Faceups A Redo for one of my Favs (DC Snow Nymph)

I finally kicked myself in the butt hard enough to repaint one of my most important and sentimental dolls, my Doll Chateau Snow Nymph named Melody









Her old Faceup had really faded over the years, and I got new eyes for her for my birthday, so she needed a refresher. I’m really happy with how vibrant she is again! The old faceup is from 2016 and I used Citadel Purity Seal on it, which sadly did not have a UV protection component in the formula.
She has a vibrant orange mohair wig and I love matching eyebrows to the intended hair color of a doll.

A little bit of backstory:

This doll is actually a reshell of my first doll, an Obsitsu Gretel (from 2011), and was also a wedding gift from my wife back in 2015, so she’s very dear to me. She’s also the first OC I had created back in 2009 to RP with my then-new-friend-now-wife (we officially became a couple in 2011), so it felt appropriate to have the DC Snow Nymph become the new shell for Melody.

Thanks! The freckles gave me a surprisingly difficult time, because I use the splatter method but I kept over saturating the cheeks with paint, or removing too much, etc… took me 5 tries but now I’m happy with them
