Ok... so I don't know if this is aloud, but I'm pretty sure it is ^^, So i want to make a doll! I've always wanted to sculpt something, so i thought, why not something that i'd like if it turned out? heeh... yeah so i want to make Beast Boy from Teen Titans the show on Cartoon Network. I just love him! But, i have a problem... I'm not a drawer, so i can't draw the "blue prints" or what ever.... sooooo i was wondering if some of you nice people would maybe... wanna do it for me? I know I know, who would want to do that? Well, i just thought if you were bored or something... well there is no use in not asking right? I just want to make him an MSD I'd say... uhhh around 40 cm or so. I'd like him to be smaller than my DoC Too which is 43 cm. ^_^ Um, i also want to be able to buy a wig for him... and thats it! haah. yeah... my birthday wasn't long ago! heeh... and i got a new job! so... if ya wanna make a present... then the little drawing would be just lovely! or you can tell me how to do it on my own, but i'm not at drawing. i'm a doodler not a drawer _-_; thanks so much!
Do you mean just like a front/back/profile drawing of Beast Boy, or full-on blueprints with joints and stuff? I personally don't mind doing a drawing, but something super detailed would take more time... Edit: OMG, SO AWESOME. After searching online for like, half an hour before I posted this, I was going to give up, and of course, I had the picture already. *headdesk*
omg awesome! Thank you Tamamushiiro. that would help... but i am looking for like, something that has the joints. not anything to crazy detailed because i don't want to ask to much of someone, but i don't think that drawing is the right measurments and such to a doll. But it really will help! i just need one that i can put my styrofoam up to and carve. or that i can lay the peices on and see if it is the right measurments. ya know? but i'm not asking that of you. it sure was nice of you to do that for me
Doodle the joints right on a copy of the awesome official turn-around of Beast Boy. You can see where the joints should go on both full-on & side poses. Draw where his head should be under the hair. Enlarge the drawing so it matches the desired size of doll. Voila, a diagram you can match the doll bit up to. Ann in CT
hey thanks ann in CT! but, how do i make it big... and will it all fit on a peice of regular printing paper? well i guess i could split it into seperat peices for printing ( my home printer is effed up so i have to use a school one). can i use paint or something to size it? humm... thanks a bunch.
I enlarged each view of Beast Boy to 40cm for you. Keep in mind that there is a bit of space above and below him, so he will end up being a bit shorter. I can make the images bigger if you want. Good luck! http://always-you.net/1.jpg http://always-you.net/2.jpg http://always-you.net/3.jpg
hey thanks kali! i didn't think anyone would help me out but you all are being such nice people. ^_^ thanks!!!!!
oh no! but i don't want to be one of those people that gets everyone excited and then lets them down!!! >.< this is going to be my first time trying to even make one! omg i'm so scared. but it'll take a while. i think i'm going to buy some super sculpy sunday ^^)
Uh, don't go to the Michael's in Hamburg, they're out. They've had the same box of dried, crunchy, opened Super Sculpey since last month. You could try calling though. The one on Nicholasville near the mall likely has some.
