A whimsical arrival (Dreaming Doll Ryuna & event head Bella)

So, on a whim, I put Ryuna from Dreaming Doll on my Christmas list. I don't remember how I came across the Dreaming Doll site, but I was taken with Ryuna's sweet face and especially her smile. However, she wasn't really intended to be my next doll, and I removed her from my list - unfortunately, not before my spouse grabbed the URL and ordered her.


I'm not sorry to have her. I'm just not certain what I'm going do with her. And I now have my first floating head (I picked Bella because I thought she and Ryuna looked like sisters, with Ryuna being the more willful of the two. I guess we'll see.)


I must say, I like Dreaming Doll as a company. They were pretty responsive answering questions posted to their Q&A. She came very well packaged with some nice extras. Only problem is, my youngest cat seems quite taken with her.

Artemis was fascinated. I think it was the resin smell, which was quite strong at first.


The eye sockets were really difficult. They're quite narrow on the outside, and recessed within. I struggled for several minutes to get the included glass eyes in:

You know, as long as I had my hands in her head trying to get her eyes in, I never even noticed that. Derp.

 

Yup! Quite the time-suck. But I enjoy spending time with my Miis. Maybe we'll meet on a Street Pass Relay weekend. If you see anyone from Sapphos Island, it's one of mine.
