About OrientDoll So-type

Kelly fits So Ji Nicely, The little jellies shoesare so cute. The Madam Alexander, Doll house Doll clothes are iffy. Some are too big but some are perfect. Lilli is the little girl on my Atavar. I love my So Ji.

 

I make clothes for her size. You can see them in my for sale album in the first line of my signature. Although I'm using different models, they will fit the Orientdoll.
Here's a sample of the Scallop sundress and bloomers also comes with matching top.

This is a commission for SO Ji.

 

Does anybody know if any of the Little Bratz stuff will fit SO? (I know the itty Bratz have VERY odd proportions.) I'd like to have some stuff that isn't frilly, cute, childlike, or all-American. (Most honestly, I'd like to have some Goth or punk tiny stuff.)

It depends what sort of thing you want. If you check the link in my signature it shows the fabrics I offer. I'm not sure I can do the Goth or punk looks as I have just the designs shown, but you're welcome to take a peek and let me know what you think.

Little Bratz-no, Baby Bratz-tops yes, bottoms maybe. Little Bratz stuff doesn't even fit Elfdolls for the most part, they're very skinny. Baby Bratz things fit a wide range of dolls.

 

Hmm... I have a few questions about this doll and the company

1. How much would shipping be on this tiny?

2. How long does the shipping usually take?

3. which other doll company clothes will fit this mold?

I'm looking into getting one for my girlfriend ^ ^ She likes him as much, if not more than me

 

Shipping seems to be about $25. Sorry thats the only question I can answer at the moment. Seems like without faceups they ship really fast... with, well I'll let you know when I get mine

 

My shipping was $32 for a head and different body to Massachusetts.

Shipping took about 2-3 days once it was shipped.

I'm surprised that a crochet dress I made for my Nari-pon using a Kelly doll fit incredibly well on So. As others have said, Kelly clothes fit - tops and dresses fit all like shirts - pants depend - so far they are tight but if she's standing, she could be fine. Tommy shoes fit her best. So far she is the only one who fits the Tommy shoes perfect - all others are a little loose. I have some baby brats stuff I haven't tried yet.

For a punk look, try Living Dead dolls, ususally on ebay stores. The dolls are pretty disgusting, but someone -- Moytoy? had a set that fit her nari pon, which are Kelly size.

 

Ah yeah....I've seen the Kelly-sized ones - I never thought of that. I might have to see if Suncoast has any 75% off today and check ebay. Ooh!

If you get the dolls without a face-up, you will get them fast. I ordered 2 bodies last week and I had them in 3 days.

The naripon crochet clothing fits So really well. Unfortunately, Notdoll only stocks them once a month.

I ordered my Vampire Ji and she came in four days! Shipping was $23.16. I adore her! Tiny bear made her an aubergine wig and she looks like Lady Bacardi now instead of Rumpot! She has some Kelly clothes but usually wears a tank top off a special Buffy the Vamprie Slayer doll and some shoes from an Only Hearts Club doll...which run a bit large but she likes to play dress up and they do stay on. The Only Hearts Club (is that the right name? it doesn't look right...) bikini fits perfectly too.

 

I just noticed that the So bodies are sold separately. Could a Nari pon head be put on the So body? Would the resin, either white or normal, go with the Notdoll crystal rose resin? Are the necks and head sockets close enough in size? I adore my Daisy and Pansy, but I've never liked their odd looking little bodies. Can anyone compare the two for me?

Okay, never mind. I checked the comparison pictures and the dolls don't fit. Except that if they both can wear Kelly clothes, how come the bodies are so different? This size thing is really confusing.

 

Hrm, I'm a little worried now, heh. I ordered my girl with a faceup, but she got shipped like, the next day. O_o; Maybe it just doesn't take that long to paint a tiny. ^_^;;; (Either way, ack! I figured on having a couple of weeks to get eyes for her, not on having like, three days. XD;;; My poor Dollfie Plus might be blind for a few days... ^_^; )

 

You're okay, that same thing just happened to me, and the makeup was fine. I think they may just have already-painted heads sitting around.

 

I didn't see the Vampire head with a body, so I ordered just the head.

Mine arrived in just days, as well.

Which body does the doll come with? I'm worried about ordering the boy body and having it be a different colour.

I ordered my vampire boy in parts and had no trouble at all with the colour match

 

I've ordered two Ji Vampires (in parts) with about two months between the orders. You can't tell the difference at all in the resin colour ... I could interchange bodies and heads and you'd never know.

Darkwood ... my experience with Bratz Baby stuff is that the tops without defined shoulders fit well and the bottoms fit well. I've had stuff like sleeved t-shirts wind up being tight, as the So body seems a bit wider in the shoulders than the Bratz Baby body.

When I look on The Orient Doll site it looks like the resin on the body is super snowy white!

I got my head with make-up. Do you think that will make a difference?

She came today! Yep, she has her faceup, and it's an adorable one, too! ^_^

Ahahahaha, I'm afraid I'm going to break her! XD I thought I'd have longer to get her eyes so she just has unakite beads put in there... Looks nice and creepy, actually. She's a strange little one anyway... ^_^ Put her in a Dollfie Plus wig which is a little big... Have some weird tentacle-y fur I want to make her a wig from, but that'll take some time. X3 She's wearing a Baby Bratz outfit so she won't be naked. X3

I ordered and immediately paid for a special Vampire Ji because the out-of-stock graphic was gone on the website. I ordered white skin w/faceup. She is my mother's Xmas present and was shipped out within EIGHT HOURS of the payment confirmation.

The out-of-stock graphic is back.

I had to hustle to get some Kelly clothes off eBay for her. I suspect she will arrive next week.

I hope they included green eyes.

i'm getting married in september, and to incorporate our hobby into the wedding (and have a long-lasting reminder) the two tinies are going to be the bride and groom for our wedding cake. i'm planning to dress them up as mini versions of us.

(and can't forget i have an entire year to play with them until then hehehehehe)

I tried doing this with a Ken and Barbie as King Arthur and Guenivere with them next to the cake - and I forgot them at home...

They fit in eyeglass cases (if big enough, both in the same case) so you can smuggle them with you on the honey moon and not worry about someone remembering to take them back to your house!

I ordered a SO body and Ye head last night...I went to check on order and got a tracking number but can't find where to go to check on it...USPS just says there is no record of it...EMS has no area to do a track and confirm...

can't wait to see her...

 

It is through USPS but it takes a day or two to get in their system.

 

It seems they add a tracking number right after you place the order - it won't work until they actually post it. The moment it hits the system, the EMS site has better tracking than USPS site does - you can find out when it hits the plane and arrives into the country - it's quite exciting.

It's good they are getting faster - when I orderd my So, it took exactly 30 days without a face-up - and I checked that tracking number every day hoping it would show up before they updated my order to shipped.

 

I use several of the Kelly pieces for my 3 Orientdolls. I do find, though, that many of the dresses fit more like a blouse. A bit short for the dress look. The jelly shoes are a good fit, the solid type shoes tend to be on the small side. I have 2 girls and 1 boy from the So set. I love them.

I was only able to find Bratz kids clothes on dolls today at Wallmart. How about the Baby Bratz - do you know if those fit? The tiny little dolls with bathing suits looked like they might work but the Kids stuff looked too large. I didn't have mom's doll with me, however, to compare visually.

 

i didn't take my dolls in, but i got one of the bratz kids dolls since it came with both a pants outfit and a skirt outfit. one of the shirts didn't fit (which is why the boy is shirtless), but the other fit perfectly... and the pants are a little tight at the waist (they keep coming un-velcroed) but the skirt fits perfectly. the pants also were slightly too long, but they were already rolled up, so i just had to roll them up one more.

i thought about the baby bratz stuff, but the legs and waist seemed like they might be too thick. i think i would suggest taking the doll in to compare those, but it's possible that they could fit? as long as you aren't wanting something long (like pants or a long skirt).

 

oh cool. I like those Bratz Kidz clothes. I'm getting a Wishel, though, and I think they're just a bit cubbier, so they might not work for me.

 

I just ordered my SO Ui tonight. I was looking through all the brats clothes today when my son decide he needed to go to ToysRus! LOL I was looking more at the baby Brats sizes, but now I'll have to grab both and try them on when she gets here!!!

 

I just got some glass eyes for my Ye from pupapadoll and they look great. I got the 6mm size.

 

Where can you get cute wigs for these lil guys? I wanna find a cute wig able to be in pigtails possibly? Either in white, or purple shades. I really wanna get a vamp ui girl for my goblinish char. I really love her she's just so cute. I was looking at bratz baby cloths and my gosh they look so tiny... those itty bitty shirts O.o they really fit?! I've never seen tinies in person before so =P I donno how to size or portion some.... I also cant seem to find kelly cloths anywhere! Only kellies they have at stores around here either dont have shoes (cuz they're ballerina and have painted pointy feet, from movie) Or wizard of oz dolls lol...

Where can I find kelly+shoes outfits? Oh also, anyone have pics of them in 6mm eyes?

 

The Kelly stuff is highly available on eBay; I just picked up a few $1 shoes there. The shoes are damned tiny; one of them fits on my fingernail. Can't wait to see what my Ui looks like when she gets here. ^_^;

I just ordered a tiny wig from Tinybear! She does custom dying so I'm sure she could make you whatever you need
