It's great to be tiny in this house. You get to stand on your friends. And thus a wonderful (maybe one-sided?) friendship is formed... ~~ Swallowtail (18cm tall) is Bardo Research Omi-Kopto. The anpiel (51cm tall) is Dream Valley Achelous human. Justinian (~63cm tall) is Dollstown Mui. If the pics are broken, here's the whole photoshoot (with additional shots) on my BJD blog. Thank you for looking!
These are so cute and sweet. I love the idea of them being in the same world and interacting together.
These are adorable! I love the interaction between them. Gets to be on the same level as them~ (or even taller!) The way Swallowtail climbs all over the other two reminds me a bit of a kitten playing.
The last panel almost makes it feel like a Peanuts comic! Anpan, you were supposed to take her with you!!
Thank you @midolls*melissa @oubliemoi @nyaaain for the comments! I love putting all my dolls into the same world, it's creatively stimulating -- and keeps me from starting new doll groups at all scales. And the anpiel knows how to introduce new friends to each other ... or perhaps, rid itself of burdens...
An adorable scene, I love this tiny doll she is the cutest (the tiny kimono seems so well done too !)
@Lutopienne Thank you - Swallowtail is very cute. I sewed her kimono using a Monster High pattern from Requiem Art Designs and it saved my life! I have no idea how to sew this tiny by myself. @saraquill Thank you. It was challenging, mostly because Swallowtail is so light - 44grams / 1.6oz - the anpiel is over 10x heavier than her. I use a lot of weight-based cues to pose and balance my big dolls, and none of that works with her because she's so light. But the others don't have trouble supporting her weight, so I just fiddled until she stayed put. Tinies handle so differently from 1/4s and up.
