    1. Great group photo Gherkin I love your gray Quintus and Aiden - they are so unique. I think my Bastian (Bat Boy) and Hester (Quintus) are a lighter shade of gray than yours.
      So happy you snapped him up - isn't he just the cutest little demon!

    2. Thanks Gherkin! Isn't his color lovely? I didn't realize until I ordered him, that Aiden-5 in Moon-Gray is limited to 50 dolls. Like I said before, I feel very lucky that he was still available with his beast hand and old 26cm body in that unique color. He's even more adorably dorky in person than in the photos. I love him! :aheartbea

      Wow! I had no idea Bat Boy would make such a cute girl. She's a haughty little thing! And, so cute in all that pink!

      Thank you, Geo-Earthling! I guess I'm now officially a member of the Aiden Club. He's such a unique and adorable sculpt. Oh yeah, I know I'm very lucky to have gotten him on the old body. I love the proportions of the original 26cm body. (Hopefully, 5Star will realize what a mistake they have made and bring back the old double-jointed body eventually.)

      Wow! Really? You want to request a photo of my Sunnydale crew? Are you an old Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan? Because, if you are, I would be tickled-pink to share a photo of my Sunnydale crew with you! I am the biggest Buffy nerd-girl around and I've basically established a group of YOSD-sized tinies to cosplay the characters from the Buffyverse. Hopefully, I'll get some time this weekend to round-up Chibi Buffy and the Scoobies for a group picture. Thanks for asking!

      Thank you Merlin's Mom! Yeah, he is the cutest! I had been debating and debating whether to get him, or not, for the past few weeks. But, when all these changes hit, I knew I had to get him. I was actually kind of surprised when I found he was still available. I just don't understand why 5Star tinies aren't more popular? They have such great sculpts!

      Here's another photo with a close-up of his face-up. 5Star really did a lovely job on it. Those little teeth make me want to squee!:whee:

    4. Wow! Geo-Earthling, that's so great! It's always such a treat to meet another Buffy fan! Can you believe that this year marks the 20th anniversary of when the show premiered? OMG! :o That makes me feel so old, but they are still my #1 fandom. (My heart never left Sunnydale :aheartbea)

    6. Yep, that's me! And a white Angelo who will hopefully soon be getting a twin...

      I was just reading all the posts about the site changes, and I'm surprised by what I'm hearing! I really hope I'll still be able to get the old three-part 30cm body, I was still holding out to get a WS Tong Tong along with an Amy for a friend... Agree with the comments about disappointment to see them apparently going backwards... :(

    8. It appears from their site that the old style body for the Star10 dolls is the only one that will be available so you should be okay.

      He took these glasses from my Victor (IpleHouse - J.I.D. Basic Boy - Vito), just to try. Two years ago, has not returned. He says that they are more suited to it... ;) :wiggle

    25. Thanks! 30 cm "Amy", white skin (it's off-white, I like it) with company face-up yes. Mine was well done. By the way, she has elf ears. Denver Doll Emporium still has one in stock, FYI.

      I don't think the promo photos by 5Star doll do her justice!

    26. Thanks so much Geo-Earthling! :hug: They are not perfect, but they are as close as I could get them without special-ordering minimee YOSD-sized sculpts. (Which would have cost a fortune, if I could even find someone to do that kind of custom order.) They are more "in the spirit" of the characters, and the right costuming helps, too. I did have Spike's leather duster custom made for him, because it just isn't Spike without his leather coat!

      Buffy's Slayer Scythe I borrowed from my 12" Sideshow Buffy action figure. I also collected most of the Sideshow Buffy 12" figures and all the props and weapons that come with each character are perfect scale for the BJD tinies.

      So happy they made you feel like fangirling! When it comes to Buffy, I'm always fangirling! Thanks again!

      Oh yeah, Kelli, I loves me some Winchester Brothers! :aheartbea I haven't really had a chance to do any real hunting, yet. I've been so focused on my Sunnydale crew. But, I think Sam will be the really hard one to find; his face is so long. And, you don't really see long faces in YOSD-sized dolls. And, Castiel's mouth is so distinctive, that's gonna be a hard one, too. The only thing I know for sure is that I'll have to have a 1/6 trench coat made for Cas. You can't have Cas without his signature trench coat and blue tie.

      If you go hunting, let me know what sculpts you come up with for Sam and Dean. I'd be curious! Thanks again!

    32. I wish I knew - they went to the new generation body that is single jointed. The hands on the new body are very lovely, but they don't pose too well. My Yami and Aiden5 came on the new body and it was quite a surprise. They are so cute though so I love them anyway.

    33. Yes, stellarphenomena, the new dolls look unbelievably cute! But, because of the body change, I'm not interested. My 5Star Maggie came on the new body, and I really don't care for it. I'm hoping with all the changes 5Star is going through, that perhaps a new 26cm double-jointed body may be in the works. (I can dream...)

      The 30cm body, Body "A", with the 3-part torso hasn't changed; it's now the default body for the 5Star-10 dolls.

    35. Earlier in this thread there was quite a bit of discussion regarding this perplexing change. We are all mystified as to why 5Star chose to drop the double-jointed 26cm body. :?

      I posted photos of my Jesse with the original 26cm body and Maggie with the new body.

    37. It appears that at this time the only body for the 26cm is the new single jointed one. Maybe if they get enough feed back they will reinstate the original body, but for now the single jointed one is the only on available:(

      Yes, this is my handmade.
      Wig on a "hard caps" (it repeats the line of hair growth on the head), on which are glued short tress and then had been haircut in using a razor blade.
      This is my first experience (hence this wig looks sloppy). I'm going to remake it in the future.

    42. I'm so dissapointed about the double jointed body being gone :( I was ready to buy Maggie but that was a deal breaker for me. It looks like the 30cm and up has the double jointed body though, am I correct on that one?

    44. I love the tong tong sculpt but I'm not crazy about the horns and paws. I think I just prefer natural human looking dolls. They don't have them listed on their website but I wonder if I could order an extra pair of human hands with her.

    45. The horns are magnetic, so you don't have to worry about that. Don't the Tong Tongs come with human hands anymore? When I got mine (years ago, though) she had the human hands on, and the paw hands were included, but not "installed." You may want to email and ask if she also comes with human hands.

    50. MichelleAK, your dolls are adorable! Your TongTong is especially lovely.

      I have a TongTong on the old B body, too. She came with both kinds of hands; paws and human hands. Last time I ordered a 5Star doll, I asked 5Star if they would sell me an extra pair of hands, to replace the "tiny" hands on my TongTong, and they were good with that request. The new hands fit perfectly.

    52. TongTong came with both kinds of hands: paws and human hands at no extra expense. I did not have to buy extra hands.

      I only bought extra hands later because the older dolls came with itty-bitty hands, which I hated. 5Star has since discontinued those hands. So I got her a new pair of hands when the opportunity presented itself.
