I always love your work, thanks for sharing, your dragon is amazing - what are his/her nails made of?
Wow! He's amazing! You're amazing! ^-^ His curves are so fluid and his face is fierce. So alive. The 4th pic is my favourite )
oh thank you guys - your kindness always makes it a more worthwhile... glimmer - i've been working in paperclay for so long, but i found a box of random odds and ends of polymer in it (must be at least 5 years old) - so i just started grinding it all up and mixing it together - the body is mostly sculpy extra firm grey with some translucent and nightglow fimo mixed in, and some liquid kato clay to try to rescue it (boy was it crumbly....) the teeth and claws is a mix mostly of translucent prosculpt, white kato clay and translucent fimo (with a bunch more liquid kato clay in it) - unfortunately i put too much liquid kato in it and it was really sticky so it was hard to shape it. i think it should carve though, so i may cut these out, redo them oversized and then carve them down. depends on how long i stay interested in him. cloudedmind - thank you --- i kind of had it in my mind that i was doing a japanese dragon, somewhat like the wind dragon in Spirited Away, but my daughter told me no way - i guess i've been studying fx stuff so much the styles have blurred in my mind...
Wicked! He's wonderful. You do such good work. I'm fairly new here so this is the first time I've seen your work. WOW! Thanks for sharing. I may have to work on a dragon of my own. You have inspired me.
