Any additional info/backstory: Sammy used to be part of a previous kpop group called OKBI. When that group began to dissolve, he signed onto Sarang, his current group. Sammy has been in love with the idea of being a performer since his youth. Despite being recruited into a group at 16, his family is less than thrilled at his career path. Thus, Sammy strives to prove his success to his family and takes defeat quite hard. He excels at singing, rapping and dancing, but due to his age and height he is often stuck playing back up to the other members. To the public, Sammy will appear professional and charming, and he enjoys playing to the fans. The other members of Sarang joke that Sammy has an ego the size of Asia. Beneath the confidence and self-esteem he exudes, Sammy actually enjoys poetry and song-writing (although he's only shared any of this talent with Min-Jae). He hopes to have a hand in writing future songs for Sarang. Although Sammy jokes he'd love to leave the group and become a solo act, he has a feeling he would miss the other members too much to follow through.​
