This little guy has been on my worktable for a while (early october) The hands will need multiple tryouts because with or without wire, they're really prone to breakage <_<" Glorious tiny profile! love that nose to bits testing! more testing.... The arm peanuts will be replaced by single joints unfortunately. They don't align well and when I adjust them they snap<_< His face is as big as my thumb nail @_@ How does Sailor get that fabulous skill of making beautiful tiny faces all smooth? I can't really see what I'm doing on his
After filling his upper legs some, he looks much more gracious! Against my better judgement I'm making another head for this same body (a lamb @_@ tiny movable ears? Tiny magnet slots for tiny horns oh my god but think about the adorableness)
He's fantastic! What kind of clay are you using? I love that picture of you holding his head. I think tiny things with this much detail are so cool.
Thank you du-hast, It makes me happy to hear that C; Cleave, I'm glad you say so haha I work mostly with epoxy since it's sturdy enough for stringing tests and for heavy sanding/carving. (yes! it's like he's a tiny candy in that picture, is that weird a thought?)
Thank you Earill, I'll need it ;w; He's been hanging out with his older brother while they're both bodiless SLOWWWLY his face is coming into focus but I can't work well into clean details <_>" I did this to myself
Thanks Pandakeks, I'll have to make them a tad sturdier if I want them to survive anything LOL" But I love the shape already I also made the structure of the Lamb head but it really doesn't look like anything yet
Heh thanks Dnero Willow's left ear broke with sanding though....... Working on it soon After this test with the lamb ears one of them broke too, its like a new trend wtf
You take a macro with a good camera and everything hurts I need precision zoom glasses or something to see what I'm doing. (The ears broke a few times so they had to be remade)
Aww, what a sweet little face though! Get yourself one of these: View attachment 579 Gives great light directly on the thing, and if you get one just like that, with an extra tiny ultra-magnifier, you can do even insanely fine detail stuff no problem. Only issue I have with mine is it fogging if I breathe on it, but ya learn how to breathe out the side of your mouth instead.
@Glimmer, thank you! @HystericalParoxysm, man my father uses one of those! I'll keep an eye out for them, thanks for the awesome suggestion!
