Wow, very nice! He's got a great look to his face - lots of attitude! And his body is looking very nice and sleek thus far. Can't wait to see more of him! Also, I love the picture of you holding his head. There's so many pictures of dolls here, sometimes with the artists' hands holding them, but it's so nice to see the actual artist too.

Ok after many re-doing and not knowing how I want his torso to look it is almost done. just have to finish an few thing in front then work on his back .Only thing I'm not quit sure how I want his torso divided in a 2 or 3 part . He's already arching back quite far as it is - I think either a 3 part torso, or reduce the bend of his body, so that he can look more natural when hunching over. LOVE the detail on his body. Really beautiful faint rib details. Really elegantly done.
Thank you so much for feed back ^__^I was thinking 3 part as well but was not quit sure. your probably right 3 part would probably be best so he can sit hunch over enough so he can sit up and not flop back but standing he can have his "perfect posture" im glad u like the faint -ness of his body Im not a fan of prominent muscles just not my thing.and u rarely see if at all a 70cm size bjd with a more elegant body there typically eathr REALLY buff and it scars me or too skinny and that and have all the ribs and stuff in there poking out O.o
He has become quite remarkable. I am drawn to his not-quite-smile. His hip bones are quite fine as well. My vote would also be three part torso. Part personal preference, increased mobility, and I find it easier to cast more small parts than fewer large ones.

All parts layed together . His leg is obviously not all they way form down . My company bought doll right is 60cm Dresden will be about a bit over 70 I'm guessing . So there is a little issue going on with Dresden’s head. It seems the clay I had made his head out of doses not like the resin primer causing his face to crack so bad he will have to be remade. The clay he is originally sculpted out of was natural clay (Crayola air dry clay) have tried to fix it twice but it’s not going to work. Unfortunately I do not have the skills to sculpt a exact enough of a duplicate head from scratch ,so what I have done is made a mold of the old head an am in the process touching up imperfections of the new mold . I had originally started making him and the body out of the air dry clay, because the consistency of clay is what I was used to working with. But I did end up switching to LaDoll because of hearing how strong and durable it was. And they were all correct. I should have looked in to it more before I started …oops In a way I’m kind of grateful this disaster has happen because there were many things I wanted to fix. Like evening things out and to get some things more symmetrical. Unfortunately most of his head is made out of the air dry clay like his face. I had a while back redid the sides of his head and his ears and with the LaDoll and there was no cracking on the parts that were LaDoll. So it has to be something with that air dry clay because it did it twice and both times the results were the same. The new mold is LaDoll unfortunately when it dries it shrinks so it needs to be added on to make is head the proper size. It’s kind of a bummer but you live and you learn. here is my progress as of recent of the head re-make and his body .I feel he is coming along nicely with out and more disastrous problems . Did more work on their heads and the chest joint today . I really need to get better lighting. To me, it looks like the thighs are fine and the calves are shorter. Then again, I like leggy, so that could just be me.

I think he looks very nice! Have you tried to add feet (or just something in the right shape and size) to get a better idea of proportions for the legs? Sometimes the lack of feet can play tricks with proprtions. Especially since the joint ball ads a little bit of length as well. It is possible that the legs you have there are just fine.
Thanks thats what i was thinking he might just need his feet to make them look more proportionate .I have not started them yet but i have his hands last night his feet im going to start soon and well have to see if it still don't look right its never to late to make his legs longer .
