are officially announced through [DollyBird Vol. 15],
the new doll will be a 1/4 adaption of the [U-Q|ZERO] construction,
the new doll will NOT be a reinvention of [U-Q|2.0]
but an entirely new doll with different proportions,faceplates,optional parts,etc.
these dolls are going to make their debut in [DollyBird Vol.16] of 2011, around April-May of 2011,

it's probably possible these new dolls will have the interchangeable option
to share the 1.5 optional parts like ears,wigs and eyes~!!!!

however I notice their knees are not double-jointed, I was somewhat looking forward to this option>____<;;;

hopefully there will be one Kit option with everything in, much like Zero, cause
what will we do if each faceplate/chestplate ends up in separate kits like the Chibies??!T______T

full preview of the new dolls will be featured in [DollyBird Vol.16] of 2011,
DollyBird is hobby-Japan's property, and they've already announced that [DollyBird Vol.16] of 2011 is where they're going to make their debut,
so reading between the lines I suppose they'll be up for pre-order through the next issue of DollyBird, just like the [U-Q|2.0], just like [U-Q|Zero](??)...
so yeah..it will be a little complex to order them but not impossible with all those deputy services out there and noppin.
unless Gentaro doesn't hand their rights over to H-J and the orders will be process through AlchemicLabo,

 

the new issue,Vol.15 has just barely hit the stands, [DollyBird Vol.14] was released Late Jul., 2010,
so I don't know..new issue will probably come around April 2011 / May 2011?..it's hard to tell...
but I reckon there'll be plenty of time to save-up etc..lol..

Leo / Poupée mécanique has recognized the wig being one of the same style wigs
worn by a [U-Q|1.5] at the September 10th Dollshow attendance of AlchemicLabo:

unless this is another size, it's quite possible the new dolls will be
compatible with all the previously released [U-Q|1.5] optional head parts,wigs and eyes,
who knows, maybe even [U-Q|1.5/chibi] faceplates, hopefully any such information is going to be confirmed soon,

 

DaggerChan, GOSH!!!O__O; Hadn't thought of that,
it may be time for me to get one f the fully assembled dolls then,lol..
I mean if the bodies are interchangeable sure I'll find spare blank faceplates
in our market place later if people just need the bodies for hybrids with other U-noa,

wondering if the small busted one is actually a boy-girl type
with extra chinko parts or even that of a male gender as a boot-default,

to me it's crazy cause I kept dreaming for that exact doll.O_o;

i don't know if it's a pattern but every other Christmas holiday
we get a small sneak peak of a new doll from mr.Araki,
that's one routine I could get seriously used to,lol!!

 

I guess there won't be any more pictures of them till next issue of DB, unless AL participates them at a Dollshow or somewhere else,
I hope some member will share a better quality scan of that one pic so we can examine it closely, I've been looking everywhere and no luck of finding it anywhere yet!!T___T

jennspeaks, as mentioned earlier the format of their sales is unknown yet,
however there is a pattern oftenly followed with debuting U-noa dolls,

in case ALchemicLabo processes the sales, these dolls could go into a pre-order anytime as soon as they finish testing the production and stock preparation..
any such sales will be announced and processed through the alchemicLabo website, or even WEBSHOP,

in case Hobby-Japan has bought their rights, then these dolls are going to make their debut in [DollyBird Vol.16] of 2011, around April-May of 2011 and usually the first preorder/lottery period is going to be announced at the same period, in that very same issue, with an ordering sheet found inside the magazine etc, possibly for a very limited number of fully assembled/painted dolls first,(mostly dressed character dolls as being displayed in various doll shows first,) then after a few more months follows the more common preorder for the cheaper kit option,this could mean either next [Dollybird] or next [Hobby-Japan] issue right after the [Dollybird Vol.16] issue, then hopefully Hobby-Japan dishonors their legal rights for the dolls(unless they are very popular and they want a second GO) and ALchemicLabo is able to handle the sales themselves, possibly in periodical preorder mode and perhaps later adding them to the WEBSHOP(this could take 2 years and then maybe more)...

immediate participation to these lotteries/preorder cannot be accomplished for people living outside Japan, however it won't be entirely impossible since you can use any deputy service as a middle wheel to participate and possibly Crescent/Noppin will participate in time if a lot of customers ask them to, this pattern formats however are just an assumption only in case things are done as usually,,

 

just for the record again, this dollybird will probably not feature any other info about these dolls other than this one picture,
the next issue will be their debut and possibly pre-ordering issue, [DollyBird Vol.16] of 2011

again this information is at the very best,...just raw assumptions...

preparation of stock could start anytime from now,
leading to sooner shipping dates later,

they seem to like to know the number of orders, before actually preparing the stock)

but the name is just what the staff over at AL have been calling this project,
and the name is currently under process, and will/can possibly be changed later, lol
then it says individual names for each faceplate will also be given soon,

also the doll is 43cm, and what we have already foreseen, has now been officially confirmed,
that the backhead(circumference for wigs) and ankle parts are the same size with [U-Q|Chibi]'s,
and also their Faceplate receiving system is compatible with [U-Q|Chibi] faceplates,
(with [U-Q|1.5] too but not without some alterations first, cause I guess
it will have the long-pegs-lock-under-the-cord system which the [U-Q|1.5] do not entirely support),

also it still is debatable whether the doll's distribution will be AL's responsibility,
or if Hobby-Japan will eventually process them, through their company,magazines,etc,
( BUT...it mentions something along the lines of "Pre-workshop lottery sales conducted in alchemy"!!!)
if AL keeps the dolls to themselves(like they did with [U-Q|Chibi]) it will be wonderful news!
(would mean faster and more frequent pre-orders,
freedom in optional part distribution and dates set for releases,
and then possibly a quicker addition to the WEBSHOP for main sales,etc)
...
