peace. I felt that I belonged to my dolls as much as they belong to me in real life. I felt loved; in that place there was a strong sense of family.

 

Kymera, that's so cute! It's nice if your dolls make you feel appreciated (even though every psychiatrist would probably disagree with that :P). We work hard for them after all!

 

A couple weeks ago I had a dream about buying a doll head, and when it got here, it had a massive seam down the middle of his face:

I do get the occasional doll dream, but not with any of my own dolls. It's always with a doll that I would have liked to have gotten at the time but couldn't, or even more recently of a doll that doesn't exist yet.

What I remember of the recent one was my mother and I were shopping at some super big supermarket kind of like a walmart. We had just checked out and were leaving through the exit doors which for some reason led to a room full of dollie related stuff that we had to go through before going outside. I rember stopping to look at the stuff and seeing a fullset Dollfie Dream of Mami from Puella Magi Madoka Magica just standing there with a stand, I'm still fairly certain her pricetag said $369, which is a steal for a limited DD. There was even a second outfit of hers sitting nearby in an unopened bag, and other dolly things. I had considered just taking her, because we had already checked out and I'd have to walk all the way back to the register, besides we were on our way out who would notice right? Who would put this kind of stuff in an exit anyway? But alas I decided not to grab her because that's still theft and that'd be wrong.... Then I woke up.

I'm still kinda confused why my brain used that character. I'm not really into Madoka, though the series is neat but I've only read a small portion of the manga months ago. I would have thought my brain would have used one of my favorite characters from another series. Or you know, a doll that actually exists, that I've seen before.

 

I had a wildly chaotic dream last night, so much stuff happened that I don't remember it all and I can't even connect one moment to another (but I remember that it made perfect sense when I was dreaming)... It had something to do with an invention made by my self-made girl Ala, who's character is a renaissance scientist... Something about her working in her lab and my little hujoo Ichigo was very upset about it for some reason, saying it was dangerous or mean or something, but I (everybody was more or less human size) didn't understand what she meant, and my Unoa-to-arrive was also there again, but she didn't seem interested, she was studying some dance moves and Ala got mad at her for dancing in her laboratory... The rest I don't remember xD

 

I haven't had any extensive dreams but I keep dreaming that my doll has finally come in the mail. It's a sad day when I wake up and realize it was just a dream...

 

I've dreamt I got my main dream females (The Volks f-01/Four Sisters)..... I woke up and was sad.
A different time I've dreamt my Bobobie was human sized and I went on a walk with him!
A different dream the dolls that wern't expected for another month came to me early!
And finally I had a dream I got an Iplehouse Arvid!

 

Too many nightmares of my dolly! The first nightmare I had his hand fell to the bottom of the pool, and my worst nightmare was when half his face turn into WOOD I would love to experience a good dream with my doll

 

Yepyep, had a peculiar doll dream last night! I dreamed that I put him in his box to go to bed, like usual, but that in the morning he ended up on my pillow in a different shirt on than he went in the box with!
I suppose he's telling me that he'd rather sleep on the bed than in his box.

 

I had a dream about my first doll, Ilterin. He kept trying to get me to go to the carnival with him. He wanted a giant pretzel.

 

I dreamed something similar the other night! I dreamed my doll came, and we had to go pick him up at the post office. I knew it was a dream because we weren't in the right apartment, and things were a bit strange... but I was still sad when I woke up. I want him to get here so bad...

That's such a funny/cute dream... XD

 

Somehow that sounds really hilarious xD

 

It was definitely something else. Mainly because we had kind of switched roles. Yeah he was human and I was a bjd. No clue where the pretzel came in, since I don't eat them very often.

 

When I was still waiting for Louis to be delivered, I often dreamt of his resin self - of me unpacking him, of his face-up, things like that. But since he's based on a character of mine I've known for the longest time... He keeps appearing in my dreams as a real human boy. The way he did even before I decided to go for a resin body for him. These are very gentle dreams most of the times, featuring him and often his boyfriend (Sometimes I'm the other boy, taking on his personality. Which is simply fantastic, there's so much love all around ). There's this nostalgia to be felt in the air, like a music-box melody, everyone feels at ease, like they're finally home.
These dreams are of the most relaxing experiences I've had so far, so I really hope there won't ever be an end to them.

 

so I have this table in my room, and my doll was sitting on it. and my girlfriend accidentally knocked it over and poor Nohawka was slingshotted across the room D: luckily he landed on some blankets and wasn't damaged at all (this was about a week after I got him D: )but that night I had a dream that his ear broke off. like RIGHT OFF. it was horrible. I woke up so releived.
