This week I've been playing with little Amelie. Because I didn't like the styling I thought I would for her in the beginning I started to do what I always do, which is let her root around in the mountains of clothes I make and restyle herself.

They grow up so fast!

Thank you @Jareth ! I love Leekeworld sculpts too. She's the only one I have right now but I believe she's the fourth I've had over time
Also pretty sure the fabric was a fat quarter at JoAnn's one of my favorite shirts as a kid was a glow in the dark constellation t we got from visiting McDonald observatory

 

Thank you @galatia9 I agree, she's got taste and attitude I like the Paisley dress too but I can't help but think it is too low cut for her... Not sure she will wear it again but it was good for a photo set!

 

Thank you @animemom I really like her, I think I mostly really ended up needing darker hair for her than everything I tried before. She is comfortable and safe here to keep designing herself new outfits and going on adventures

 

Oh no don't say that @animemom (playful tone) I can see some overall similarity I guess, though this head is definitely really leekeworld-y in person. Minifee are not something I like at all for myself and I think it's basically this: I like this doll but she treads dangerously close aesthetically to something I really don't like. But I'm invested in her.
I think when I inevitably repaint her again a different attitude to her will make the difference for me.

 

Yeah I agree. I like the kid dolls a lot, and making them cute colorful dorky stuff, or otherwise pretty and spunky. They have a fun energy.

 

Aw thank you @Gamma Ray it's such a little thing but even taking a doll on a walk around neighborhoods is somehow magical and exciting
