Very nice to be here and meeting you all! I go by Envy online. I have been trying very hard figuring out the image linking mechanism so I can create a profile and start posting, but guess I am so bad with technology so the photos will be coming even later I started my collection with my SD Liz and soon after became a Volks addict. Recently that passion expanded to anime-style dolls like Puyoodoll (and of course Dollfie Dream because Volks knows how to get me). I have been pracitising faceup on and off for a year and love transforming dolls into a new unique look. The hobby is a major creative outlet for me and it keeps me going. In the coming year I am hoping to start styling wigs and practice sewing more as well, hopefully I don't overcommit myself! In my short time here I have seen so much talent and it is such a wonderful learning experience. Please feel free to reach out to have a chat about anything, any time!
Welcome to the Den, Envy! I'm immediately in awe of people who play around with face-ups. I'm terrible with make-up on my own face, applying it to one so much smaller is daunting. Also, I generally like the face-up mine arrive with - they had to catch my eye somehow, right? The nice thing about this hobby is that it can be patient, even if you yourself aren't - the doll and the project aren't going anywhere, and they'll be there when you can devote your time to it again. We look forward to seeing pictures when you figure it out!
