Narrative A night to set things right (Bimong Narae 412 & Souldoll Vito Lester)

This photo-shoot tells an abridged version of a longer chapter I’ve written recently about these two.
- Lianda is a six hundred years old vampire (hence the red eyes) and little sister to Dracula himself.
- Stephen is the Supreme Sorcerer and an expert neurosurgeon in charge of Earth’s defense.
Pictures were taken with my husband's mirrorless camera for a change and it shows. Still, the orange light from the streetlights was too intense and even with edits I still didn't quite like them all (only a few that I'll post elsewhere), so just I turned them to black and white to accompany this short story.
It's usually hard for me to share anything dolly related, but it was such a happy experience to take them out and take pictures of them (even if I got a few stares from my neighbors) that I had to share them. I hope you like them.
(English is not my first language and I'm sure I make lots of mistakes while writing, so please be kind).

It’s been a long week for Lianda and the Doc. Both have secrets to keep, even from each other, and they’ve bitterly argued about it. On this winter night, they will try to make amends.
“Yay!” Lianda celebrates while sitting behind him. “And where are you taking me?”


“Is that my jacket?” Stephen doesn’t answer her question, as usual, but arches a brow. “I thought I'd lost it."
“It suits me better. And you never wear it anyway, so it’s mine now.”
“You’re right. It suits you.”


“Now, where are we going?”
But Lianda gets no other answer except the sudden humming from the engine and, before she can even process it, they’re buzzing through the streets and getting far away from the Sanctum.


They cross the Williamsburg Bridge then rush towards Queens and she still hasn’t the faintest idea where he’s taking her. The ride alone is enjoyable and the adrenaline of the speed starts to override the uneasiness they’ve both been feeling for the past weeks.


When they stop next to a popular park, Stephen suggests to wander inside, but Lianda has something important to say so she switches places in the motorcycle.
“Hey. What’s going on?” She asks, placing her arms around his neck. “Talk to me.”


“Is this what you had in mind for us?” He carefully caresses her cold skin under the jacket. “For tonight.”
“Nope. But I like it. The ride was far more interesting than a portal could ever be.”
A soft smile enlightens Stephen’s face.


“Don’t tell me, then.” Lianda gets a bit closer to him. “But don’t push me away either.”
“That wasn’t my intention.”
They know a walk through the park won’t solve their problems, but it’s a great excuse to have some time for themselves and talk.
