Faceups || A faceup after 5 years! || [Elfdoll K]

Hi everyone! How are you all doing? It's a weird time we're living in right now, eh? I hope you're staying safe wherever you may be.

Here's a backstory; I first joined the BJD hobby back in 2008 and I actually took a long break from around 2014 onwards to focus on my studies. I even sold off my first SD (kinda regret it, cuz he's discontinued now ) but I'm happy to say that I've finally got the time and money again for this hobby! So of course my neglected (and only) doll, my Elfdoll K, needed some attention aka an updated faceup. Lemme know what you think! This faceup was done last year, although it still feels recent for some reason...

All forms of critique would be appreciated! I personally think I could've made his eyebrows more symmetrical, but then again, whose eyebrows are actually symmetrical anyway?

Oh my gosh, reading your comment just made me teary-eyed I can't believe you remember my Namu!! Thank you for always liking my dolls all these years! He was lovely, but was also a hybrid so his body was yellowing at a different rate than his head, and his hands didn't match either. It bugged me Ah, but life goes on and I have 2 dolls on layaway now so hopefully they'll bring me more happiness I hope you'll find your Namu someday so I can admire him!

Heheh yeah, the Gem body made Namu look so bobble-headed I wasn't a fan of it either! I liked his proportions on the AOD body. Ah, now I wonder if my Namu is still around. Now I'm wondering how he looks like...

Aww you have two K's!! I literally just started a layaway here on DOA to buy another K I actually wanted another Elfdoll boy body for my Aden since he's a floating head, but a bonus K head didn't sound like such a bad idea either Ah, Mir is so rare these days. I love him too! I wish more people posted their Elfdoll boys these days, I just love seeing them. My K has 14mm Leekeworld glass eyes if I'm not wrong! It's been many many years since I bought it. I'm glad to know he looks ok in it!

Hey no worries, I have a Dollshe Saint and a Granado Raguel on layaway right now! (And I guess the Elfdoll K on layaway soon too It's dangerous just staying home and browsing through DOA, I tell you!) I'm at the last payment for my Saint but I don't expect him to be here anytime soon And I just made the first payment for my Raguel and 3 payments to go! These two are my long-time original characters, unlike my Elfdoll boys who I've made characters for after I got them!
