Vindalootoo in the last thread you mentioned thinking that the tan may come back periodically. I'd been thinking something similar. Its been a big hit and I think Fairyland would do good switching off and bringing back their tan skin like, I dunno this would probably be conservative, but one a year with certain lines and switching the lines around. Mostly because it sounded like a compromise between tan all the time and no tan at all especially if they have any issues with doing it (which we'd heard before, hadn't we? For the chocopukis and the tan chiclines they did?). It would just be really cool if like, you just had to wait like a specific bit of time and you knew tan would be coming back....

Yeah I had been struggling with what to call her. I was torn between Fey and Elliana(she would've been nicknamed Ellie for short) and I just couldn't decide. But everyone kept saying how they loved her puffy wig. And for a while I was nicknaming het puffy because I didn't have a name yet. Then I thought of a tv show I watched from quite a while ago called Puffy Ami Yumi and boom Yumi stuck. Lol

"Santa" looks a tad displeased with this turn of events! Considering the speculation about the periodic release of tan, I have decided to wait on the tan Pukisha and just get Cupid. Hopefully the wig and eyes I've chosen for them will work. Anyone know how long it takes Fairyland to ship?

 

Leo Pheonix, you can estimate the shipping time using the dates on the doll pages (usually 40 or 50 days, depending on which item you're ordering). Keep in mind that it's business days, though, not total days, and it's holidays observed in Korea. www.timeanddate.com has a business date calendar I've been using that can be set to South Korea for calculations, which is helpful for working it out accurately!

 

Another thing to add is that with the many releases of tan skin it looks like Fairyland has been a bit backlogged (at least, in the very beginning they were! It took over fifty days for my puki when the page said thirty) - events like this have that effect after all! A lot of orders and then the fact that they had momentarily discontinued various lines and then put back up others that have been out for a while.....well I'm expecting you might be waiting a mite longer than it says on the page. If you check the Fairyland waiting rooms, you might get a better idea!

RE: Pukisha faceups: Here is one Eff17 had up for sale in the MP. I thotI had a copy of the beauty white one I lusted after---but this is one wonderful too. The beauty white one had gorgeous, subtle striping on the forehead.

 

That's a gorgeous faceup, and so is the WS one. Too bad they don't have a shop for commissions.

Hello for all Pukipuki fans here. ^^ I'm quite new for Pukipuki's, I bought my first as a "filler" for my tan DES order earlier this year, I thought I wouldn't keep her.. but I fell for her totally. Here's my Pukipuki Ante. ^^ Her name is Butterfly, but her friends call her Bug.

Darkwind, Hehe, Elly seems to have fun with wrapping paper. Be careful, otherwise you'll wrap yourself in giftpaper. ^^

I have no idea what the kids got. A surprise package came last week from Washington! Soooo, the kids all get to open their gifts tonight (Christmas Eve). My daughter's already volunteered her light so I can take pics of the Grand Opening I (er...) They can hardly wait!!

hehe originally my friends told me to go with realpuki b/c i like dolls that can do lots of poses, and they said that pukipuki's larger size could get in the way... well my realpuki is gone and now i have 3 pukipuki and a 4th on the way.

of all my dolls, i think i love my pukipukis the best. There's just something wonderful about their size. I them all.
