What fits Iplehouse nYID girls?

My Emilia should be coming soon! I haver a lot of stuff to try on her, but since I got the Glamour bust I doubt any of the SD stuff will fit. I will still try it though, along with some EID stuff that Iple hasn't shown yet. Thanks for starting the thread

Tried this outfit from on my girl ( I can try and get some pics together) The shirt fit perfectly on the medium bust! Which means we might be able to get away with SD16 tops. The dress fit as well, zipped up and tucked nicely at the slim waist. I think the real test is going to be finding pants to fit these awesome hips

I tried this EID sized dress on my girl and really would not recommend it.

While it fit her glamour bust well enough, in the hip area it was noticeably loose, too long in the arms and it was a bear to get the elastic at the end of the sleeves over her hands, not to mention it left black stains on her wrists where the elastic rested. (Luckily the marks came off with a magic eraser.)

 

Hmmmm, I'm curious. I've never owned a Dollfie Dream, but I know they're sculpted to be curvy anime girls... And I think the nYID body was meant to be similar to that, in a way.

I wonder if any DD clothes could fit these girls? If I remember correctly, the DDdy is quite curvaceous. I might be able to convince a few people local to me who own DD's to allow me to play dress-up with their clothes, but that won't happen for at least a few months.

I have a few items to review thus far.


We'll start with what doesn't fit.
These Gloves from Ebay are much too small for her elegant and long fingers. I have the same problem on my human hands with most gloves >_< Go figure. I ended up having to cut the fingertips off of them in order for her to be able to wear them at all (which is what I oft do with human gloves).

Now for what does.

EID Grunge Leggings in Black. - these fit well when I got them except for being a little loose in the waist. This is actually due to the fabric being a little less stretch and the larger girls' waists being a smidge bigger AND the need to fit it over big ol hips. I fixed it by taking it in just a little on my serger. . . this made it a tight squeeze over Charlie's hips though.

Dollmore Cauline Leggings - These fit nicely. I'm truthfully not the biggest fan of the construction of Dollmore's clothes, but I do like the designs a LOT. The Cauline leggings fit well. They're a little long, of course, but they go over dem thighs just fine. The one complaint I have is that they have a big elastic in the waist which sort of makes it a little bulky.

Knee High Black Boots From Ebay - Fit her flat feet PERFECTLY. Almost too perfectly 0_0. The only problem is that they don't have any extra oversizedness to help her stand. They look pretty darned fabulous though. . . as you can seeee

SID Man Black Pin Shirt - Obviously too big for the nYID girl, but it's kinda adorable to see a girl in an oversized shirt. I do wish the fabric were softer, I may try washing it a couple times to see if the poly will actually decide to soften up, but I dunno.
The shirt has to be rolled up twice in the sleeves, and it's very baggy on her, but it reaches just to the top of her thighs. For the pictures I pinned the collar open as well.

Fits pretty decently. Tight with those "loops" but they can be placed off the shoulder to work better.

This is the under-skirt of a Dollheart SD13 outfit. Yes it fits perfect once you got it around her waist, but I almost tore it trying to get it over her hips. I would not recommend SD13 skirts without elastic unless you're willing to risk tearing the skirt. My skirt didn't tear but came very close to! The shirt is a see-through Sadol boy top. Not sure if its SD13 or SD16... Fits like a dream!

IAMDOLL overalls. They looked kind of funny with such a huge chest. Might look better with a small chest or medium? Doesn't do her figure justice unless you have a girl like mine who tends to wear baggy clothes.

Dollheart SD13. Of course it doesn't fit lol. I tried! I think a small chest might work, but not sure. The boobs cause the dress to sit a little high on her body. Jacket seemed to work decently. Boots are boy Dollheart riding boots and fit perfectly. I tried a few Dollheart boy jackets that seem to work, though I think would look better on a smaller chest. Will take more pictures later!

 

I absolutely love her in the overalls!. She looks so CUTE in them!

 

My next girl will be medium or small bust, I hope they fit, but not really sure. Meaning not sure if its the width of the back/shoulders or the bust causing the SD13 dollheart stuff not to fit. I DO want to get some SD16 stuff from Dollheart to see if they fit. I'll update here once I got it in hand.

Oh and this Dream of Doll skirt fits like a charm now. I think I stretched it out a little yesterday, lol and they slid up her hips without a problem. Perfect fit. It looks absolutely amazing as if made for her. It comes with a black lace "train" at the back you snap in. The boots are Dollheart boy boots. Look a bit too big for her but work out real well. Wig is Leekeworld.

This was made for an sD16. My Erica is a medium bust. Fits really nicely, and tucks in around the waist.


Here's the full set. No problem getting over the hips, but it doesn't tuck in super tightly at the waist. I still think it's a good fit, and bodes well for the medium bust and other SD16 dresses.

Since the SD16 tops fit the M bust, I wonder if the Dollfie Dream clothes made for the Dynamite body would fit the Glamour bust girls?

 

The rib cage is so tiny on DDs in general, DDdy clothing might still be tight. Most of the SD16 tops that I've tried on on my DDdy either fit pretty well or are slightly *loose.* And I think I tried to get Sasara's DDdy outfit on a SD16 and it wouldn't fit because it was too small.

 

I know the feet are the same size for all three of the larger iplehouse bodies. But I am curious how the tall boots that are designed for EID will work on a nYID, does anyone have a nYID and tall boots to try? I am thinking they might look all wrong because of off proportions

 

Good question Pirate Wench... maybe we should avoid the EID high calf boots? I won't risk buying long boots for my girl yet, I'm gonna wait to try on her the ones I have in that size and see.

 

Hia, waiting on Bianca to arrive and I was curious as to know if anyone has tried or is familiar with Crobidoll accessories?
I'm specifically interested in the wigs and the shoes. I'm under the impression that nYID head is 8-9 inch, however these wigs for 9-10 inch are fantastic (http://crobidolls.com/shop/step0.php?b_code=B20080525084138&c_code=C20080525084214).

That outfit is so pretty and flattering. What would you say the fit would be on nYID large bust? I am unfamiliar with Volks clothing, but on that item page it says something like "[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, Times]For SD16 Girls, DDS (L Shapely Bust Only), DD (L Bust Only), DDdy". Would I then have to purchase DDS style for example?[/FONT]

 

DDS is Dollfie Dream Sister, the smaller (50cm) version of the Dollfie Dream. You probably want to stay away from clothes that are DDS-only, as they will be way too small.

As I mentioned earlier, all the DD girls have very small rib cages (only 16cm for DDdy, which is smaller than the waist on the nYID girls). Even if their busts are huge (and they are), their clothing is still quite tiny. On my DDdy "normal" bust, at its very widest point, it's only about 26.5cm. In comparison, the Large bust is 27.2cm and the Glamour bust is 28.2cm (the Medium is 26.2).

Basically, the DDdy busts are the same size, NOT larger, than the nYID Medium bust. Unless the DDdy clothes are stretchy, I doubt they'd fit the Large and Glamour busts.

I tried this SD16 Dollheart dress on my Emilia and was pretty pleased with the results.



She has the glamor bust. Zipping up the back did require a little patience, but on the whole, the dress fit quite well.

I also tried her in some Glamor Eve underwear from Dollmore-- this set is unfortunately not for sale on their site, but it fits their Model girls too, so I would except that most of their Model doll underwear will work, though the stockings might be too long (the Glamor Eves are shorter).

Finally, I tried her in this Glamor Model F Rococo outfit. It fit better than I thought it would, but the skirt is too long and the neckline is kind of loose. I think the regular Model stuff will probably fit better.

Now for a little contribution.. This is Paige, my Emilia with Glamour Bust, in peach gold

First of all, I tried putting her in the Dollheart Fer just to see, and it fits her her body, BUT not around her boobs of course. So I am going to try it again when I get my Rexy with Medium bust

These EID shoes fit of course, but they show the arch a lot. Something I was not expecting. So just in case someone is picky?

As you can see it doesn't show as much on the outside of the foot.

Fits the Glamour bust very nicely, with the straps tightened all the way at the back, BUT...


The back strap would have to be shortened. This is worth it in my opinion though.

Model F underwear fits nicely.

Okay, here we are with round 2! I'm just gonna do a couple of the new things I got for Charlie tonight, then I'll do a few more tomorrow.

I just received my things from a Dollmore GO I was in, so naturally I had to try them all on Charlie. . . of course, then I had to wash the clothes and wash the black marks off of her >_<. So, now that she and her clothing is all washed to minimize staining (because apparently at least the stockings didn't want to hang onto any of their blackness before) I got the first outfit on her.

Bra and Panties Set . . . The bra fits Charlie's glamour breast body beautifully. It's a little difficult to get clasped at first because the Model has a much thinner ribcage, but it fits. The straps are adjustable and there's enough fabric that it actually looks like a proper bra on her (unlike what it's doing on the big busted Dollmore Model). The tangas fit well too, but are a little difficult to get up over her massive hips. Once they're on they're great though. Very cute and cheeky. I'll try and get a picture of them tomorrow. For now. . . here's how the bra fits!

These shorts: Again, difficult to get up over dem thighs, but they fit once they're on. The snap closure has some trouble staying closed, I am going to move it over just a smidge for ease of wear. In the picture the belt is covering an undone snap. It will close, but it doesn't have enough sticking power to STAY closed. The shorts look very nice with her curves though.

These knee-hi socks: Fit more like over-the-knee socks on the nYID. Model dolls are MUCH taller. As I'll show you tomorrow, the thigh high stockings are WAY too long on the nYID body.

Okay, part two of the dollmore haul. . . okay. . . so just the stockings part of the review. . .

So we'll start with the Model Doll stockings.



Specifically These Long Stocking Striped Black. The stripes themselves are beautifully proportioned for the doll but the stockings. . . . well. . . . they're WAY long. This is illustrated in the picture. I'll be cutting them and resewing some elastic at the top, but they don't even JUST go up to her crotch. They go up and scrunch or have to be folded down massively. Yep. Also in the picture you can see the tangas from the set I reviewed before.

I'm not even bothering showing the other stockings, same basic idea, WAY too long.

Now for some shoes I got from Ebay!

These Sneakers fit well. They're 8.5cm long inside so they have a bit extra as far as room goes, but they go on and fit on her foot nicely. They're 3.5 cm wide which almost seems almost TOO wide for her, though apparently it's not? We'll see when I can get her some other shoes to try on later. I really like how they look with blue-jeans though, and I find that the extra shoe size helps with her balance a bit.

Argh, I am definitely subscribing this thread! I'm so tempted in getting one of these lovely girls myself xD Especially since it seems much easier to find clothing for them than the SID or EID girls.

However, I have just a quick question- is it safe to say that most SD16 clothing will fit large bust and medium bust girls?

 

This is a new Dollheart Fer that I got last night from zirconmermaid. It fits my large bust Emilia very nicely although you can't button the coat all the way up but I never could do that with a Fer on my old Elfdoll girls.

They definitely don't fit the Glamour bust unfortunately for me.
I rarely use the coat anyway, and when I do I don't generally close it. The little buttons drive me batty by the time I get to mid-row lol

 

I have a feeling it would be hard to find more basic outfits to fit my glamour bust Bianca... like t-shirts, tops, cardigans... I'm not gonna start buying things for her now. I'll try my Feeple65 Chloe clothes on her first and see. I think I will opt only for stretchy fabrics... oh well...

 

Looloo, I think so as well, and I get a feeling my Emilia is a bit more casual/modern.
Closest thing I've seen is what Iple has shown in the Emilia review pictures (you have to log in to see these). The SID long sleeve slim fit Tshirts are ok on Glamour bust as well as the SID cardigan, which is a start The rest we might have to continue testing for though
The Iple cardigan sit a bit on the sides of the boobs though, which I am not so sure I like, but worse comes to worse, it seems easy enough to make a pattern with bigger sides that would go over them fabulous bewbs I shall try this week, but don't think I have the right fabric to actually make one. Must go shopping for Polo shirts. I think those have the right "knit look".

 

So I made a spreadsheet of all dolls that may be close in size to the nYID girls. Here.

Please keep in mind that these weren't taken by me, and were compiled from the DoA wiki and official websites.

However, from the looks of it... These girls might be able to fit into DDdy clothes! Pants, and tops that are loose around the waist. SD16 things seem to be pretty similar too - at least for tops and dresses. Small busted nYID ladies would probably be able to wear normal SD13-sized tops without problems.

Seems like the biggest challenge for these ladies is finding pants - because other than the DDdy and the SID, other dolls seem to be very different.

Any other dolls out there that might be similar in size?

 

Does anyone with a glamour-busted gal have Volks SD16 stuff they can try on her? I haven't even finished paying off my Rexy and I already know she's going to be an evil clothes-horse.

 

When my Rexy gets here, I'll try that outfit on her! I've got it for my SID gal.

Giodrakes My dolls like modern clothes too!Damn I removed that yellow cardigan and the slim fit T from my cart when ordered my Bianca! The shirt seems to fit great! And I SO regret I didnt include that black mesh underwear!!! Looks amazing on nYID body! I already have that SID "Miss Holiday" shirt with corset and grunge leggings outfit ... yay she won't be naked!!! I think it wont be a problem buying from Iplehouse cause we know most of SID clothes would fit... but and from other sites?

 

I'm going to go with no. I tried on these sparkly heels and these booties, and neither would go on her foot. The front of the foot is too wide. You could probably try to sand them thinner, but they'd definitely look very different! Maybe if someone had a second pair to sand? But the arch on the nYID feet is also less high than the SD16 arch, so there'd still likely be problems!

I managed to rip the bow off the back of one of these Time Will Tell shoes trying to get it on, because I was sure it was close to fitting! But no. These Senior Delf girl heels also do not fit.

I did get these Nine9Style booties on her foot, but I didn't zip them up all the way, for fear of them being stuck. So they're a maybe?

Lol, apologies for how much of a downer this shoe post is! Maybe we can beg Freedom Teller to do shoes when they start on the Iplehouse girls?

 

Does iplehouse sell extra high heel feet? I only see nYID geta feet listed separately. I bet it would be possible to use the boiling water method to reshape some feet to duplicate the more typical SD16 arch and then just sand the sides down. Doesn't matter since they'll be in shoes, right? Well, unless you want high heeled sandals.

 

I didn't realize they didn't have the extra feet listed! That seems like an oversight, since extra feet are sold separately for the other sizes?

 

I believe the feet for SID, EID and nYID women are all the same size, so you should be able to just buy SID feet for an nYID?

 

the lack of fitting is depressing, but hot water method might work.. My girl's supposed to alternate between being barefoot [she'll be having mehendi done on them] and wearing outrageous shoes.
IH will probably get around to casting feet separately, they've been inundated with making a million other things, and I also asked them to make some lingerie for the nYID girls and they said it'll be put up for discussion at their next meeting.

 

That's what I thought, but then they listed nYID geta feet and some new hands (I think they are Bianca's?) in the YID parts section. Maybe they have the same feet listed under SID and YID parts so people like me don't get confused. >.>;

I'm not a "shoe monger" by any means. I own 5 pairs, maybe up to 8 pairs at a time. But Miss Paige over here wants them ALL. Even the ones that don't fit her!

I am pretty sure the feet are different. The shoes didn't fit the same on both girls. The nYID seems to have a different arch and a slightly smaller foot but not by much. I'm sorry I have no way to compare anymore

Maybe someone can try. But comparing measurements from Iple nYID boots, these seem to be 1cm to narrow. Boots on Iple site are 7.9cm length and 3.5 width. These are 7.9 length, but 2.5 width

I've purchased leggings from Dollmore for my SID girls before, they fit fine. As long as the material is stretchy it's all good, a little long but it's to be expexted due to the height difference.

 

In case anyone was wondering, Iplehouse does not recommend the SID outfit "Girl Next Door" for medium bust nYIDs. I asked them because I really wanted it for my Bianca, so I'm a little disappointed. Hopefully, I can put a Prep School uniform together for her from other manufacturers.

No it doesn't fit. My girl has the large bust and i bought that top for her. Its too big. The straps on the black under top are too long, this can be adjusted and then it would fit. However the grey top is meant for a longer torso i believe. Instead of resting on her boobage, her boobs stick out of the v-neck gap. It looked rather silly XD

 

Hrn.... do you think these shoes will fit an nYID girl? The site says that the inner length is 7.8cm, but nothing on the inner width Which is a shame because that's the style I was looking for.
