She could stand on her own right when I first got her, but after a few weeks couldn't anymore? I'm not sure why, but it seems like one of her legs is mysteriously somewhat shorter than the other which makes it difficult. (I had to switch her feet because they came on the wrong leg when I got her, lol, so maybe that had something to do with it? I am not at all a stringing expert so idk.) I just use a stand for her though. I'd be really interested to know if restringing helps at all with yours though!
