Wait Times 8 Months Impldoll

What dealer? I plan to buy a impldoll body too but I didn’t think the wait time would be this long

 

Sometimes. I never ordered from BJDivas but I had a doll that hit at least one year and I had to switch the sculpt bc of issues. And she arrived quickly after that.

 

Yes, that's pretty normal for them. A few years back, I had 10 months wait through Divas for Impldoll.

I've had between 3 and 6 wait through Alice's Collections.

 

Based on what people are saying in the Impldoll wait room and discussion threads, Impldoll's wait times have increased over the past year as their new bodies have seen increased demand, leading them to stop offering their custom resin matching service (I was interested in one of their bodies but decided against buying after weighing up the wait times).

From what I've seen users say of BJDivas's wait times and communication, they seem to not have many staff, take a long time to respond to messages and take a long time to place orders. Some users have reported in-stock items as taking over a month to ship.

Unfortunately, the situation with your wait time could be partially due to Impldoll's current situation, BJDivas's situation, or a combination of both.

 

So, many dealers wait to place an order until they have reached a certain number of dolls/amount of money spent, especially because of the long turnaround times. While I cannot remember the posts, there have been a few where it has been revealed that BJDivas is one of these dealers. (I am not saying if it is right or wrong, but merely sharing information) So, unless the doll is limited, they most likely waited until they had enough of an order to send it in. This can prolong your wait time, and there is no real way to find out just when the order was made. You could try contacting BJDivas to ask when the order was sent in, but chances are, they will take time to respond to you because of their limited staff.

 

It happens with some orders, especially if you ordered face up, but they do deliver eventually, you can check my story and other people's stories in impldoll topic somewhere near the end, we waited more or less a year. Impldoll gifted me a doll head for the wait, which is very cool of them.

 

it took me a year to get an Impldoll body thru BJDivas in 2022. it took me just under 2 months to get an Impldoll body thru Alices Collections this year.

i have always had significantly better experiences and pretty speedy wait times just ordering either directly from Impldoll or going thru Alices Collections. i personally do not order anything thru BJDivas anymore as each of the three times i did it for 3 different companies the waits were EXTREMELY lengthy and much more so than ordering from anywhere else.

 

I have ordered two 1/4 girls directly from Impldoll via email, one blank and one with a custom faceup. The blank girl arrived within two months and the one with the faceup was just shy of three. This was last year though, during their Plump body/Susu release and again ahortly after that (maybe a month or two?)

I recently placed an order with them for just a body; I paid for it in early June and it hasn't been shipped yet; I can keep you updated about my body if you want?

Honestly though, ordering through email directly with the company is my preferred method of ordering from Impldoll; I just make a list detailing what I want, and within a day (due to time zone differences) I have received a reply with order confirmation as well as a PayPal invoice to pay. Doing it this way you can't get a layaway though, but that hasn't been a problem for me since my purchases have been just over $200 each time and I've managed to save up.

 

I see reading your comments you ordered through BJDiva. I had ordered a different doll body through them and it hadn't arrived even after a year and a couple of months. I just decided to go with a different body from Newcloversinging when it was on sale.
I knew people said it would be long but didn't expect that long!

 

Can I ask you if the shipping is free or you have to pay it?

 

I paid $262 for my body with all the additional hands and feet as well as shipping. I live in Norway though, so shipping is always expensive here. I ordered her in Brown skin, so all in all I don’t think shipping was more than $30-40
